### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there Splad_,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

I had been planning to do these suburban T5s for over 5 years. This week I finally got around to it when anikano booked it in and I took advantage of the opportunity. It was an enjoyable afternoon outing where we found the bulk of the series while caching into the evening.
Unfortunately a DNF here on our second cache.
Thanks anyway Splad_.

No luck here today - I would be fairly certain this one has gone. I found a fishing line loose in the log, possibly a sign of a muggled cache.
We searched in the obvious spot, then searched in the not so obvious spots and were unsuccessful today.
Thanks anyway Splad. I’ll keep an eye out on this one.

Still there and in alright condition but you might want to fix it up a bit cause a little rusty and wet

Out with the geokids on a warm Melbourne afternoon. We definitely do not have water capabilities but we thought we go check this one out. We arrived at GZ, we found the tree, we found the hollow but we found no cache. I looked around a bit trying my best not to fall into the water but had no luck. Maybe next time.
Thanks for placing this one Splad.

Been wanting to do this series for a long time but hadn't gotten around to it. Today I fixed that. Spent a bit of time looking around the tree and then got the torch out to check a few hidey holes. Ended up catching a small glimpse of something - a few spiders seemed to have taken this one hostage. TFTC
Not sure why but I missed this one. Wasn't sure if I needed to exit the yak or not. Next time...
With 2 canoes and 2 blow up rafts, not everyone was able to get on the water, but with the wind starting to pick up and carefully watching the rain clouds, there wasn't too much of an argument of who was in which watercraft. Our daughter was struggling to work out how to get her raft moving, but luckily I was prepared and I tied her boat to my canoe. Then we were off.
Our son got to this one first, but wasn't prepared for the wind drift and completely missed it. With his younger sister getting closer with my help, he quickly rowed into the shore and along the shore, and climbed down the log. He quickly started looking in different places, but our daughter from the water found it in a place that he had already been too.
Log file past to me and signed as best I could with the paper a little bit wet. Returned in to the same place and with out son jumping back into his canoe and we are off to the next cache.
Thanks for the cache Splad

This was my eighteenth find of the series. Believe or not after finding over 250 caches this was the first time I had used a tool to retrieve a cache. Clearly I either team up too much and I'm always the lazy one or I dislike micro's. I liked this one though!
The GeoYak series took a lot of strength and stamina to complete in one day (not including the night cache) but thanks to BeckNMonts experience we were able to power through them one by one. Thanks for bringing me out to this area and getting me on/in the water. TFTC!

A holy tree indeed. Maybe we should decorate it for Christmas. The locals might like it! TFTC Splad_
Found the tree, found the hole, found the cache. Thanks Splad, found with gmj3191 today.

A nice warm day today, and perfect conditions to finish off the last ten GeoYak caches with Tania (McLookers). We planned to start at noon, and sought permission from the CO to replace any missing ones, although we thought only # 13 was missing.
A quick paddle across to the north side of the featured lake, past the first water spout, and a quick find here. This one had been replaced by the previous searchers, BendSinister and BuhFuhGuh after a string of DNFs and had been missing in February.
One more to go.

Second find of the trip and this was one that was almost certainly missing from the series. But nonetheless both Bendsinister and I searched diligently on the off chance that it was still there. Sadly the cache was nowhere to be found so Bendsinister was kind enough to donate a bison tube to this cache with the owner permission. Off to a great start it seems haha. Luckily enough the chances only grew from here. Thanks for the cache and the little paddle.

There seems little doubt this one was entirely missing. This second stop with buhfuhguh would have yielded a DNF if buhfuhguh hadn't sought permission to perform maintenance. I donated another new bison tube to the cause and we installed it from the watery end of the tree. There's definitely something to sign there now, but it's surely the cache most prone to tampering. Thanks Spladem!
We stopped at the location for a quick look, just in case...and nope no luck. Didn't find for us.
Out for a bit of a paddle today to pick up a few caches here. No problems getting this one from the water - nice and easy.
My thanks to Spladem for the cache.

So if you want to go find some caches but the weather forecast is for a nasty 42deg what do you do? That's right, you grab the kayak and head for the GeoYak series. It was hard work with the relentless sun and wind but luckily we had some rain come through during the afternoon. All of the caches were found with good co-ordinates and accurate hints.
With the prior permission of the CO we came prepared and did some maintenance here after finding the wire.
Thanks Spladem

I found the string and the hiding spot, but wasn't willing to part with my spare bison tube as the spot was so exposed and most likely to have muggles ripping it out in little time.

I was up at the crack of dawn today to make my way over to this side of the bay to grab a few caches and complete the Geo Yak series. I had a great day out even with the ordinary weather. I was lucky with no wind after a windy day was forecast. A little rain around early in the morning. This series was interesting to do. Some great hides, some nice spots but it also needs a huge amount of maintenance. A few logs wet and a few containers missing. Over all a fun day. Stamped and returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache and series, Spladem [^]
Log and container in good condition.

Continued paddling to this cache. Cache was in good condition and truly enjoyed caching this way. The sun was hot and I was thankful for the sunscreen. Was still trying to work out how to paddle but was getting the hang of it. TFTC spladem.

The LARV YAK crew(N0W0RRIES, OZ HOCKEY CHICK, 88ANDY88, LUKIE1987, ROBINYANG, VANESSA&AODH) where here to hit the waterways series had a ball got burnt and wind burn ended up wet and nearly capsizing but we made it half way there and we will be back to finish this series off in the near future. TFTC And for the fun.
The LARV YAK quickly found this cache (although I was some way behind, trying to learn how to steer the inflatable mattress, I mean kayak, I was on). OzHockeyChick tried to induce lukie1987 to have a good look at the concrete platforms in the middle of the water but, unfortunately for Australia's Funniest Home Videos, he didn't bite. Thanks Spladem.
Find #1361
Part 2 of Tarbit versus GeoYak. Had planned a much earlier start but an impromptu job interview got in the way. Got rained on a few times but hardly noticed as I was wet from jumping in and out of the kayak anyway. This was my ninth of 10 finds in the series today. Had saved this prominent pond for the last few and this was my final stop as it was near to where I had left the car earlier in the day. Spotted the cache form the water but as it was windy I landed and made the find from land side. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and for a great series Spladem.

Pprass was down from NSW and was keen to do these, got to say the water was frezzing but we got the whole lot done in a day in the company of Maccamob, we also met up with afew other for a coffee. Thanks Spladem for the cache.
The gloomy overcast weather and the prospect of looming showers meant that there wasn't a muggle in sight.
A little look and I soon spotted what I was hoping to see. With my name added to the log it was all tucked safely back in place for the next lucky finder.
Thanks to spladem for the cache.

Holy hell this was wholey hard to find at start and then we finally holey had the find and the cache in hand after exiting the kayaks and land searching slightly. Was fun and cache was in good condition with low kms on the clock, so to speak

Today, Max (godgoxl) and myself attempted a few of the GeoYak series. I've been waiting to have a crack at these for a very long time, so I was quite happy to hear when Max was able to offer the use of a few geomobiles. We decided to meet at 12pm and give ourselves most of the afternoon to see how we'd go. I honestly didn't know what to expect. I wasn't going to be surprised if we only found a few. The day ended with a tally of 9, which was pretty good considering it was the first time I've had to paddle to find caches. The inflatable yaks did the trick quite nicely. Apart from the wind picking up quite late in the day, it was a pitch-perfect day to be out on the water. A fantastic series, and I will almost certainly be back to finish off what I can in the not too distant future.
This cache was the 2nd of 9 finds for the day.
Again, Max and I decided to attack this one from land just to get an idea of what we would be in for, and make it a quick find.
After slipping the thongs off and doing a few manouevers here and there, we were soon signing the log. Nice one.
Thanks again Adam

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat. We had discussed this series with The Drovers at the Wonthaggi events.
A tentative plan was hatched for today.
With no firm plans and a late night last night a sleepin was on the cards this morning. So sprung when the phone rang and The Drovers were arranging a meet up on the water.
With the plan hatched it was scurry to organise ourselves to be at the meeting point.
hmm seems some can be reached by land. So the 'girls' dropped the boys to attempt a few by land. Only 38degrees today you would think they would have been more keen to do the water stuff [?]
Where we found caches or part caches we attempted to repair them.

We had been looking at this series for some time, and mentioned it to FelixII, at a recent event.
Penciled in a date and we were hoping for a warm day, as we knew we would be getting wet.
Met up with FelixII, at the local coffee shop. After a short discussion, our adventure began.
We decided to do a few that we could reach by land, to get an idea of the hides.
Then we got out our newly acquired inflatable kayak, to complete as many caches as we could.
The water was quite shallow, and the kayak had to be pushed along a few spots.
It was a very hot day with the temperature reaching 38°, but a great day out in the company of friends.
Many thanks for placing this series of caches, Spladem, for us and others to find.

I drove down from Albury this morning with the kayak seated next to me to tackle this series today, and fortunately the Melbourne weather was favourable for me! The entire series took around 4 and a half hours to complete, and although some of the logs were wet, and containers in need of some TLC, this was an enjoyable series to do. Well worth the drive...and paddle!

We had wanted to tackle this series for a while but did not have any suitable vessel. Today we had a window of time and some other equipment plus an inflatable boat so picked the ones we needed for our grid and what was an easier path (shorter paddle in our slow craft). We enjoyed our time on the water and after over night and morning rains had parted it was a pleasant time out on the lakes. We avoided getting wet and stayed warm all day. Some tricky hides as they blended into the surrounds and a few as mentioned in previous logs need some TLC We completed the signing duties and re hid. We will be back to complete the rest of the series. TFTC

Found today while out and about with the Geodog. No one took any notice of us as we wandered around for a bit before finding this cache. Log is full so I squeezed my name down the side. Thanks for the cache Spladem.
After realizing my preparation for quit a few of these series was insufficient ( a boogieboard is not gonna do the trick a draws to much attention!) I focussed on a few that were possible, so was this one!

This turned out to be another bonus cache for the day. I got a call from Team Crackers about a fireworks display and the possibility of a cache on the water.
As a passenger I was given the royal treatment and after Tony did all the work we were handed the log book to sign and all the work was done for myself and Team Crackers.

This cache was unexpected for us as well as after checking out the fireworks barge and doing one last continuity and wireless check Tony offered to take us on a quick detour to try our luck again. This time it was Tony who was determined to find his first cache and he did so we were basically just along for the ride but at least our name is in the log.
Thanks once more Spladem.

Had a great day out today paddling with Jim and Josiey picking up some great caches along the way. Although quite a few in the series need some maintenance.

A quick break for lunch. PantherX, Sando33716 and I have decided that we will chip away at the caches in this series that we can do from land. That said Sando proved to be very skilled at balancing and not going in the drink. A quick find and log, TFT challenge Spladem
Find 870 at 12:00. Today was another opportunity to continue the cache a day streak from the August challenge and this find brings me to 35 in a row. I was out with Big Blank and Sando33716 on our lunch break to make a quick find near work. This was one of the closest ones we thought we'd be able to find quickly and we were pleased to say that it was! It was only a short search before we had the prize and we soon signed the log before heading back to the office. It was a beautiful day outside today... such a pity to be stuck indoors!
Thanks for the cache, Spladem! One day I hope to be able to find the whole series.
