Found with another cacher and logging now I have a premium account. Thanks for the cache.
Great little find. It's a little tricky I think o found it by luck hehe.
No joy today. Will come back another time - hopefully there will be less Killer spiders trying to string me up in their wire webs!
FOUND IT FINALLY HAHA we took the dog for a walk from the road and over the creak via fallen tree, searched around for a bit before deciding to walk up a bit further, found the bike track and started into the bush towards the creek for a better search area
Please note GPS in this area is fairly untrustworthy and can be kind of helpful but don't rely on it
For all checking the comments you no longer need long arms to reach the cache, we found it under it's little hiding spot and put it exactly where we found it
Our second find we had so much fun our dog loved it (although I wouldn't recommend younger or older dogs as there's plenty of spiders and we think we heard a snake) thanks heaps

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 123. Raglan to Gladstone. After a night serenaded by trucks and trains, I had a slow start to the morning. The first item on the agenda was the three caches around Raglan I had left for today, and then it was off to Gladstone via Mount Larcom for an amazing sausage roll. After setting up at the show grounds, I was off for some caching, starting with the LABs at the botanic gardens. A fun afternoon around town.
The walk up to this one was not as steep, but a bit longer than the last one. I started hunting at one area that looked good, but had to move over a bit and saw it peeking out from under its camouflage.
Thanks for the cache sentinel_maximus

Not too hard to find. Was a little tricky to get to GZ, but I just followed some grit rails to get to the dirt track. TFTC
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
22/6/21 On holidays from Mackay in Gladstone. Another cache with a short hike up to with a nice view at GZ TFTC SL
Found it just in the nick of time before being carried away by mozzies! Good spot!

Tftc sentinel_maximus, need the date for this for a challenge. Log signed. Nice walk through the bush , plants of birds activity
Found with ICU. Good walk to finish our afternoon caching. Easy find. Another worthy cache in Gladstone that doesn't have a favorite point. Well now it does.
TFTC,
Our first of 10 for the day as we start our list of finds for this amazing city.
Finding the standard of caches here is very high compared to where we come from, not a bad thing.
We were concerned about all the signs so drove till we found a track up the hill without a sign.

Our 1st day caching in Gladstone, found a parking spot and walked in, wonder what chicken asparagus was, but not what I found, nicely hidden away. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to sentinel_maximus.
Spending a few days in this area I came looking for this cache on a beautiful morning. Parked at the suggested coordinates and did the short bush walk to GZ. Walked past the cache then spotted it in its hidey hole when I turned around. All good with this cache. TFTC
I set off to find this cache from the parking coords
And strolled off into the bushland,
past the "No entry, Private property" signs,
and up the hill
I suspect the reason that the roads shown on Googly maps that don't exist,
is because a developer owns this land and is going to run the bulldozers over it soon
Which will be a shame given the beautiful bushland that is here for the strollin' though
At GZ the cache was soon found.
Me arms are long enough
Prehensile you might say

A geocaching roadtrip is an amazing thing. It takes lots of preparing, planning and pre puzzling to ensure time on the road is maximised. I have to say I exhibited none of these attributes as we readied ourselved for this roadtrip. I was fortunately joined by the energizer bunny (seffnjarah) and the Square Jawed Mountain Man (Crookedpete) who both like to prove how capable they are as the alpha males of the Bromance. While there is often much chest beating and tantrums, we manage to remain positive and end up with a good plan of attack.
We set off on Friday lunch time (so CP had time to make himself pretty) and returned late Sunday nigh, traveling some 2000klms, approx 70 caches of varying D/T Ratings, in just on 54 hours. Sadly there were a few DNF's (which some of the team took harder than others), but we saw many different cache styes, and some amazing places. Thanks to all the CO's who placed these caches for us to find.
Sorry to say, but this was armchair caching at its finest for me today. I let CP take all the glory, as I set about enjoying the sunshine. I did enjoy pointing out the correct entry point to the others as we drove past it 5 minutes later!

It has been far too long since Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and I did stupid things a long way from home. So, a caching road trip from Brisbane to Rocky & Yeppoon and a few ports (and mountains) in between was planned. The well planned though overly optimistic caching itinerary included miscellaneous mind bending puzzles, half a dozen or so of Queensland's Oldest caches including this one, a few wee hill climbs including this one, a healthy selection of unloved caches and any other interesting caches in between.
Day 2 of the trip, our target list is long and the morning is starting to get away from us. A navigational blunder by Fungus (he would get lost hopping out of bed in the morning) cost us more time and eventually led us to an unlikely access point, with a significant flowing watercourse between us and the cache. I could see another hour being lost here as my mates fluffed around, procrastinating, as to where the best access might be and not wanting to get their feet wet.. Sooks.... So I stripped off my boots and walked across the creek and stomped up the hill in my crocs to this cache. It took a minute or two to find this tucked away container in its nook.
Many thanks sentinel maximus

It's been 2 years since the Bromance undertook a geocaching road trip, the last being down to Gloucester NSW back in March 2015. With the blessings of our respective spouses received (mine seemed rather keen to get rid of me for the weekend) we headed off from Brisbane Friday lunchtime for a whirlwind trip to Yeppoon and back with a lengthy target list of caches. After finally finishing our first day of caching and setting up camp at 1.30am this morning, a 5.30am wake up call had us packed up and on the road agin for more caches including this one. Swellerfungus the Navigator had us heading off to a completely different cache despite protests that we were headed away from where we needed to be. In the end we accessed this one from the wrong side and Crookedpete was dispatched across the creek to do the secretarial duties in the logbook. TFTC

A nice Easter Monday bush walk from river views. A bit steamy! 2 yo Geokid happy to find this one TFTC
For some reason, this one always slipped off the radar. Not today, doing a TB drop to one of my caches, and i thought its time to grab it. Dont know why it took so long, nice and easy.

Yay! It's been a while since I got out in the bush and did some Geocaching, and I'm so happy to have found this one! Took me a moment as it's slightly off course from the co-ords but that just added to the find It's also being guarded by some giant crickets!!
Have been meaning to get up to this one for some time now. Got there today with the geofamily.
GPS coords were off by about 8m, but a quick look around have the cache in hand.
Log is quite wet, making it difficult to sign.
TFTC. Cheers

Located whilst out on a bike ride with Louie's Pack. Found but the coordinates are a bit off. A great location. Thank you for the hide.
TFTF parked at the cords and walked in to find cache. Gps was a little off but with a look around and a think where would I put a cache it was soon found. Had a little trouble getting it out of its hiding place but all in all log signed and replaced as found
I parked as close as I could, made a beeline to GZ and gps took me straight to it. Timed it well as some motorbikes came just as I got back to the car.

Left the caravan at the free stay, again, for another assault on Gladstone caches.
A good variety for a small community.
Found this one in good condition and well hidden.
Thanks for the cache, sentinel_maximus.

Challenging conditions today. Heavy cloud cover and light drizzle. GPS didn't seem to like it so it took us a bit of hunting around to find it. tftc.
Nice easy find while out Geocaching with my Geobrother. Nice easy stroll in the bush with my aussie hiking gear on e.g. thongs, t-shirt and shorts and cache was soon in hand.

What else to do on a hot day but go for a walk for a cache? A sweaty stroll down some roads and into a vacant block which led into the bushland. there sure are a lot of folk store their bots in the public land here. Some lads were getting about on their pushbikes as I made my way up the hill. I always enjoy a good bit of bush. Not far from GZ as I slowed down to read the cache page, on top of a hill in the dry bush, the mozzies arrived. Lord knows where they came from but they were plentiful and ferocious. I spent half of my time slapping the blood-suckers away. Between slaps though I spotted the cache a few metres from GZ. A nice spot for my 2960 and I was glad to be able to head off and away from the mosquitoes. TFTC sentinel_maximus
5th find for the day. Umm a small cache in the bush. Cat and Bear search for a while and as we were wearing thongs we didn't want to walk around for too long as owe previous logs we widened our search and Cat made this find. This cache is in plain sight and there is no need to turn over any rocks are sticks.

After an unsuccessful casual first trip, we made it GZ and this time used my Geo hat instead of the GPS with success. I didn't have a pen so no mark left this trip. Maggie saw me out so I might leave it a bit before I return with the pencil. Great spot and a nice view. Thanks.
Brought up 100 with this one, so thanks to sentinel maximus....
Quick dash through the bush on the way to the airport.

Found Ya,Oh dear a macro in the bush and no clue,We spent some time looking and looking with no luck so then we widened our search, This little fella was then located but by our two Garmin Origans the cache was 9 mtres away, Thanks for the hunt.
With the caravan parked at the Calliope Rest stop we took off in the car heading towards Gladstone to pick up some caches. A beautiful day and an interesting assortment of caches kept us entertained.

An interesting hunt in the wet this one was, but with the keeness of the Geos Savages it was shortly in hand. A really nice area this is, but for how long who knows? Saw some great flora and fauna on this one. Was alot of fun with kids.

Having been away for most of the last 12 months it's time to catch up on a few local hides. GZ found us in the middle of a forest of grass trees but we found no joy there so widened the search and soon came up with the goods.

Thought I would be first to find but I was beaten by a few days. Nice little hike to the cache.
Who would believe it!!! We've just done a 12 month trip around Australia and we score a first to find when we get Home... Beauty
