I enjoyed walking along the headstones with my dad and recognising family and friends of family resting here. I found most of the information so Dad said he would do the calculations for me. Something got lost in translation as I was given coordinates that involved a lot of lantana, some scratches and some blood. After rechecking the numbers we eventually came away with a signed log. Thanks for the cache.
After a walk around the cemetery finding the answers required - I did the calculations to find GZ. bunadoorian , Smiley1982 and myself walked to GZ and it was bunadoorian who finally made the find here. TFTC and this multi muddtrax.
TFTC! A bit of a walk around the cemetery with Bunadoorian and Grub62! Bunadoorian made the find at GZ!
Grub62 crunched the numbers then to GZ. We searched and searched and searched some more. Then eventually we found the cache well and truly tucked away. TFTC.
Away for a 5 day weekend starting at an event on the Sunshine Coast, across to Kilcoy, down to Coominya, up to another event in Toowoomba, then over to Bell. Then it's back to Toowoomba via Crows Nest and home through Warwick. Have a rather ambitious list as always so it will be a busy few days. Came over from Bell today, checked into the caravan park and went out to do this one...again! I'd collected all the info when I'd been on one of the Rural Safaris but I don't think we'd had time to look for the final as we had to be back at the event. That was a few years back and the info would have been on a piece of paper and not in my phone. Gathered the info again and tootled off for the final. Checked the log and my name wasn't in it so I signed it. The Ian and Penny pathtag was a nice surprise!TFTC
I had been here before looking for the figures I think it would have been a couple of years ago. The wife wanted to go to the old Salts store in town to see how it has changed.
So last night I did a bit of a google search got all of the figures bar one, so I put all 10 different combos into the waypoints. Picked the middle one and it was pointing me into a direction of a likely hide. Enroute noticed another likely hide and there it was hiding in its cave.
Added a page from my notebook to keep the signatures going and now I am off for another cache.
Thanks for putting and maintaining this 12 year old cache.

Hi there muddtrax, we found your cache Sleep Awhile #2 today.
Day five touring out from Toowoomba. Today we’re touring to the north. Previous days have seen some great geocaching, and today is looking to be the same if not better.
Thanks for all the exercise.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the countryside today, & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: the logbook is extremely full. Unfortunately, we had nothing to replace it with, as we used our last scrap of paper doing the maths for this cache.
Regards
Ian & Penny

After a lazy lunch, and muggle husband looking for graves of his rellies, decided to give this one a go. A nice one to find for today! Tftc!
Interesting walk around this cemetery to find the answers. Nice quick find once puzzle was solved. Log good, signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Out with my favourite Geo friends getting some more caches. What a lot of fun today has been. TFTC
We’re in town for the Rural Safari and after setting up camp there was still plenty of daylight left.
I’ve wanted to get this cache for a while so was very keen to stop here and complete this multi. With the numbers crunched, it was off to GZ where we made a quick find. Tftc muddtraxx

With the information gathered from a previous visit and blank spaces source from the Web today was just a drive by to collect the goods.
Out for a few caches this afternoon before bedding down in preparation for tomorrow’s Safari….
A solution was found using all the available resources before setting off to make a quick find…

Arrived at Crows Nest CP and set up camp in preparation for Rural Safari tomorrow.
We still had time for a few caches before returning to camp for dinner.
After gathering the info needed to work out the final coords, we set off to GZ where we found a likely hide or 3... First spot was the winner. SL then returned as found.

The sun was out and there is nothing better than walking around a cemetery taking in the history. Geocaching has taught us not to be afraid of a burial site and we can even count a few zombies as some of our best friends.
This task looked daunting as there were lots of plots and plenty of the headstones unreadable. It was going to be like finding a needle in a haystack if you like a prick while playing in dead grass.
Mrs Woodyrothwell and I split up and covered the area although I have to admit my prowess of finding 4 of the sites. We gathered under one of the big trees (which we searched in case the cache was hidden there or one of the locations we needed) and found we had enough information to narrow down a search area. We didn’t walk through any water in the cemetery but found lots at GZ. I hope our zombie friends are proud. tftc

Staying in Goomungee for a few days. Finally the sun came out to stay around today! Lunch packed and off we go to visit Crows Nest and surrounds. So excited we got to see a little koala by the side of the road. We stopped nearby and of course he/she scampered up a tree but we got a good picture!
Wow this took a while but it was nice to be out in sunshine for a change even though there was an arctic breeze. We missed finding 1 plaque somehow but were able to do some juggling with the numbers and the cache was found after also taking a pic before putting hands in there! LOL.

Haven't had a chance to cache for a while, so decided to spend the day in & around Crows Nest.
Also, my geodog Scruffy wanted to do some caching as well
Another great cemetery cache .. [^]
The area was really boggy, so much that Scruff wanted to drink out of the puddles near the cache, she soon realized I did not approve and I gave her a good drink back at the geomobile of bottled tank water.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Took about half an hour to collect the numbers as the grass was damp and slippery in spots. All of the info was easily visible as I wandered past the local residents ??
A short hop to GZ then used the mobi camera to check before sticking my hand in ?? Cache a bit muddy but dry on the inside ??
TFTC ?? Nice walk as out on a CO maintenance run.

Spent anhour in cold drizzly conditions and only found 2 of the required graves There is so much algae and lichen growth I could not read the information on many graves. Maybe some WPs to help are required?
After taking a short walk around the cemetery, and enjoying some of the history here, we noted where the final would be, and added this one to our walk this afternoon. Our groups, Team Grav had the opportunity to visit this area together over the weekend after a geocaching event in Oakey on the Friday night.

A plan was formed recently to camp at Oakey over the October long weekend (due to Ekka being postponed) and tackle the art and a number of fun puzzles in the vicinity. The call went out to a few others we enjoy travelling with and the solving began! Lots of back and forth between members and we finally had a full set a few days out from the trip.
The roads were wet and muddy but that isn't going to stop a group of dedicated geocachers on a mission! The rain held off which we were grateful for however chunks of mud were often shaken off shoes before returning to cars and moving on to the next one.
As is always the case when caching with others there were many laughs and a great time had by all. Always a great sense of achievement when you've been working through a project over a number of weeks.
Thankyou for placing and arranging this series for our enjoyment. The fields and flowers were in bloom. Birds a plenty enjoying the roadside water sources. The scenery was refreshing. Always enjoy a taste of the countryside. Logs signed as Team Grav (as in Gravel assault!)

Thanks for the cache and taking us here muddtrax. Enjoyed the adventure.
Early morning start with Chamad after a very freezing cold night in a tent (pretty sure I didn't sleep at all!).
Today involved a few crazy target caches, especially in the National Park and on our drive back to Brisbane.
We thought this might have been a quick multi but it took us an hour. We split up for half of the cemetery each. Didn't help that I missed one as we then had to cross over and spend more time looking.
Glad we eventually had the cache in hand.
Out with triple turmoil this morning working our way around Crows Nest and some of the surrounding areas. I had a few target caches to get and a few as we passed by, what a nice area. I was particularly after the old caches in Crows Nest National Park, a couple for my 360 grid and then a few just because.
This cache took us almost an hour and a half to do as we missed one key part and had to search a second time. The information to be gathered was a little confronting and sad but once we had all the information worked out we set off to our new coordinates.
Thanks for placing this one here, all good with the cache, we signed the log and replaced as found and then started our way back around town.

Lovely historic cemetery; time to clear the head while finding the answers for this cache.
Out with lisylou and mnance101 for the weekend, didn't take too long, we spread out and retrieved answers tftc
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Bennyboppers and Lisylou). A great multi. We had miscalculated with GZ being over a kilometre away, but soon realised our mistake. TFTC!
Founf with bennyboppers and mnance101 today. Found all the graves ok, we mucked the numbers up which took us a kilometre away, after rechecking we discovered our mistake. Then it waa a quick find. Tftc
It's my Birthday! I am camping and geocaching around the Crows Nest area this week. I have signed SMH if the log is too small for my stamp.
I find these places very educational, This is a well kept place and the cache is all safe n sound.

Yay! Found this unloved today with Saintsmadhouse. Took us way longer than it should have as SOMEHOW we missed two of the names and had to walk the rows again. Finally got them all, phew, and inserted the new co-ords for a wonderful find. Thanks for placing this multi here. We love cemeteries and we enjoyed reading the plaques today.
Cheers and happy caching!
Cheers and happy caching!
We actually started this multi last week with geohubby preferring to wait at the car...However I didn't get very far into the walk when I came across my great-grandparents' graves! I had no idea they were buried here. I became quite emotional and stayed with them until the sun started to set so the clues would have to wait for another day. Made the trip back today to finish finding the answers and the final. Thank you so much for the cache otherwise I may never have found my relatives here
Out at Crow's Nest for the weekend doing the Rural Safari so today we decided to do some caches. We arrived here and Green Team 2 were already walking around collecting clues. We started our own investigation and quickly both teams realised we were only looking for 1 grave. So we all began searching as a united team. It was quickly spotted and together we worked out the new co-ords. The little chikins had been busy fixing up graves and standing up fallen over flowers and ornaments. They actually love visiting graves sites and doing this. We gathered them up and all walked to GZ. A quick find. We farewelled Greenteam2 and headed off to find more caches. Thanks for this lovely cache in a beautiful resting part of Crow's Nest.
10:55:00 AM. Having an extra day in the area after the Rural Safari to clean up some more caches. We enjoyed the walk around and met eatmorechicken when they turned up. Finally we found what we needed and made our way to GZ. Log signed on a cache that gives good exercise. Thanks for the cache muddtrax
Attending the Rural Safari 2019 event at Crows Nest, and travelling and caching with Susan and Uve of TBU.
After a 45 minute search and locating all the graves, we collated the required information and soon had the cache in hand.

We are staying in the Caravan Park for the Rural Safari 2019.
Thanks to the Event organisiers.
We met Mickeyspikey here, so we went together out for the Safari Rallye yesterday day. We had lots of fun and enjoyed the day out in the country!
And today we went together on another caching trip, in the early morning before leaving.
We slept very well during the 2 degree cold night. Obviously well enough to locate all the needed sleeping guys to calculate the coords.
Thanks to all COs!

After returning to camp from finishing the Rural Safari we handed in our forms and decided to go back out for a couple of quick caches. Had started this multi the evening before, nearly had gathered all the required info but it got very dark to finish. I must say this did take much longer than expected to complete overall but finally we did the sums and found the neat hide before nightfall.

Oh my another cemetery !!!! Always enjoy and appreciate the history and memories!! Tftc
Took us a while to get all the answers and then got one answer slightly wrong that put us out by about 10m as to where the actual cache is.....
But alas.....
Mrs Wardy found it, after Little Wardy said it wasn’t there (typical boy look) and we signed the log and on our way.
I love the cemetery ones

We usually enjoy Cemetery caches but walking round this one for 90 minutes in 33 degrees heat was not our idea of fun today - a little too strenuous at out age!!. Managed to find all the necessary graves and information for the final coords and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC muddtrax
Like the last cachers we couldn’t find Teletha Jarrets grave but managed to make an educated guess to what the missing number should be.

We wandered around this cemetery and visited every grave in the older area twice with 2 sets of eyes (+ geokids eyes) looking. We found all the info we sought, with the exception of Teletha Jarrett. It was a warm day & the geokids interest had definitely wained. Our OC decided to guesstimate gz with the numbers we had. He headed off in the direction of suspected gz whilst the rest of the geofam searched for the elusive grave. And bingo! At the same time as we found the grave, he found the cache!! He did the obligatories, while we put some flowers at same of the neglected grave sites. Tnln so TFTC muddtrax xo
I was out caching in the area today with Selva Girls after attending the Rural Safari. This cache was our first stop, with the two of us each taking a side to search. After some time spent reading and fact collecting we had some numbers and made the short walk to the cache. Thanks for the cache and the history lesson muddtrax
It is the day after the Rural Safari and stortigirls and I are out collecting caches in the area. This was the first cache of the morning. I parked the geomobile and we entered the cemetery. We split up to collect the required information. There are so many sad stories here. :'( Once we had what was needed, we headed to GZ. There the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Went out early this morning to collect the numbers for this one took quite awhile thank goodness there were too of us but still must have been a little out so decided to use geo senses soon had in hand

Up early after staying overnight to partake in the Rural Safari. Nabbed this one before breakfast. Had a good wander around gathering numbers. Obviously got some number wrong but was close enough that we were able to make the discovery and secure our smile.
Lots of walking amongst the graves with lots of names from the past of Crows Nest. TFTC
Great hide. I love walking through cemeteries - especially country ones!! Thank you! A favourite for this one, dropped a trackable to continue its travels.
We have set up camp at the Hampton Information Center, touring the local area visiting & discovering a few small towns & finding their caches.
A good variety of caches & hides found.
Collected the information & moved on to the final, cache was quickly found.

We enjoy a wander around old cemeteries like this. Today we split up and while hunting for the answers. Finally found everything Did the maths and made our way to GZ. Found the cache well hidden. All is good here. Put it back exactly as we found it.

With time constraints yesterday attempting to complete our mission for the Rural Safari event, we decided that we would grab final today (we didn't want to risk disadvantaging the team as the pressure was on). We headed here and made a quick find today however, watched over by a bird in a nearby tree.

Only able to answer two of the questions but it was enough to solve this one. With a bit of logic and elimination and changing a few numbers around it pointed towards a likely target.
When we arrived at gz it was obvious our hunch was successful.
Thanks

Staying in town for the 2017 Rural Safari event, and it's only logical to visit a few new or previously unfound caches along the way. Took a while to visit the resting residents, but got there in the end with a little help. All in good shape here.

We spent a while walking round finding the numbers. There are quite a few families buried here. Once at gz we knew where the cache should be but after some serious prodding Mrs. Herbz came up empty handed. Mr.Herbz had a turn and delved a little deeper and came up with the prize. All good here. TFTC.
Did not find baby Gillies but with a bit of maths logic determined that the smiley was between two points. Nothing revealed; muggled?
What an amazing place to visit. Sad to see so many little people resting in peace!
That was fun, but a little tricky working out last number. Thankyou. Found it, logged it, took nothing, left nothing.
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro' but now I have my own geocaching profile we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
After some time wandering and finding answers to 'most' clues we were able to punch in coordinates and guessing the final digit that we hadn't been able to find, we located the cache. Took nothing but left something, and signed log. Thank you muddtrax for a lovely cache.
Day 1 of my camping weekend at Crows Nest teamdfl and I have made our way from Brisbane, and now that my tent is set up at the caravan park, we are picking off a few caches northwards before dinner time [^]
I attempted to seek the information online last week, but only two came to hand, so there was nothing to for it but to wander around the cemetery. I quite like doing it, and we spent a while reading many of the graves. Lots of stories to be told here. Eventually I had what I needed, crunched the numbers and wandered over to GZ, where the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC, muddtrax.

Having come to Crows Nest for the Rural Challenge Event and staying overnight, we planned on caching today from Crows Nest to Yarraman and then as time allowed a few on the way home to Brisbane. Today was in the company of Nadine1989.
What a great multi. I love cemetery multis - such interesting places and often unseen parts of the past history of the location are often revealed. Today it was interesting to see so many "family" plots going back over the years.
After a while we had the numbers, and then the cache in hand. I noted the presence of the Reef Check Geocoin.
Found at 9.20am on 29th May 2016. TFTC.

RoddyC and me started on this morning very early to find some caches on our way. Most of them there traditional ones and not very complicated. The two special ones, one multi and one mystery were great! I enjoyed the tour, the landscape and the caches.
Such a lovely multi! I really enjoyed this one. It took us a while to find the dates but not too long so it was just great!
Found a coin in the cache but left it for other people.

We split up and ventured into cemetery to get the answers required. There was storm clouds looming and thunder could be heard. Just as we got the last number it started to rain. We raced back to the geomobile and made some quick calculations and then off to find the cache. Good fun. Thanks
So much history, certainly gives you a picture of how hard life was in the late 1800s and early 1900s. TFTC TNLNSL
Finally found this one with a huge amount of help from BertiesMum. We made three visits in total; two to get the info and the last one to grab the well-hidden cache. We really enjoyed this one, but suffered from selective headstone blindness the first time, haha.

Well this one certainly helped fill in the time while we were waiting for a tyre to be repaired. It also gave us some exercise in between showers of rain. Left taurus1955 to do the calculations and then we wandered off with BentleyTB following the GPS. After I was bitten by a flying ant, I gave up in that area and was prepared to give it a DNF. However, upon checking the numbers, we discovered a mistake and soon found the hide with not a flying ant in sight. TFTC
A very unusual type of multi which I did enjoy between showers whilst my tyre was being repaired. If I hadn't misread the directions the cache would have been in hand quite quickly but, when misschief18 went over the calculations she realised what I had done therefore making it a very easy find.

Well I have to admit that I have missed logging this one. So long ago. Had to consult my phone diary to establish the date. Found all but one answer but it was enough to make a calculated guess and find the cache. Thanks muddtrax.
We spent a good while wandering amongst the headstones reading all the names and gathering the clues. It was interesting to see the different families of the region. With all but one name found we decided we had enough to work out GZ. A quick look there revealed the cache, safe and dry. TFTC, muddtrax.
We decided to headed out to grab a few caches and explore some of the local NPs, a possible 10 was on the list but at the end of the day we had only found 4 and 4 great caches they were!
We pulled up here and the three of us began a systematic search....half way through one of us decided technology was the best way forward. It ended up helping us out with the final name we couldn't locate. And with the coords worked out and 500m??? To walk I was wondering if I had it right. Went back and checked and checked again. It wasn't working. We had a break and some morning tea and half way through the coffee I realised I had written down something wrong. Now with the right coords put in we realised we were just 30m from GZ!! We quickly found the hidey hole signed it and returned it. Great hide and TFTC mudtraxx
We pulled up here and the three of us began a systematic search....half way through one of us decided technology was the best way forward. The whole Crookedclan are having another Easter camping adventure with some friends on a property on the Blackbutt Rd. Easter Sunday required a brief trip into Crows Nest for some essential supplies. On the way, my son and I took a walk around the cemetary collecting clues. We missed a couple if clues, but with the information we had and a bit of geologic, we were able to make the find in a likely spot.
All in good order. Thanks for the cache, muddtrax

Off on a mad adventure again for a few days. Heading towards the Bunya Mountains to clear out the caches there, and maybe find #4000 along the way. My very scenic route took me on quite an interesting tour of the surrounding area as a weaved my way towards my goal.
This was probably not the best choice, but with a few DNFs to stuff up my plans I needed to do some longer hunts.
I had the place to myself, which always helps. I enjoy old grave yards. So much history to be found. A quick stroll round, numbers crunched and off to GZ for a nice quick find

We enjoyed the stroll around looking for the answers. It took three of us about 20 minutes to locate all the answers. Actually TagAlong! found most of the answers. Once solved the cache was an easy find. TFTC
