Our last find as we travelled back to Glen Innes. A quick find at GZ and a good size of container too. Thanks for the geofun.

Heading back to our accommodation via Emmaville after an unsuccessful visit and geocaching experience at the Ottery Mine, we decided to try for a smiley blip on the map here (or two). Easily spotted this one, once at GZ. Thanks for the decent size too!
Out on a weekend out west. Thought we would loop around through Emmaville and find a few caches. Nice quick park and grab. TFTC.

A quick find on our way out of emmaville. Had a quick bite to eat at the general store. Trying some fossicking. TFTC
We have found it ( have a photo ) but couldn’t sign the log as there were too many prickles. Hope that’s ok. Tftc
Stayed overnight in Glen Innes and spending the morning in the Emmaville area before heading off to Tamworth for a few days. Spent a lovely few hours out this way exploring places that caching is taking us. Many thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches and enhancing our visit.
Out and about caching today in the Emmaville district after driving from Glen Innes. Thank you to the CO's for the placement of these caches and bringing us to spots where you would otherwise drive past. Cache found, log signed and cache placed where found. TFTC
With a couple of hours to myself, and Emmaville & all its caches being so close, I made way here for some caching.
A quick search resulted in the CIH & a quick sign & replace. TFTC.

We are enjoying a nice little tour of the town looking for geocaches. We are glad we came here today and are enjoying ourselves as we see many different locations. Thanks for placing a cache here Cmthistle. We found it in good condition and gladly signed the log. A storm looks and sounds like it’s approaching so we hope the area gets some rain. We have been happy to turn this unloved cache into a loved one today.
Cheers and happy caching!

While in the Glen Innes area we travelled the locallity exploring the area and stopping for caches. This was one we targetted and found. On our day out to got to explore an old mining area in Ottery and also found a good place for lunch in Emmaville at the pub. Thanks to cindythistle for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
After getting to Glen Innes yesterday, it was time to do the caches around the immediate area. Out with Liz and Bruce for the last day bfore we part company. Great caches in the area and a few more klm logged in the car.

Quick find on the way through doing a job with a muggle mate, drop off a butt load of boxes to a customer.
I took the food out of the cache, there should not be food in the cache ...
I took a small swap.
Log book new.
Cache container good condition.
Ahh, the serenity

After being away for a short break over the Australia Day weekend and staying in Glen Innes it was time to head back to Brisbane. Emmaville was a nice little detour and we visited here early last year and did a couple of caches then. Today we thought lets do a tour of town via the local caches and try to find the ones we didn't last time.
Our GPS signal here was strong and the arrow took us to exactly the right spot.

Yesterday we spent the day hunting trig caches unsuccesfully but grabbed some on our way back through Torrington, and one almost next to our camp. So today on our second day in Emmaville we decided to attack all the town caches as well as this one.
Love this town. So many caches to attract travellers here. A quick find depending on which way you walk around the garden. TTb LN SL
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find possum bugs 43. Signed log and returned the cache to where it had been found.

I think Brother Colin missed dated the log was signed 7/6 not 7/4 but all is good tftc
I am still on my way home from the OZ Geomuster Mega event held at Morisset over the Easter week-end.
I arrived in Emmaville late yesterday arvo and stayed at the fantastic caravan park.
Nice and quiet, mowed lawns, electricity and clean showers and toilets all for $10 for a solo traveller.
So this morning I headed off around town to find all of the geocaches. In the end I DNF'ed just the one. [^]
A short search before I found this one nicely tucked away. [^]
And I left a TB as well.
Thanks for the cache.

Picking up some smileys while having a short break in Glen Innes on my trek back to QLD from the Mega. A nice quick find even dodge the spikes. TFTC.
Finally been able to get to Emmaville with my Geodog Scruffy to find these caches, which I noticed on the map a while back.
We really enjoyed finding these caches in and around this area.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Found at 12:38 PM GAFF1.
Not sure what the surprise was supposed to be, but we were certainly surprised to have found the cache quickly [^]
A nice little town - but oh so quite!
We were going to go to the mine, but with a 21' 6" van being towed, we thought that it might have been a bit tough to get to.
Thanks cindythistle.
Feedback: The hint is not that helpful as that is where the GPS takes you to in any case.

We detoured from our road trip to Broken Hill to visit my son-in-law's mother at the post office. We took a short walk around town and found this on the way. TFTC.
Another quick find as it was in the first (and last) place Mrs Shifter looked, we are enjoying our exploration of the area.
Thanks for the hide cmthistle.

this was a cute little garden, i was a bit more comfortable with it once i realised it wasn't a part of the house garden. the log is still damp but no time for it to dry out between the previous log and mine. took the pathtag as its one i don't have. replaced all and then realised i still had the pen, sigh, get the cache back out and replace the pen; then head off. tftc cmthistle
On the way very slowly to OzMega. We are visiting here again as we like it here but we were too late for anything to be open. Next time. The cache had been covered with the lid from the last loggers but it wasn't clipped shut so it was pretty wet. Placed the logbook in a dry bag but it will need more drying out. Nice little cache in a nice garden.... have a pathtag. TFTC
Find Number 17
The Booo's are heading to Oz Mega and passed through to collect this cache. Quick and simple to find. And a few scratches to relieve it.
Thanks cmthistle for placing this cache

Found on the second look. Seems I'm not too in tune with things today TFTC cmthistle
Thankfully found this one quite quickly. Had images of me doing laps of the garden.. Thank you cmthistle for placing this cache
Between the wasps stinging (x4) and a too friendly local yelling down the road "I KNOW WHAT YOUR LOOKIN FOR" and "HAVE YOU FOUND IT YET" a couple of times, I gave up after ten minutes searching and resigned myself to missing out on this one. Thanks anyway
Re last log!!! Had no real problems with this one!! thanks (Cee Hm Thistle!!!)...

Emmaville surprise alright! Got stung twice by a wasp, lots of spiky plants, not the best or most interesting spot for a cache methinks, won't be back to look for this one.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 2:50pm. The cache was found after a few minutes search. Good to meet local geocacher possum bugs 43 at this cache. TFTC
Found after a bit of a hunt, cache in good order, a nice little garden. Thanks cmthistle for the fun, SL and trackables visited. Will visit the mine next visit.
