Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
This morning we left Rapid Bay for the final run to Cape Jarvis and the ferry ride to Kangaroo Island. On the way we visited this cache.
Sorry to be so blunt, but if cache owner kids expect you to find his cache, then cache owner kids need to learn about CITO. This beautiful beach is marred by the rubbish left here. We were disgusted and disturbed to be searching in such a beautiful location - in a rubbish dump. We looked for a while, but gave up. Maybe it is there, and we overlooked it as rubbish

Ground zero (0m with Garmin Dakota 20) looked like a dump. Still searched some minutes but then gave up.
Tftc. Took nothing, left a zebra. It's a stunning beach here. . You'd want a 4WD to be able to get back up the hill.

Would ya believe... 9.00 at night and someone is ‘parking’ right where the cache is!!! LOL!!
I headed down the coast to do some geo sightseeing today as I've got an unexpected day off. I found the logbook as per the previous finders. A quick look in James (geo mobile) found a suitable replacement 'lush shampoo tin' and placed the logbook inside. I picked up the rubbish in the area and replaced the geo. Hopefully it might still be there for the next finder. TFTC
Just found the notebook. No container.

Jesswrigley and I were staying for an extended weekend just outside Cape Jervis, and today was our final day as we made the return trip back to Adelaide. We geocached around Cape Jervis, walked around the old mining area of Talisker Conservation Park, checked out some wind farms, and then drove back via Port Noarlunga.
There was a bunch of rubbish scattered next to this carpark and at GZ, which didn't make looking for this one too pleasant. There was a suspicious pile of rocks, but nothin within that. However I found the geocaching logbook caught within the bushes, and no sign of a container? No one else seems to have mentioned the problem, so not sure if this is just a recent issue with a muggle emptying the container or something? May need some attention. We stamped the logbook, and then hid it within a brick centre and in the pile of rocks, so somewhat protected for the interim. A really nice beach actually.

Found the log book, and a suspicious pile of rocks but no container! Suggest maintenance be performed on this one! Cute little private beach, shame about the rubbish.
A quick found on arrival here in Cape Jervis. Thank you for the cache.

Greetings from Swiss cachers.
Its been a few years since I visited Kangaroo Island, so I headed off for a break for a few days and the chance to grab a few caches.
I managed to find a nice selection of caches over three days in some great places. Its a very relaxing and scenic part of the world!
I found this cache as I travelled down to catch the ferry. A lovely area. Picked up TB.
Thanks NormyCrew for the cache.

Found with my Mum, Boeing737, on our trip to Adelaide. Poor Mum braved the bushes to get this one and hurt her foot tripping over some rocks. We enjoyed the beach though! TFTC
Ouch ouch ouch ouch!! Those branches are super scratchy and unyielding! Lovely beach, we had fun
Eventually got to it...enjoyed the views...forgot to sign....next trip i will sign....tftc
Great isolated location and the last few metres of the find really difficult. Enjoyed the experience though. TFTC.
Heading out to Cape Jervois then back to Pt Willunga collecting caches as we go. What a beautiful beach TFTC
Quick easy find after a swim and play in the dunes. What a great little beach we stumbled across on our weekend away.

Turns out my gps didn't have this one saved. Also had no internet so my phone wasn't too helpful.
Looked around for a while before spotting the likely spot and cache was found soon after.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Quick find, only a couple of fisherman on the beach.
No kiosk selling ice cream ... perhaps that is why.

Found with Astronaut99 and Beaker on a long weekend camping, kayaking and geocaching adventure up the Coorong and all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. Highlights included seeing hundreds of Pelicans in the Coorong, Jellyfish in the crystal clear waters at Victor Harbour/Port Elliot, visiting a sea cave, and waking up in our swags on Australia Day to see the silhouette of kangaroos! Thanks
Escaped home for the long weekend and decided to spend it caching and kayaking around the fleurieu peninsula area. Was a good eventful weekend accompanied by -Beaker-, FerociousFlea and a roaring sun.

Found with FerociousFlea and Astronaut99 on our trip around the Fleurieu Peninsula for the Australia Day LWE. It was certainly a hot one!!
This was just one of 70 found during the weekend.
Lovely spot... cache had been moved from under the rocks so hid it a little better.

#2918 Would have to agree that Morgan's Beach is beautiful, with its stunning high cliff backdrop. Fortunately all the muggles were enjoying the beach so we were able to make the quick find stress free. TFTC guys!
Great spot and a lovely beach. We would never have come down here otherwise. Beautiful rocks and nice to have a walk and a climb. TFTC!
We travelled from Adelaide to KI, Cape Jervis, the Grampians, GreatOceanRoad, Melbourne, the Red Centre with Uluru, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs and finally to Perth and it`s southwest Coast. What a great holiday trip. Lovely spots, wonderful beaches, a lot of kangaroos, koalas, seals …! By the way, we cached a bit. Many thanks to all owners for hiding the caches.

Working in the area for a couple of days so took the time to make a find. Thanks normycrew
We initially tried to tackle this from the wrong end. Then drove up to nearby lookout to watch the ferry dock, then took the right track in. Quick find. Mum did the scrambling to uncover this one after I gave her a hint where to look. Cache #2761.
After looking into the bush and deciding not to crawl in there, I repositioned and spotted it .
We had a lot of time before the ferry to we decide to find some cache around here. Thanks! **GEOCRACKERS PROUD MEMBER**

We were supposed to be using our new camp chairs and table for a picnic here at Morgan's Beach, alas it was pelting down with rain so we had our yummy picnic in the car. A break in the showers allowed us to find this cache. Loved this spot and hope we will be back one day. TFTC
All of RailMax on an Adventure Day heading south! Fifth find of the adventure day. Little RailMax found it too so very happy!! Such a divine place! Thanks for the cache!
It is indeed a beautiful beach. Enjoyed wandering around the rocks - there are so many interesting and colourful ones. Thanks for placing a cache here. Now onward to catch the boat overseas
We are in South Australia for a one week holiday at the Lady Bay Resort at the golf club near Normanville. Day 4 - a day closer to 'home' - south to Cape Jervis and a bit more.

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! We are currently on the first section of our journey, which started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. Yesterday we drove on to Cape Jervis where we are at present. Tomorrow we travel on to Kangaroo Island. After leaving the island we will travel slowly towards Melbourne, via Goolwa, Coorong, Mount Grambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. From Melbourne we head to Tasmania for a few days, then back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
A nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.

A quick find in a well trampled area with lots of rubbish there too Not a pleasant area near GZ but a beautiful beach Thanks for bringing me here TFTC NormyCrew
The ferry landed and we thought lunch on the beach would be nice. But the dark cloud that followed the ferry stopped and rain started. We did not want to be at the beach and try to drive out on wet roads in our wee rental car so high tailed it to the lookout after we found the cache. Second cache find after arriving from the island and second piece of paper added.

Today's caching adventure bought CPWanderer, Clare007 & me all the way down to the Cape. I was keen to drive down onto the beach but...no...we ended up parking at the top carpark & walking down to quickly locate this cache. A lovely Beach...TFTC NormyCrew
Walked from Cape Jervis along the rocks to the northern end of Morgans for a picnic lunch with the geowife and geodog. Found cache and signed log. Used to have many outings at this beach 15ish years ago sandboarding, snorkelling and fishing. Signed the log
