Logs
After reading earlier logs I waited for new year break when everything is closed. Easy to find when no one is around. TFTC
Re-visited this one tonight with VRT46 as we were sure the Cafè would be closed. Looked and found exactly where we thought it would be. TFTC.
VRT46 and I thought we were playing it safe at 8pm, however there were still too many muggles around the cafe, we moved on to leave this one for another day.
Some people said it took a lot of time, but it was only a matter of seconds before I figured this one out. I was lucky to come at a time when the cafe was closed, but stealth may be needed depending on the time of the day. My hint to anyone would be to find the rainbow, then look closely to find the ‘gold’. Happy Geocatching Also, quick thanks to WMG187 for the trackable!
Took a lot of time. Came at the day time but too many people around. Found it that night. TFTC
Picking up grandson from work. Can't go past a cache now!

A bit exciting to find one that hasn't been found for a year! Definitely good to be here on a Sunday. Thanks for the colour clue which was helpful. 3rd find this morning
I couldn't really search as there were too many muggles sitting at the cafe with a direct line of sight.
Instead, I had brekky at the cafe before moving on. I recommend the fruit and nut sourdough.
I'll be back

Nice quick find here! Glad the nearby business' were closed or that could have been a bit awkward!! TFTC, a very clever urban hide
Mr Nelson found this one, whatta smart lad he is. Kano did some solid searching in all the wrong places. TFTC
Excited to find this one! This was our first attempt at finding a cache since moving to Brisbane and the first in many years. I must admit this one had us a little stumped and the compass was bouncing all over the place. It kept wanting to take us to the middle green strip in the road and then back across the road. The clue didn't seem obvious to us, but made sense once we found it. Happy that my partner found this one! My hint would be look more for the green and purple...as the orange wasn't too obvious in the colder months.
Bit of bouncing around with the coords. Clue helps when you take a step back. Hint lid is not a rainbow. Tftc
GPS spot on and had a bit of help as the "lid" was in view, returned to sealed position. In Brisbane for a few business meetings and staying with a mate in Norman Park, up early so thought I would grab a few local caches. Wondered a bit to get the GPS to settle and then saw the cache. Log book is good, signed and sealed. TFTC
Great cache and was great to find after a couple of failed attempts of nearby caches. Thank you!
TFTC. We were unable to find it the first time around but later we came back and got it easily.
A couple of days in Brisbane house sitting and ttoday I decided to get out and find a few local caches. I lived in Brisbane for many years before moving a little further north and I never knew some of these parks and walking trails existed. A very pleasnat day with a little bush bashing thrown in. Tftc geckomaster62
I had a couple of hours to spare between dropping off and picking up a young friend today, and what else is there to do but go caching
I quite enjoyed my tour of this area today, and it's always fun to get some more gm62 caches done [^] The hint here had me chuckling, but I had to look at both ends to make the find. TFTC, geckomaster62.

Found it! Hint worked really well as GPS said we were 12 meters from actual spot! We would never have found it relying on GPS.
Dd a little bit of caching with Genyo today a d he suggested we have a look for this cache as he's had trouble finding it in the past. After a little bit of searching we had the cache in hand and Genyo asking himself how he had missed it previously.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Walking along in between the muggles going past we found it.
Tftc great hide. Found with sweatyyetinz

Locating GZ was easy but the find was proving difficult. As is becoming typical of us, Persimoirre found it in a place I had thoroughly searched several times.
No luck today. I searched for a while. Wasn't sure what the hint meant - but considering everyone else so far has been able to find it quickly I'm not sure what I was missing. Will keep an eye on it and head back again soon.
Tftc, grabbed it as i walked past nd put it back once duties had been seen to. All is well here.
I parked nearby and came to look for this one with extreme stealth.
Angled in and grabbed it and took away to sign.
Returned it to its spot in between muggles.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks geckomaster62 All good with this cache

I had a rare opportunity last night for some caching time with old mate rosenstingel. So I left Mrs Meerkat at home with a chick flick and headed out to gecko territory.
Not sure about Gary, but we did meet Chris. He was setting in for a night of cooking in a tiny little kitchen. I could not imagine single handedly catering for people in such a fashion. Got to admire entrepreneurs.
Was blown away to find my own brothers name in the log on the same day! Wow. We live on opposite sides of the city but converge on the gecko trail on the same day. TFTC

Tftc. Bought coffee from next door. Okay but a little too flowery for my palette. Lingua-file
Out and about on a beautiful day, caching with Couchmen and two of my kiddies in the Brisbane area. Did some walking, and some of the Gecko series. Some great hides found for the day. My thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches. Appologies for the late logs, doing some heavy duty catching up.....

Out today with Blacklegend and 2 of his children on a perfect caching day.
We had just finished finding the caches up the top of the Belmont Reserve and some along Old Cleveland Rd when we decided to change our original plan and head north instead.
It was a real surprise when I saw the area we were heading into as I had just been here the other day while some of the family were in town.
I had no idea we were this far north but it was nice to come back and try and finish off more of the area.
The kids stayed in the car again as we were able to park only metres from GZ.
Blacklegend came up with the prize while I was searching in vain, I wish I had read the hint clearer, oh well a find is a find and a smiley of course!!!
Thanks GeckoMaster TFTC SL TNLN

It is appreciated when a person puts out so many great caches to keep the hunters happy. TFTC
Back on the Gecko Trail
Think I might have to look again for this one, I think I missed it.

Had a day off work so decided to spend it Geocaching in the Norman Park/Seven Hills area. For most of the day I felt as though there'd been an apocalypse and I was the only person left alive on Earth, it was so quiet. No Muggles, perfect for Geocaching.
I was really lost with this one, and the clue had me stumped too. Will have to try this one again.

The GPS was already tired, so he was indicating weird stuff...But we stopped to think of the best place in the area where you could put a cache. And we finally found it. We tried to figure out a reasonable explanation for the hint...

Missed this one last time, quick find this time. Lovely day for it, nobody around. TFTC.
I had some spare time this morning to get to a few caches in this area. Managed to do a few of the 'gecko trail' caches. This was the seventh one I came to. Nicely hidden too. Lucky for me I spotted something lurking that looked just a little bit out of place. Still not sure if I get the hint though? TFTC, Biggles.
Very good camo indeed, you would need a torch to find this at night. Found in perfect condition.
Back on the Gecko trail - this was our fourth find. Seems to be some discussion in the logs regarding the accuracy of the coordinates - we had GZ within a couple of meters which seems to be well within the current limits of accuracy. Once at GZ the cache could only be in one place and was quickly found. All in good shape. Number eight for the day.
TFTC.
