Lots of works happening on the oval means the carpark is no longer accessible, and it seems there is a lack of interest in local ark caches these days. Ten years of fun, time to go.
Because other people had found it, we decided to give it one last go, but we still didn't find it. A bit disapointed but...we can only do what we can.
I have searched for this one about 5 times with no success, today I was lucky that my GPS finally decided to cooperate on a 34°C day.
After my last run with no CIH I went home and read the logs which helped a lot in me finding it today.
How I missed it so many times I don’t know, walked past that log a thousand times even clearing the leaves right on top of it!
Thanks for the cache, TNLN. Contained a bird toy, domino and a few Woolworths animal cards. Log has about 3 pages left and the bag has a few holes in it so will need checking up but container still great

Hint seemed intimidating at first but after breaking it down cache was found. Accompanied by R2BEEF2, GeoJess, Phelptip and Maddawg
We were out here today just showing someone. And yes it is still there in it’s hiding spot
No luck today, a lot of areas that could relate to the clue. I'll be back for this one
Out and about in the area picking up caches here and there and this was one we found. It was certainly well hidden. A well maintained oval, everything is so green. TFTC
Today we travelled to Gosford caching on the way and this was one we found while collecting a Trig Points as well.
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Need to complete a find on the 16th of the month so this is it. Geo brother found it
Yes finally. Tried this one a long time ago but could not find .but today we got it

ReFound with the Mighty Minions on a trip down to Katandra Reserve. We had a pretty great day finding all the caches we tried for and doing lots of huge walks.
Seeing this had a lot of DNFs and was getting unloved we decided to check up on it. Coincidentally, initially finding this cache was the first time we had met each other years ago. Left a TB.
Thanks for the reminisce and cache!

Poked around with our sticks for ages, found evidence of muggle activity and no cache
Unfortunately did not find today and spent quite a bit of time on this one, only to return to the car to discover the leaches everywhere!
For the first time ever, I probably will not return to this one, you can blame the leaches..sorry!!

Didn't see any leeches but the thorny vines got my legs, Lots of blood! My first geocachinjury, better add band aids to the kit
My GPS was going nuts all day so I didn't really know where I was supposed to be, found several things matching the hint but no cache. After that I cracked it because my legs were stinging and left ha.

In the area at Paul Oval with my grandson playing cricket. Parked about 50 metres from the cache, just had to have a look. It was very dry so not a leech seen. Thick tree cover did not help the GPSr, but with a bit of wandering around I soon had the cache in hand. Signed log and returned as found. Cache dry and in good condition. Thanks for this one.
A lot of prostrate trees, but found it eventually No trackable..swapped the grave digger for a Keychain..
Took us longer than we care to admit but finally got it. Great cache. Left a little Bart toy in there
The hint was very frustrating for me today, as there were so many things that fitted with the description in the hint! It didn't help that I kept coming up the slope when a down slope approach was the way to go!
A quick find with my two year old geodaughter. As per usual I brought home a leech, despite only being there for 5 minutes. Thanks Mr Noo for a kid friendly cache - my kids don't have the head for heights we usually need for yours TNLN TFTC
On the way home from a shopping trip at Erina Fair and this one was a convenient stop.
Dropped off a travel bug.

Wow every cache this week I have walked away with a friend... Vampire slug. Hate leeches only because of the inch after
Had me thinking but easy. Our 3rd cache that mentions having TBs and none in there.
Took me a while to find this one. Need to remember to let the gps settle. Good clue! TFTC
Enjoyed day today for some caches at Gosford area..
Nice Park.. Easy to find as no trouble..
Thanks

Thanks
Dropped off a few TBs given the no doubt increasing popularity of local caches. Ta Mrnoo- you ought to open a travel agency!
Ps - did not see another there BFJ, hopefully will be logged soon.
Ps - if TB was Zauber Mickey has been moved on and logs out of sequence.

Been before but in a quest - found something but it's goal needs to yet be ascertained
Dropped off a TB while searching for clues to the whereabouts of the bushranger.
Found quickly with the family. Not much in there. I left a hot wheels and a couple of carabiners.
Gps was all over the place. But a bit of searching and help from the clue got is there eventually.

BillHill531 and I set out early on our way to the Pi event and stopped for some caches. This was the sixth of ten today. We stalkedfollowed the mighty minions and friends to this cache. I was worried that the million people on the field would make it difficult to retrieve, but when we arrived and walked in the opposite direction I was relieved. We made a very quick find as it was uncovered. After we all signed the log, we put it back with a piece of cover to match the hint.
Thanks for the short walk and nice sized container!

Found on a day out caching with Mighty minons, Unicorn princess, Leopard Kat and Adam. Found quickly in a nice little bush area TFTC
Mr Roo,Unicorn Princess,Leopard Kat and I were on our way to a nearby event. We were a little early so stopped for this cache,we walked around a little and then I said can that be the cache at first we thought no because it was way to exposed on closer inspection it was so after signing the log we covered the cache better Thanks for the cache mrnoo17 tnln sl
Found with TOMBI!, and others on the way to have a pie. Some extra cover added.
After getting a couple of nearby hides more quickly than I had anticipated, I headed over to do a couple in Matcham as well. This one was not a particularly enjoyable experience. Even though my GPS had me in the right area, I had to rat around for quite a while to get the find ... even the hint didn't help much. I'm just pleased I did it at this time of the year without having to add mozzies, leeches and lantana into the bargain.
To my amazement, I eventually found the container out in the open ... well as open as it can be in the middle of scrubby bushland. After putting my mark on the log, I rehid the cache next to a nearby log and put some twigs and leaf litter over it as camo. As it has obviously suffered from cache creep, it might be a good idea for the CO to do a cache check sooner than later.
Thanks for the smiley mrnoo.

tb drop, cache is fairly dry, swaps are getting low though. Log is fairly dry, but may need an airing soon.
After finding the Katandra Rainforest multi, I swung by here on the way home, stepping very warily after reading the reports of thorny vines as I was wearing only a pair of board shorts. Thankfully I survived unscathed and quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC.
Swung by this one on the way to Chinese Import. Headed into the bush, and soon realised it was further in that I initially thought. Followed the GPSr (which was being kind) and narrowed in on GZ where I spotted the cache immediately (the cover was slightly shifted). TNLNSL. Headed out of the bush in the more direct way (as always) and popped out much closer to the car than I entered, and I must have been one of the lucky ones - a couple of mozzie bites, but no blood suckers
Even though the leeches were out in full force, we were able to get in and out without to many casualties.
Thought we would grab this one whilst in the area, GPS bouncing around again because of tree coverage. Again great spotting by GeoWife uncovered the hide. As soon as I started signing the log I was under leech attack but managed to flick them off before they took hold. TNLN SL TFTC

Nice and easy. I scratched up my arm on those vines despite the warnings! Thanks.
Have played cricket here as a youngster. Short boundaries and dense bush = lost balls.
Vines near GZ are dangerous! They contains many thorns and have cut my leg up!!
TFTC cheers

The cicadas here are deafening this year, and saw a tree covered with them. TFTC.
Found it.. and a leech found me. I draw first blood!

Very quiet here today quick find amongst the leeches and the cache guardian was watching the cache tftc mrnoo17
Found it pretty quickly. Leeches found me just as quickly haha. Nice hide, and a good place for kids. Thanks for the cache.
Up visiting Gosford for the National Square Dance Convention.
Adrain, Michelle and I was sitting around home doing nothing so decided to do a few caches that are close to the house we are staying at.
This was a first cache for the afternoon and Adrain's first cache ever.
Adrain was lucky enough to find this cache. The rest of the experience was a bit of a lost and found. Michelle had continue walking along the path and then got lost. We were able to find her. We also found some leechers on all 3 of us.

A massive walk today closed out my biggest streak yet 31 caches in 5 days to just narrowly take the lead back from gourmetgazelle. Great hide, but didn't hang around to be chomped on by the mozzies/ants/ticks/leeches, I've had enough of these in the last 5 days and think I'll stick to urban caches for a while! Tftc!
Ventured in today....but then stopped and went back out . I had to go and put some more appropriate footwear on when we noticed all the big fat juicy leeches waiting to attach themselves to our feet and legs and geomiss almost screamed the bush down when she found one on her hand!! lol
While doing this geoson ran ahead......by the timeI got back to the park I was already hearing the calls of "I found it"!!
Clever hiding spot mrnoo17. However since we forgot to get the number.......we went back in. There was NO sign of a number on the lid, nor at the front of the log book so thats a bit confusing?!
Took TB. Left macca's toy TFTC!!

We came down here after a really long day and were really, really tired and hoping for a somewhat easy to find cache, which this was.
It was pretty obvious, for us, where it was but not so obvious how to extract the cache. It was pretty tight in there but we eventually got it.
When we were heading up to this cache, there were heaps of muggles and nearly turned back but after realising that the cache was a bit further down the road and in the dense forest, we decided to continue and were rewarded for our decision.
We took the TB and swapped it for a Koala TB from America.
Everything was in good order and well stocked. We signed the log, forgetting to remember the number (i'll have to head back tomorrow), replaced the cache and camo and left.
Thanks mrnoo17 for this interesting cache.
