Found on Australia day geocaching trip with LexiRover. TFTC. Log in good condition
Dropped off a travel bug today!
Little Ted has been on a longer journey with us than intended, needing to stop our travels to address some health issues he spent some time sitting lonely in our car
Back on the road so we thought we'd drop him off for someone else to pass on.
Thanks for the cache!!

A quick and easy find for me this time but the resident spiders were in full protection mode and made extraction a little scary.
The Trip
I think the stars have finally aligned for a two night trip, caching and camping along the Great Dividing Range. It seems that every time i have planned a caching trip in the last six months something has come up to thwart my plans or cut my trip short. I have high hopes that this week it will be perfect.
I started at Moorabool Reservoir and will be collecting caches from there in the direction of Riddells Creek although i have a lot to find so am unlikely to make it that far. The weather is glorious and there is a cool lilt in the air which makes for a pleasant change from home, and the shady forests are vibrant.
Champagne caching!

Cute little box, plenty of treasures in it (but no pen, so must bring your own), we took something and left one in it. Thanks for the cache
Hammered the gardening yesterday so today went out to play. Still not warm enough for my liking. Scooted around Blackwood. Then filled some bottles with fizzy spring water on the way back.
Easy find, had to fight thru the cobwebs to extract the cache

A quick stop on our way back to Melbourne after spending the week end in Daylesford visiting family. TFTC.
Thanks for bringing me here today. It's a cool morning, but I wouldn't be put off. SL. TN. LN. All good at the cache.
Chook went hiking around Blackwood today with her good friend Wendy and Izzy the kelpie. We walked from the Mineral Springs Reserve up to and around Shaws Lake, then beyond up the heavily mined gullies of Hard Hills, then back down via the steep and rocky Moonlight Gully, then along the spectacular narrow water-race Lerderderg track to Golden Point, crossing the river and finally finding our way back along the riverbank. A fantastic half-day's walk.
Reckon we might have spotted a group from BSS at the Reserve when we returned, as the car was parked next to ours, but we didn't get the chance to say hi.
After enjoying a late lunch at a local business, this was one of the caches found on the way home. A quick park and grab. TFTC Wacky the Wombat and BSS.

We found this one by accident while out on a walk. Thanks to Blackwood Special School as it has encouraged us to go and explore the world of geocaching! We will definitely be looking for the others around Blackwood and surrounds.

Don't know whats going on with our logging at the moment, the finds never seem to process went we are out ? Any ways picked this one up with the younger wing of the Clan as we entered into Blackwood for our holiday near by. Very fresh morning but Geo-Emma and Dan had no trouble getting their hands onto the cache and kindly handed on the log book for me to sign. Thanks Wacky The Wombat for the hide in a lovey area
We have tried before to find this cache, but I was a few years ago, now we search with cache knowledge, found easily this time
I definitely should have planned my day out better but kind of just wanted to see where the day would take me. When I got to Blackwood I realised my mistake as I had not downloaded the cache maps beforehand and there was no reception. Managed to find this one but will have to come back for most of the others. It was a fun caching day today along with goingplaces2. We found some traditional caches, did some multi caches as well as some earthcaches. It was a good day and this was one of the caches that we found. TFTC.
Easy fun find! The pencil was broken so I’m gonna brag a bit: we sharpened it. You’re welcome Thank you =(^.^)=
