06-Apr-24
Out with axell33 to tidy this part of our map up. On a warmer feeling day than anticipated, we kept on and made it here after having been on the coast side earlier, but we did move the car instead of walking the whole way! So our last one and a better looking map for today, this one was a quick find and in good condition. Oh boy, feeling it out here today! Thanks for the history and hide here.

In the area putting smileys on a few. We walked past one we found in 2015 on our way to this one, so we have definitely dragged this series out. Once at gz Leega hit on the right spot in the first place she looked. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. Its always good to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile and happy to say that this one is all good. TFTC Keego and Chil and Allied Pranksters.

A little bit of expansion of the search area and Monkeywand claimed the find. After a week off Tuesday night caching with I C Nothing and Monkeywand was back on the table with the mission for the evening collecting the last caches available in the Henderson bushland.Started off down the southern end of the reserve before making our way to our second stop and finishing off the northern caches we missed a couple of weeks back.By the time I headed for home I had 12 finds and 0 DNFs. Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing K & C 048 - Pioneers - CY O'Connor for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 21:08 on 12/9/2023.This is find number 7642 for me.

Little detour on my circuit to collect the Chiyoda Line Series today, ventured out here on a lovely winters day with no rain forecast until this afternoon.

Found 33 caches and only 2 DNFs so happy days. Happy to clean up a few more in this lovely area, no rubbish, lots of birds, wildflowers starting to come out, strangely did not see a single person all afternoon.

Previous logs helped on this one, log was full and wet so dried out and replaced!

Thanks for the cache Keego and Chil and Allied Pranksters! Smile

An easy one. Prior logs gave it away but there is really nowhere else to look. Thanks to the COs for the cache.

18-May-21
We have travelled from Portland Victoria across to WA to see our daughter.

We are the victims of what we have now learned was unleaded petrol being added to the diesel tanks at Eucla. Many vehicles broke down across the Nullabor and we were one of the early ones.
As a result our car has been towed to Perth (from Cocklebiddy via Norseman and then Kalgoorlie)

While we wait. and wait. and wait for our car to be fixed we are staying with our daughter in Beeliar. Today we headed out on the bikes to visit the pioneer series. Beautiful day and park to be riding in.
Thanks for showing us this part of the world Keego_and_Chil

We loved this one and all was in great shape here. Reading the logs was interesting. Amazing how long some of these have been running for and how infrequently they're being found these days. Love the longevity here and no doubt with a bit of luck it's got many years left in it.

Decided that today was finally going to be the day that I got out the mountain bike and headed through this bit of bushland collecting caches. I parked near GC4MB50 and headed in. When I got to GZ, I wasn't sure if I was in the right place, but after a quick search, uncovered the well hidden cache. The outer container was a little wet, but no moisture inside the actual container. TFTC.

An RDO today along with some great weather saw me dusting off the mountain bike to turn some of these icons into smileys. I really enjoyed this area and there was a great variety of caches (with some very clever camos) and hiding spots, not many muggles either! Too many flies though Sad
I spent about two and a half hours total here and only had 2 DNF's. TFTC Keego and Chil

[:(!] Went for a caching run for the day, after doing the Periodic Table run, we then continued on our caching run once again and we decided to give this series a go, parked the geocar at the Henderson Cliffs car park and I rode the geobike from there and the geowife then picked me up at the corner of Cockburn Road and Success Way, on arrival at GZ and within minutes I had the cache in hand.

Back in the area today, I was determined to turn this one into a smilie Wink A previous finder had confirmed my suspicions of what I was looking for but I was unable to spot it... Shortly after arriving at GZ I found the container although the camo was completely covered in more camo Razz

TFTC Keego_and_Chil. Great hide and so very happy to cross this one off [^]

09-Jan-13
By now Master 3 was getting a tad cranky, but I told him I would find one more before we headed back to the car Surprised I searched and searched and looked at every object I could see around GZ, some objects I searched more than once but I was unable to spot the cache today Sad

I was going to return after doing the rest at the northern end but after spotting a nearby publishing my plans changed and I will leave those for another day Big Grin TFTH Keego_and_Chil.

Found @ 13:45.

Thought I would try to get all the caches around Beeliar Park today. This was find #14!

Being new here, it is good to find out a bit about the history of the area.

Good hide - nearly dismissed it, but there were few other places to hide a cache!

TFTC!

10-Nov-12
Found this one after attending the numbers event in Rockingham. Something the CO said to me on the phone earlier made me approach this one with trepidation, expecting something evil here. But we managed to find it after a short search. Thanks Keego and Chil

I have enjoyed reading the history of our Pioneers. Thanks for your research, we too often fly by these areas without a second thought of who or what came before us.

08-Sep-12
A beautiful sunny afternoon so we decided we would return to this area to finish off this series which we started in June but ran out of daylight as we spent too long searching for Pioneers Mahogany (which is still a DNF Sad ). Walked in from the car park at the southern end and the wild flowers are starting to bloom, so was a very pleasant walk.

Cache was quickly discovered and log signed. As previously reported the lid is cracked but the log is dry.

Thanks for the cache and the series Keego and Chil [^].
