This one took us a little while to find, originally thinking that we needed to pop our hands down a rather deep hole... We were just overthinking it a little bit! Thanks for the hide.

Waitangi Day. On a road trip and heading toward Tongariro National Park. The plan is to visit the Chateau and Tangiwai, but secretly I have cache business.
This hide had us a little bit confused at first as we tried to apply the hint. Eventually, Mum did what she does best; she found the cache hidden exactly as described. TFTC.

NO, actually the cache shouldn't be under that pile of rocks! Cache is still there where it should be. Pile of rocks was probably hiding something unmentionable and has now been removed.

Followed directions from the pics, found a pile of rocks which should have had a cache under it but no container to be seen for me today hope i just missed it and it's still there?!
First break on trip to Wellington. Repay your visits to my caches. TFTC. ps Have a nice XMas P&P.
We have GPS device but not a smart phone so we could not remember what the photo looked like. Found it eventually, obviously beginners not able to keep up with the quick find brigade.
We found this cache while our 3,5-week journey through New Zealand. What an amazing country. Sorry for this short log, but time is short and we would see so more things. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Germany. AchSu
We found SKIWI but the cache was very good hidden. Finally everything was clear and we were able to log.

While motorhoming around New Zealand, we passed thru here on our way to Taupo. Cold and wet today, so this was a quick park and grab. Deciding which kiwi hole was the problem.
Found after a weekend on whakapapa doing an Alpine awareness course. Great course and a good way to end the trip. TFTC
11992... Skiwi pass for a quick find, found on our way south, great views from here, TFTC.
Wanted to put a cache here years ago, but too far from home...so glad to see P&P have
The sign certainly has gone through different stages of decor over time .
Was fooled at 1st by a bit of a red herring and thought it could have been muggled, so searched a bit further only to finally trust the GPS (spot on!)and return to the original spot to take a better look, and yes- there it was TFTC!

Found it easily on second pass by - was just blind in pouring rain and freezing cold earlier in the day! TFTC TNLN Sorry for late logging, but catching up on some saved logs after hectic time. Cheers

Unfortunately it has been raining a lot.

Mostly easy find, but we also found lots of rocks and other great places it could be hidden. Me and the kids picked up half a big black bag of rubbish. Rubbish makes me mad...

Another the wife couldn't find, but daughter had it in hand. Sped past the spot initially, had to turn around and the sign was quickly spotted
What a fun little hide. Had the prize in hand only after a few minutes. Signed the log and left a brand new Tribal Cross TB to start its world wide tour.

I arrived in New Zealand for the first time yesterday. For a crazy 3 days of caching.
A friend, stairman, and I found a few yesterday on our way south as we had a particular cache in mind for this week-end.
Goal achieved and now to find quite a few more to find. [^]
Love the countryside.
Thanks for the cache.

We pulled up behind a vehicle and felt sure it was a fellow cacher. If it was, they didn't sign the log, so I guess they were photographing a somewhat murky and cloud-covered volcanic landscape. The tops of the mountains are visible but cloud obscures the lower slopes. Looks quite bizarre. TFTC

It's not too cold at this time of year, so skiwi didn't have his (her?) scarf and woolly hat on today. Felt a bit conspicuous grovelling around on the ground with traffic roaring past. Luckily traffic was fairly sparse. TNLN TFTC
Nice little trick with a few other placements took tb to keep his journey alive. TFTC
A few moments search in widening circles soon revealed the prize. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2162)
Goldielover and I stopped here this morning on our way up the mountain but never thought about the cache. After a big day up there we stopped here again to find the cache. After a couple of false starts we managed a find. Cache in great condition.

Found with stairman1 while on our holidays. We took some photos of the mountain this morning but didn't realise there was a cache right here . We came back this afternoon and after a few red herrings stairman1 located the container. Log is nice and dry. Signed our names and placed a tb we had brought over from Australia. Thanks Punga & Paua.
We were heading South accompanied by FMZ to undertake some jet boating on the Whanganui River and decided to take a small detour to find this. As it was late at night we had no problems with passing traffic and it was a reasonably quick find. Cache was dry and in good order. The logging of this find is a little delayed as we thought that we had already logged it but is turns out there is another cache with the same name. TFTC.
Nice find on a bit of a geocaching trip to the north.
Great weather and some good caches

A great find. Often driven passed but not had time to stop. Today was the day and nearly gave up but geo husband said lets give it more time and searched more thoroughly where the GPS indicated and soon found the cache. Was distracted by a hole and rocks near the sign that looked like the perfect spot!

Out for a bit of Xmas Day caching. Took a bit of searching in the wrong spot before spotting the cache in the super obvious spot, so no problems with the hide at all. TFTC!!!
Hmmm... without the additional hint on my Garmin it wasn´t that easy... tomorrow a new chance... but when I interpret the hint right, is the terrain val not too low???

Pretty easy park and grab. Cache was in good condition despite the battering it probably got over winter.
Found it. Since I live in snow country in the USA, I really enjoyed Ollie! Took a pic of the sign which I can't wait to show my friends back home.....know they'll love it!
Thanks for a fun cache!

Nice driveby cache. Awesome day to be out.
Nice driveby cache. Awesome day to be out.
Dark by the time we got this one and everyone had gone home. We had been tramping for the day as it looked the better option than to go skiing considering the weather.
No one stopped this time and interrupted my efforts and a quick and easy find at -1 degrees. Normally a great view here but too much cloud this morning. TFTC
