Im here in Australia visiting from the US. Decided to venture to the Blue Mountains today and Scenic World. Getting closer to Scenic World and stopped for this traditional cache. Dropped off two TBs, a couple of Going Caching trading cards and two pathtags.

#21019 - 5:13:00 PM; Arrived in the Blue Mountains last night with the geohoney for a couple of days of R&R. After a spot of caching around Leura, we set off for the Norman Lindsay Gallery in Faulconbridge. We were rather disappointed to find that the cafe was closed as we had been planning a visit for a while. Oh well! As we set sail back towards Leura, via Springwood, I managed to collect a few caches, including this one, which was the last stop for the day. Dropped a TB which I had collected from Mingo, the oldest surviving cache, earlier in the year to continue its travels. All in good order and replaced as found once I signed/stamped the log. Greetings from Wales.After a few days in Sydney we have moved onto the Blue Mountains but blimey it ain't half cold up here. Today we first visited Echo Point and then spent the day at the Scenic Railway which was really good fun.After a day at the Scenic Railway the family went for a poke about in Leura while I went to grab a few extra caches. A quick grab of the cache but smaller than expected so unable to drop off the TB I'd brought from Wales. Thanks for the smiley.

Found with Portstevo on our BM adventure, passing through Leura on our way home, had stopped yesterday to visit the shops after our visit to scenic world. This was an easy grab for Portstevo but alas no TBs today. At least we each grabbed one near the sisters to take east. Tftc

Looked in all the books and crannies in every tree here, no sign of the cache I'm afraid...

Disappointed to log a dnf. Asked my daughter multiple times to look for it but pretty sure she had other intentions and though we stayed here overnight, I still forgot to search for it myself. Dang

On way down the highway, a little detour to visit this TB hotel. Planned to drop off one of these TBs - Canadian Flag and Swiss Duck, and grab one waiting trackable.However this TB Istiompax Indica is gone, not retrieved for onward travels. Both TBs CF & SD opted for another cache soon to get off.

Greetings from Las Vegas Nevada USA! We came because the inventory said it had a trackable I wanted to take home to move forward. No trackable, someone removed it and didn't log it was removed. Guy in a truck close by, hope he doesn't muggle it after we leave.

Back to where I found my very first ever geocache. It was a different container, but this was where the obsession began.

Stopped for a quick find, and Brew exclaimed "I've found this! This was my first cache find ever!!". How nostalgic. TFTC pjmpjm

Eventually found. Container empty. Added a new log book in a bag and put camouflage tape on container to blend in better.

It was completely covered by debris initially. Disappointed to find it completely empty.

Well I found it in so far as I could see it - but shorty me on a solo visit could not in any way obtain it.

This is a beautiful and busy little spot. Had to wait for people to leave. I did wish I were a bit taller but managed to grab it. Once again you’ve reminded me of school days. But this time Korowal at the Scott Ave site. Dropped off a TB before we head back to QLD tomorrow. TFTC pjmpjm.

Two new-ish ALs lured me to Katoomba today but you can't come to town without grabbing a few normal caches as well.

A straightforward find here ... the log sheet is, however, getting a bit cungy thanks to dampness and could do with being replaced. Still singable though.

Easy find! Happened to be right on the ground. Hid it in a reasonably easy place.

I came here earlier to find a family taking several photos of themselves in this park. Not sure why they thought this park was so special but anyway, I came back a few hours later and I had the place to myself. Then found the cache after a short search!

I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only 3 months behind.

To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...

In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!

But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.

Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.

Headed up to Leura with the Geowife for a day out. Pity the weather kept threatening rain - which it did while we were having lunch at our favourite Leura cafe. Is it just me or is the lolly shop a shadow of its former self?

Found it after a few minutes. No log, so I added a couple of pieces of paper.

In the blue mountains with BarberBlackSheep for my birthday weekend and we decided to grab some smilies nearby. Got to GZ, found the likely spot so as I went to retrieve a tool I looked and could see the cache from afar, however, it was completely empty, no log or any TBs.

A late afternoon cache run in the Blue Mountains picking up some previously unfound caches, particularly focussing on tree climbing attribute and regular-sized caches to boost our find for several challenge caches we are currently working on. Yep. This one was indeed muggled. Replaced with a new cache, in the same location.

I arrived at GZ this afternoon to find the cache container outside its hiding placed. It was completely empty and wet. Dried everything out and replaced log. Sadly, all TBs and GCs have disappeared.

We found it but been damage or ransackled. Put it back where we found it. Hopefully it can get fixed soon

Last cache of the weekend and being able to sit in the park and reflect on our adventures before heading home was lovely. Cleaned out some of the rubbish, visited my TBs, replaced and were on our way.

This park is adorable, you could sit here and watch the cars go by and many would not know it’s there. I thought the cache was a bit obvious but it seems to be by design. No TBs when we got to it (did a little clean out and removed some useless crap) but I did leave a TB for the next person!
