I gave this a good search, but couldn't locate it. Goldenwattle was with me and she has found it before, but not this time. She reckons it has gone missing.

28-May-13
Looks like it got muggeled after all. It did do a very good job for a long time - a simple hide at a beautiful location. Hard to grab in good weather with the muggles on the tables at the other side of the wall only a couple meters away. Wink

It was one of our first two hides and I am sad to see it go, but it is time for something new at this location. Maybe more innovative, surely a different spot so that all the Canberra cachers who have done this cache have another good reason to come back to this quite beautiful spot. Smile

goodbye little fella...

26-May-13
Looked for quite a while in the obvious place(s) even with a torch but to no avail. Will try again once I have seen another smiley on the cache. Thanks

What a busy little spot this one is. We found the cache quickly but took a few moments to get it out from it's home. Used what tools we had and bingo. Decided to stop in for a drink. What a lovely area this is. SL T4TC Flintstones

We went for a picnic and a cache. But we found three caches! Smile Thanks

10-Jan-13
'2013: 10 Days In A Row' - Fraggles had packed our dinner before I got home from work. So we went for a picnic dinner out at Yarralumla. Found a couple of nice caches while walking the dog. Went home via the dog park, and somewhere we went wrong on the drive home. Picked up a cache in Deakin, and then we were on our way. Thanks for the cache. Smile

10-Jan-13
Approaching GZ and saw not one but three fig trees! I wonder if I am allowed to come back and pick them??? Nice area, will need to come back! TFTC!

31-Dec-12
Nice hide! Walked past this one a few times before we finally spotted it. TFTC!

30-Dec-12
Found this, nice hiding spot. Was already sitting at the Café for breakfast with the geo-stepdad, geo-hound and geo-chauffeur (aka, geo-mum)! Oh, and I accidentally wrote the wrong date on the log, oops!

30-Dec-12
Found with Missyliss. Nice hiding spot!

29-Dec-12
This one was found just before the park closed and in the dark. We didn't have to hunt around too long before the cache was located and then we made a fairly hasty exit to make sure we can get locked in. Yet another cache on our week-long caching trip through Canberra. Thanks helping as have such a great holiday!

29-Dec-12
Nice hide. This one had us searching for a while in the dark. Then C@H spotted it. No coffe at this time of night!!

This was well and truly wedged into place. Took some force to get it out.... considering it was wedged into plain view! It's a bit more hidden now, at the same location.

17-Dec-12
Lovely day, quick find, what more could anyone desire?

16-Dec-12
nice spot, found with shoobees heard a muggle muttering something about geocaching though, so we were extra careful in hiding it

15-Dec-12
Top place. A shortish search on a Sunday morning. A few muggles around but they were focused on their morning teas.
Thanks for the find.

12-Dec-12
This one had fallen out... lots of Christmas party evidence nearby. TFTC

24-Nov-12
Got it!! Muggles sitting on the crack for over 20 minutes and wouldn't move on lol went for a spin to get a drink returned and bam they left just as I arrived back Smile) thanks for the hide Smile)

17-Nov-12
After a good long ride around the lake, our party of four adults and two excitable kids stopped at the cafe to buy an ice-cream. The kids found the cache with a little guidance from me.

By the way, it turns out that the cafe does not have paddle pops and Cornettos and the like; for that, you have to visit the nursery. The ice-cream fridge is tucked away in a corner of the room that has the cash register.

A sunny Sunday afternoon was not the best of times to look for this, felt like the muggles at the nearby tables having afternoon tea were watching me intently...Anyway after a bit of stealthy searching found the cache okay. Nice place I've visited before. Thanks.

23-Sep-12
Took way longer than it should have, finding it after 5 minutes of hard searching! Twisted

09-Sep-12
We went here late afternoon (cafe shut, sun going down) but there were muggles EVERYWHERE! Did a sneaky job, watched a squadron of pelicans fly by and hide it back in the right spot shortly after. TFTC.

08-Sep-12
In a tricky spot, hopefully no one noticed us : )

02-Sep-12
Pretty sure we were in the right place. Lots of muggles around so hard to have a complete search but find it we did not. Had a nice picnic on the lawn beside the cafe though.

01-Sep-12
A quick easy find, thanks.

27-Aug-12
I'm positive that I have found this one before and thought it must have been an old cache location renewed. However, reading through the logs online I realised that no-one else had said anything about there having been a cache here before, and I'm sure that it would have been mentioned, particularly by the 'big guns' in the Canberra caching community. So I think what has happened is that I did find it a while ago and signed the physical log, but forgot to log the find online. Cache was located in exactly the same place and same type of container, although as this time I visisted after work and not at lunch time it was much easier to extract without being seen by muggles! Anyway, signed the log (again?) and re-hid and will remember to log online this time. TFTC and a reminder to come out here for brekkie one weekend, it's been a while : )

24-Aug-12
Quick find. The day was wet and the cafe had no customers, even though it was lunch time. TFTC.

18-Aug-12
Found while out for a weekend walk. Forgot to log at the time.

12-Aug-12
Sunday12 August 2012 - glorious warm Sunday afternoon without yesterday's icy winds. Retrieved the micro cache and replaced it at the same location without the risk of loosing it again. TFTC, thx p2p

11-Aug-12
This was hard- I failed to find it and then ClarityStorm had a go - she found it, but our attempts at subtly putting it back were laughable... Luckily the cafe was packing up so there were very few muggles.

11-Aug-12
Subtly went for a stroll after enjoying a strawberry milkshake since TheThingIsGone hadn't had any success. Avoiding the attention of muggles and particularly the waitress while getting the cache was fun! It was quite stuck so had to duck down out of sight while I actually got it out, haha was a great spot, TFTC! Very Happy

11-Aug-12
I can see the cach but can't get it as it has fallen down the crack

09-Aug-12
We were taking Brissy geocacher Brightskies on a touristy tour of Canberra when we realised that we hadn't found this cache yet. It was deserted here today - probably because it was almost zero degrees and practically snowing. Zita had an idea where the cache would be hidden and yep, that's where Brightskies found it. TNLNSL TFTC!! Smile

09-Aug-12
After arriving a short time before in the national capital, the awesome zita&enzo took me to my first Canberra and interstate geocache! Leaving the car I realised how cold it was, Brisbane caching doesnt usually carry the risk of hypothermia. We wandered over, I nearly slipped over on the slippery ground, and made it to somewhere that the GPSr said looked promising. We all hunted around the area in question and zita kept going back to the place that she thought it would be. I took the other side and finally found the object we were seeking. We signed and returned it the way it was found. Thanks heaps for my first interstate find ^^

04-Aug-12
Found it fairly quickly and took it a little distance away in the usual attempt to avoid arousing suspicion. Wonder if any employees have caught on yet. Nice little place, TFTC.

04-Aug-12
A nice quick find and with the cafe packing up for the day we didn't have to worry too much about muggles. A quick retrieve, wander off to sign the log and return and we were on our way. TFTC.

25-Jul-12
980. Had the place to myself this afternoon and spotted the hide reasonably quickly. TFTC.

Today seemed to be what the locals call "a perfect Canberra winter's day" a frosty chill in the morning, but a calm and sunny day - so what better thing to do than to go caching! This one was a nice quick find and we were away from any prying eyes. TNLNSL TFTC

08-Jul-12
Lots of people in the area, kids playing and kicking balls. The cache was soon spotted while the kids made a distraction.

Nice spot will have to come back here for afternoon tea some time.

01-Jul-12
Found after visit to the café. TFTC!

01-Jul-12
Very sneaky cache. Had to use the hint to solve this one.
Great cache.

30-Jun-12
Parked at the cafe but took the midget for a scenic lap of the nursery taking in the many leaf litters and one traumatised tree along the way. The cuppa-cache combo at the end was well deserved. Thanks Flintstone's!

10-Jun-12
A quickish find in the new logbook after a walk to the park. Used to come here as a kid! TFTC!

09-Jun-12
While in the area I change the log.

01-Jun-12
Found on a fine evening after a visit to the portrait gallery Smile

27-May-12
Lovely little spot. Fantastic cafe, had lunch. Worth the price.
Had to wait a little for things to quiet down. Easy find. Thanks for this one Flintstones.

24-May-12
Reperio at 0850.

On a nice day of caching around Canberra, I came by this one to an area I've frequented many times before for both caching and relaxing, and upon walking up to GZ, found the cache lying on the ground in the open. Had to read back through a few logs and read the hint to determine where it should go, so replaced it back in the most likely spot. A lovely little area I always enjoy returning to.

Gratias Flintstone's.

05-May-12
A quick trip to the nursery and then while waiting for my coffee a quick find of the cache. Was lucky that I wasn't in sight of too many muggles.

TFTC!

29-Apr-12
No worries about being spotted here (except by 'roos), it was still dark. But being well equipped with torch and magnet on a stick had no trouble finding and retrieving the cache.

Thanks Flintstone's for the Weston Park tour.

25-Apr-12
Nice easy find, spotted soon after arriving at GZ by Geowife. Had to be very sneaky as CAFE muggles were about. TFTC

22-Apr-12
Finding this cache was the easy part, extracting it was not as it had slipped down. Perserverence paid off and we eventually extracted the cache from its hidey hole. TFTC.

22-Apr-12
A quick find but longer retrieval, as the container had slipped down. Nearby stick soon rushed it out. Lovely place and will have to come back in daylight next time. TFTC

17-Apr-12
Lovely spot! I had breakfast here once and the cafe and surrounding gardens are just beautiful. TFTC!

18-Mar-12
Easy to find, a little challenging to retrieve - fun, TFTC!

Nice clue made a sneaky grab possible with some muggles about.
Thanks for another cache.

17-Mar-12
Great little spot but heaps of muddled. Lucky got the spot first go otherwise searching would be too obvious

10-Mar-12
My first cache of the morning as I made my way around the lake on my bike. I dodged the early morning latte drinkers for an easy find.

Cheers

06-Mar-12
After our basketball game we decided we needed a drive by cache given it was raining so this was chosen. We drove from belconnen and parked near GZ. No one around given it was night time. A short stroll and Miss Stormcatcher had missed the cache but Mr Stormcatcher spotted it. An easy retrieval. We signed the log and then attempted to role the log a couple of times before we decided to use our log rolling tool to get the log to fit back in. The cache was returned and we headed back to the car. Thanks Flintstones for a great cache. I bet this one is very difficult when the cafe is open.

03-Mar-12
I had to get the kids and dog out of the house for a while before my wife murdered them all, so took everyone geocaching in the pouring rain. Turned out to be one of the best times we've had. The rain just made it even more fun. Anyway, we turned up in the carpark and realised that there was a wedding reception at the cafe. Several bedraggled bridesmaids were smoking on the back steps and looking a little gloomy. We were having a much better time than them. The geodaughter deciphered the clue and quickly had the cache in hand. Great fun.

24-Feb-12
Lovely area, nice food. TFTC

24-Feb-12
Out for the day with J+J.au. Found cache lying out in the open on the grass..completed logging duties then replaced cache where the clue indicated, but it fell inside..opps. Grabbed magnet and soon recovered and placed on one side. All is now good. TFTC

11-Feb-12
A nice easy find, just on dusk. Don't think I'd been to this part of the park before. Very European.

TFTC

05-Feb-12
Made a stop at the cafe today to check on this one. Still there but deep in, a challenge to get back out. I placed it back in its original hide and while there put in a new log. Please replace back to were you find it.

04-Feb-12
love it so small

04-Feb-12
No luck today. I found ground zero, and reading logs I know where it should have been, but certailnly couldn't see it today. Doesn't mean its not there though.

PS Cafe was nice.

28-Jan-12
Found it on an outing with the family. Hard to get it out without being muggled.

22-Jan-12
Found it on the ground .

Afternoon caching in Canberra. Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!

14-Jan-12
Quick find out walking the geo-pooch. He was a bit more interested in the smells coming from not too far away.

14-Jan-12
Quick score on a splendid Saturday's run through the area. Now on to the nursury.

Thanks Flintstone's

07-Jan-12
great hide and clever hint found with geoscouts tftc

07-Jan-12
Found this cracking cache on a hot afternoon with 7 geoscouts. High muggle factor today. TFTC

02-Jan-12
Found @ 1530 - my GPSr had a little trouble settling down, but soon had me in the right spot. If there were still any doubts, the snails were a dead giveaway! Wink Cafe was closed, which made stealth unnecessary - the only activity today was at the nursery. TNLNSL-TFTC.
