I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. This one has been presenting problems lately. If it is worth maintaining I will be inviting a local cacher to take it over in the next two weeks.
Tried my luck with this one today but I couldn't access it due to the extremely long grass. I didn't feel safe walking through it so Iv decided to log a dnf. But won't be a dnf for very long
Was certainly stomping through the knee high grass today to keep the snakes away. Found the cache ok, but the container is cracked and admitting moisture. The Log book was a saturated mess so placed a new log in a zip lock bag. No flying foxes in sight today. TFTC.
Great find, fell down in the long grass though. Very dirty fruit container.
Heading ... well anywhere except Brisbane really - Binna Burra looks nice, away from the G20 madness, and into the Hinterland goodness. Had a massive (50+kms on foot) two days, a party (thankyou so much HotwheelsDuo ... and friends), camping and now it is approaching 40 degrees mid-morning. Time for some drive-by caching.[xx(]
Decided to head up to Tabletop to check out the views. Yep - about as far as I can go in this here vehiccle.
Thanks for placing this cache, bristracker. Found in good condition.

I was in the area today - attending muggle son's downhill MTB race nearby. Had to pick up a few whilst I was here didn't I?! Appropriate naming for this one and clue too. The cows were watching me closely but I ignored them and signed the log. TFTC bristracker!
Out caching with Rusty85, GT54 and DiamonJs and heading to Lamington. Went to search for this cache earlier. A lovely valley setting. TFTC.
cache find #1858. An early start to the day of caching with JooJoo57, Diamonjs, and Rusty85.
The cache was found easy. Log singed and cache replaced. What wonderful views there are around here. Now off to Lamington for more caches. TFTC.

First one for the day with a great group of friends. What a gorgeous valley, really enjoyed our drive up here. TFTC
We set out this morning for a day of caching, we didn't have a good start when we got to the first cache and realised we left our list at home but we decided we would just wing it ha
This was our 600th cache we have found so far & it was a fairly quick find TFTC

Out and about with Couchmen, and three of my kiddies, on a run to do Kilarney Glen cache and others in the general area. Only really a half day caching, but we still managed 12 including the awesome Kilarney glen cache. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.
Kids grabbed this one, nice easy find for them. TFTC.

I was out today with Blacklegend and part of his junior team trying to clear out this area.
It was a beautiful day and the bush was looking spectacular.
BL & I both love being out in the country as opposed to suburbia and so we had a ball!!!!
This was our last cache for today and we had been quite successful in clearing out the area.
This was a good one to finish on as it was a quick park and grab.
Thanks BrisTracker TFTC SL TNLS

A beautiful Autumn Saturday...so I went for a drive looking for caches.
I covered almost 200km making my way up here, then over to there and a bit walking thrown as well.
This one was a little tricky as there was construction going on with trucks parked here and there.
I got out grabbed the cache turned around and left.
Thanks for the cache

I couldn't come all the way up the valley and not take the detour up the side road for this one. The locals were burning off on the hill. I hope it doesn't reach down to the blocks as the cache just sits in the grass. At least this was how I found it. Thanks bristracker.
I headed back out this way this morning and what a perfect morning it is. Quite a nice drive out through the country to GZ. Not a muggle to be seen unless you count the cows, wallabies and kangaroos. How good would it be to live out here, ahhh the serenity.
Found the cache and added a new name to the log.
Thanx for the drive bristracker

This cache has been on my "to do" list for a while now.
I was in the area grabbing some newer caches so decided on a bit of a detour to track this one down.
Thanks for the cache bristracker. Cheers!!

Arrived at the obvious location and located the cache peacefully residing where I suppose it should be. No real need for hiding this one too well. Nothing around to disturb it apart from the occasional cow. TFTC bristracker
Quick find, straight after the last cache had lots of 'skins' around so we were very careful. TFTC
A quick find after a nice drive along the country road.
Thanks for bringing us out here bristracker

Last one for the day. It is nice to drive along a country road. This one was easy to spot. Signed our names then headed home. Thanks bristracker.
# 377 After a busy week and an even busier weekend planned, I just wanted to clear my head and collect a few caches. I was back in Tamborine area so decided to head the opposite way this time. Little did I know this road leads nowhere.
An interesting drive out to this cache in the Cache Racer. She's not built for these types of roads and spent most of her time dragging her belly on the hump between the two wheel ruts. But we made it in the end and the cache was quickly found. Local farmer popped over to see if all was ok. Had a quick chat before back tracking the way I came.

This one was uncovered, behind the block. It's a shame not many people have been out here.. Lots of cows, they all stared and moved towards us once we arrived. Found with kadin92.
It's hard to believe that this close to civilisation we had to reverse back up the road to let a bunch of guys do there job and must some cattle from one place to the other. 3 blokes on horses and 3 very energetic dogs, wait make that 4 ours was in the back of the car, almost beside himself trying to get out and join in. Magic.
After our brush with the "country" we headed up to GZ, geo-hubby bravely headed into the overgrowth until I walked a little back down the road and called out up here. Yep I had found the easier way in.
On the way back out we again stopped to let the drovers head back home, traded waves and headed on our respective ways.
PS. We are city slickers but both have an affinity for the "bush" and have families in St George & Roma and even Outback number plates. TFTC

Very easy find driving down this great little road. Like driving back in time as I was expecting a horse drawn cart coming at me around every bend in the road. Indeed it is just two blocks out in the sticks.
Wow, what a lovely drive to GZ. Thanks so much for placing this cache. When I stopped, there wasn’t a sound to be heard. Signed the log and sat for a while listening to the nothing [^]. As I walked back to the van, I heard one, lonely crow calling, way off in the distance. This is the kind of place I could easily live in. By the way, I saw some of those ground-dwelling birds you mentioned in the description. I think they were quails, but without the expertise of Mrs Lat&Long, I am only guessing. Pity really, as she would have loved this little drive.
Yes, that's definitely a concrete block that isn't going anywhere in a hurry. A lovely rural setting here with some not so lovely rural smells! That's the country for you. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We made our way to GZ enjoying the scenery along the way, we park right next to GZ and began the hunt. Kab was slightly scared to check to obvious spot, but never fear Captain Terror was there to secure the smilie.

We had our suspicions as to wat we would find at GZ and after a lovely drive down the (thankfully marked) dirt road through the beautiful Illinbah Valley Gaz'n'Kab and I arrived near GZ. After Kab got out and failed to find the cache, I bailed out and had it in hand in no time. Not sure how they've found 1300 caches to be honest Signed log and back to the paved road for some more caches in a top part of the world. TFTC.
The first time I had been out this way was to do some work at a customer's house back in the early 2000's. The beauty of the area never ceases to amaze me.
Thankfully no muggles were about today as I hunted for this one. I found it after a small hunt. I picked up a trackable and dropped one in. The cache was in good condition. Congratulations (again ) to Aussie Liahona on getting the FTF. TFTC bristracker

I had a late sleep in this morning and when I finally got up I saw this cache was published. Phew! No log yet. Jump into some clothes and shoot off without any real idea where I was going. I hadn't even taken the time to see where it was. Just put the co-ords into the TomTom and off I went. Wow! Did I enjoy this drive. I absolutely love roads like this. Thanks for bringing me out here Bristracker. I'm posting some photos for others to enjoy and to lure others to the cache. As the road narrows a little I saw I was getting close. I got a wonderful cache welcome from a friendly cow that was loose on the road. As I got out to locate the cache a kangaroo hopped past me. How fantastic! Opened up the cache and found I was FTF at 9:52am. A nice sized cache enabling me to leave a couple of trackables for the next to find.
