I loved the variety of different containers and camouflage methods used. Most of the GZs were deserted due to the school holidays, but there were still a few muggles to deal with. Thanks to SKI Pair for a great day of caching fun!"Any day caching is a great day, but even better when the Co is a good friend.
What a great find for my first time geocachers today! Thankyou! What a great hide!
Found while doing the special Christmas Day parkrun.Adelaide to South Gippsland and anywhere in between for the Christmas holiday. Hope to pick up a few more LGAs along the way too.SKI Pair, I found Winston Wander; Time To Take It Easy today. Date: October 7, 2023 Time: 11:13 AMFind #14237After completing my Saturday ritual, a parkrun in a random town somewhere in Victoria, this time it was Churchill's turn. After a coffee with the run regulars, I went for a walk around town, picking up some caches along the way. It was a pleasant day for a wander.Massive thanks go to SKI Pair for placing this one.
Spent two nights in Morwell, heading back to Ballarat today, logging my finds
TFTC found on a cold spring morning which soon warmed up to a lovely day. Found out on our electric wheels with Algae ️ scooting around the area. Nice place to visit first time here.

Spending the day caching out with @mtrill3 this one was a nice quick find today. TFTC
On a sneaky midweek getaway we stopped to do this series of caches and we’re not disappointed all very interesting and clever caches this one was no exception, unfortunately we found this one open and on the ground and a very large fury caterpillar had made its home in the cache, we was quickly evicted and the log picked up signed and replaced to its spot, thanks for placing it
This is the first cache I have found and it is quite an easy one good luck geo-chaching
Visiting Churchill for caching day. Nice walk along the track around. Easy to find. Thanks SKI Pair for placing this cache
I like the placement of this cache - unfortunately cache was empty so have placed a temporary piece of paper in a small zip lock bag. TFTH
Quick find however looks to have been emptied of its contents, no log to sign in this one.
After a tough run earlier this year with all our caches and lots of maintenance required we went out to check again today. All good.

The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so i decided to head out for a day out of the house and what better way than a drive around your own area picking up caches, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves and sanitizer I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. Thankfully a quick find and it was not a bison hanging in a tree.
Thanks SKI Pair for the cache.

A lovely day today, and even though we are socially distancing and staying at home we took the opportunity to take our grandchildren out for a walk and do a maintenance run on some of our caches.
This area has certainly grown since we first placed the cache here.
All good

We are enjoying a long awaited caching weekend away. Our research suggest there were some pretty good caches down this way. Today the plan was to hit up Churchill. Wandering our way through Winston series, this one was spotted on the fly. Tftc
Found with Genghicat after house viewing. Unfortunately he saw some faults I'd missed so it's back searching. And a cache to make me feel better. The cache was found quickly And is in good condition. Tftc
Took the drive to Churchill today to see if we could lessen the number of unfound caches we had there. After 3 hours, we had put a big dent in the numbers and converted them to smiley faces. Not one DNF today from all we found, which we're happy with.
Thanks to the CO for this placement.

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy
Thanks

An easy find on a warm day. Only thing of note was that some sort of alarm or siren went off while we were signing...

Hi there SKI Pair.
Today we were very fortunate to have Ski Pair chauffer us around the area as they did a maintenance run on some of their caches. Our initial plan was to walk around Lake Hyland before the weather got too hot but then, as the weather wasn't too hot, we also managed to find quite a few others while Ski Pair looked on (without giving any hints).
We are quite impressed with the quality of the caches we found today, a lot of thought and effort has gone into their location, size and placement. Congratulations to you both.
All up we found 16 caches & DNF'd 0 in this cache run. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Gold Coin.
Regards
Ian & Penny.
