Due to high muggle area I am not able to build a "suitable" hide for the area - Time to let it go
Designed new hide only to find new hide no longer suited to surrounds - council clean-up.
Back to the drawing board for this one.....

Interesting since looking into this one last Oct - it has now gone walk-about.
Have to think of a new hide - replace accordingly

I've looked again and I don't think it's still there. Hope it gets put back soon.
Never like posting a DNF but had to give up eventually on this one. I'm not sure if it's missing or not but will await an update before I head down here again.
Local (and verbal) homeless muggle with tent near the site made it not so friendly a spot today. Pass
No luck today. There were some muggles spray-painting a nice picture of a bilby on the wall-it would be nice to come back to admire the finished work and to have another crack at this cache.
Having avoided the muggles, we found the cache cleverly hidden. A great way to finish the day having been at the farm for the afternoon.
I nice morning to be out caching, which also means a nice morning for muggles. It was hard to have a decent look as the walkers, joggers and cyclists kept coming. Eventually I checked a spot and was relieved to find the cache. TFTC shogun.
seriously, do not be fooled by the hint but also don't follow it too strictly. felt a bit stupid once we actually found it. TFTC!
I returned today, almost a year after my first attempt, and quickly found it. However, I did need to need to be rubbery with the 'stay on the boardwalk' instruction. Tftc.
I looked for this and between the cyclists and runners and walkers and Pokemon go-ers I couldn't find it, so I went and got some other caches, and PAF'd a previous finder who gave me a text message leg-up, and I came back and finally found it - very good hide, and well executed. Did you know that one panel of the metal wall swings out? The things you discover when you do a bit of leaning while waiting for muggles to pass. I saw the farm animals and the bike art, then way up on the bank there's the really good graffiti which bid hard to get a decent picture of with your phone. I rudely climbed on a table to attempt it but my efforts were rather poor.
This one had me. It really had me. I were already on my bike and seconds before leaving when I said to myself: "Nope, you'll get this one. It's going to be the last one for tonight but you are going to sign that logbook no matter what."
Literally 30 seconds later I had it in my hand and I couldn't be more delighted. I guess sometimes you just have to be hard on yourself Great idea and really nice graffiti art, by the way. Enjoyed the whole thing. TftC

Almost had a case of cache blindness! Staying on the boardwalk threw me - cache was eventually in hand. TFTC
Arrived near GZ and needed to wait for a few muggles to pass by. While waiting GPS the settled down and I started a search and within a minute had the cache. SL and replaced. This was a nice idea way to hide a cache. TFTC
We took a good friend with us for this one. He sounded quite excited, but we found it in about five seconds, so I'm not sure he got that much out of it. Of course we had to wait about ten minutes for a break in the stream of muggles, but we soon had it. TFTC
In Melbourne caching for a couple of days. Nice hide had to make a few passes before anything usual stood out. TFTC TNLN
After a beautiful Easter breakfast at Lentil as anything at the abotsford convent we walked down to the river and found this beautifully hidden cache.
Thanks
Thanks
Looks like it used to be attached to something it's no longer attached to. Nice one.
Found it with help from elliemcbelly! Possibly used to be attached to something, however no longer
Had a scout around and a refresh of hints but no luck for us today. Lots or people about hampering our search.
No luck for me this time. Stopped by in the dark after dinner nearby but couldn't spot it. Thanks anyway.
Wasn't able to get it. We were a bit hurried because the GPS didn't have much energy left.
Hopefully next time

A walk along the Yarra and in the gardens of Abbortsford convent.
Took me some time to find the obvious

After finishing off some work meetings not too far from here, I had a couple of hours to spare before I had to head off to the airport so I decided to go and find a few caches. This was the first one I came to. I found a handy parking spot not too far from this cache. Wandered down to GZ and after a bit of a search came up with the goods. Nice hide! TFTC, Biggles.
We've visited other caches on boardwalks, and they have all been underneath the planks or supports. After digging around in the undergrowth for a few minutes, we decided to look higher up, and found what we were looking for. The reaching wand came in handy with this one.

Continuing our expedition along the length of the Yarra River with the crew, today's bike ride being part two.
Such interesting artwork here. Love the bike! Cheers!

On the Yarra Expedition with the gang riding free and loving it caching along the way exploring the amazing sights and places of interest around and near the Yarra River from start to finish with a great bunch of cachers and people with the same interests out journey is continuing :
This was a well constructed cache container that i could see could be very tricky to find but luckily there were a few sets of eyes looking in our group.

Visited this cache as we cycled along the Yarra caching. When I arrived, the first thing I saw was the bicycle chained to a signpost. Looked very cool and admired it before heading to GZ. We ran into one half of Double A's which was very, VERY cool. The hunt for the cache was longer than usual but we quickly had our hands on this very nice hide. It was muggle central here and with 12+ bikes parked and cachers searching, it was crowded. Enjoyed this hide & admired the artwork. TFTC shogun.
Found today as part of the Yarra Expedition - a trip in installments to see the whole Yarra. A beautiful day for us in a group for a cruisy ride and a heap of caches.
A really cool hide along a scenic stretch of the Yarra. Took some time before cache was found - had time for a bite to eat! Thanks for placing this cache.

It's always good to find a cache and a lot off fun to muggle a cacher as she is trying to find the cache. Surprised Miss A of The DoubleA's at this one as 12 of us rolled in on our push bikes.
Great to see you here Ange. I guess that means you attended the event too. [^]
Found as The Yarra Expedition - Pt 2.
A nice hide in an interesting spot.

Found by coincidence... one of the best coincidences in my history of geocaching! (Had a lot of help from my friends).... TFTC
Found as part of the Yarra Expedition Crew, many eyes were looking and then Pete gave a small hint and I soon found the cache, the crew also surprised another cachet trying to look oblivious but we knew from afar exactly what she was doing, nice to meet you great work on the cache here
Quick easy find with team yarra

Today was the day for a long bike ride with a bit of caching thrown in. I got dropped off in Kew then meandered through Abbottsford, Collingwood, the City, along the Yarra then along the Monash through Camberwell then headed home. The weather started out sunny but slowly the skies darkened and there was a slight chill in the air.
After a bit of a hunt I finally got my hands on this one. TFTC.

I found the graffiti wall and stayed on the boardwalk, but I couldn't find the cache. I'll try again later.
Quick check - Hide is dry & in excellent condition.
NOTE: Please return the hide as you found it - please.

Very nice. I'm glad it was winter and that I read some of the other logs. It'd have taken a lot longer otherwise! I nice little find before a great lunch and stroll around the Children's Farm
Nice cache thanks. Can't believe no-one is around at the moment - a Tues afternoon perfect for a brisk walk along the river
We found this cache today at 3:45pm as number 5 of 11 on our Yarra Yark and Yak. We decided to pick up where we had left off from before the event cache. Walked down the hill, found the cache and went for the pen only to find that none were in my pocket so two of us had to walk back to the car. Also enjoyed the nearby bike sculpture. Thanks from D, HA, H & A B-A
Out for a break from work at lunch time with the family during the school holidays. Tftc!
On my way home from a meeting in the city and couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab a cache or two on the way through.
Bypassed this on the way to another cache due to muggles in the area. It was clear on the way back and a much easier find.
Thanks for placing this cache shogun-

#670 4:32pm TFTC... I am sorry for the generic post, but I am MONTHS behind in my logging of caches... and it is becoming quite a stress. I need to churn though my backlog to get back up to date and I will endeavour to log more often in the future.
Found this one today on my lunch time run, didn’t take long to find but when I saw it I was surprised it took even that long. This one is quite exposed now its autumn.
Thanks for the cache!

So. We read the hint. We knew we were looking for a petling. That shouldn't be too hard. Storm79 ventured a bit off and found a brand-new mint-tin, painted, with magnets and a logbook.
Errrrrr ... what?!?
That can't be it. It doesn't match up at all so I searched a bit more and found the preform a bit later. I guess we just scored ourselves a free cache-container
Cheers

For some reason this was not an easy find, not sure if it was the dark but it was pure chance that this was found at all! We had a yummy dinner at the nearby lentil restaurant and so a cache was in order. Thanks for the hunt this evening
Whopps i wrote my log for this cache in another. It took me a few mins and i saw the cache. Getting it while listing to the clue was a bit harder but it eventually was in hand. Then i saw how much easier it all could have been. Cheers
The beautiful weather on this public holiday meant people were out in force. They were enjoying the convent gardens, walking along the river, sitting and soaking in the sun. We had a little hunt here, but after figuring where it must be, it just took commitment to turn up the hide. In between passing muggles the Moose put his hands on it. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
I had a bit of a look for this but it was Sunday morning and there was a muggle a minute whizzing past or strolling past. It could still be there, but it defeated me.
Found with Gunks on Way home from the city.
2nd visit and it took a while to find it, but we got there in the end.
Good cammo.
TFTC.

Second find tonight with geomum. She caught on to the 'natural camo' clue and literally pulled it out of no where. Satisfying find!!
Took a while, sneaky! Quiet day makes it easier. T4TC.

Out for a Saturday ride with the extended geo-family for an assault on the caches of Abbotsford, Collingwood and Fitzroy. Spent 10 minutes around GZ but no joy for us today.
We don't get up to the city very often so couldn't resist finding a few while in the area. We were enjoying our walk along the track beside the river and this was to be our last before heading home. Probably spent half an hour here dodging many, many muggles. Our GPS kept taking us back to one place and even though we were pretty sure of what we were looking for it still refused to show itself. Thanks anyway shogun-
Found during a trip to Melbourne for the week. Tricky hide, luckily found it in the end. Thanks for the cache shogun-!
Suscoe's 7th cache find of today, we were wandering around the inner suburbs trying out our new GPS.
Worked a treat and as we went we found out about the tricks and short cuts.
Well this was a nice hide, the only witness was the horse just over there.
Thanks to shogun for placing this cache, just had to watch out for swiftly approaching cyclists.

After a previous dnf with this one I decided to try my luck again and was pleasantly surprised to find it after a short search, isn't that always the way! A nice hide shogun- in a beaut little area along the river, also plenty of muggles whooshing past making the most of a sunny afternoon. Tftc.
Decided to check in on hide after two straight DNF's - happy… to report all is well & good to go!
Many thx to all finders for maintaining the hide.

Had a couple of looks for this one this arvo without success. I read all the logs and the hint and thought that I should be able to nail it, but not so. I did notice some fresh paint and some empty spray cans behind the wall so maybe the cache has been discovered by the "artists", or maybe I am just not good enough. Thanks to shogun- for the hunt.
Satisfying to find! I've times my visit to Melbourne, as I'm told this is the best two week window to observe the changing colours of the leaves. I wonder how the different seasons impact the visibility of this GC? TFTC!
After attending the nearby event opening the geostuff.com.au store in Thornbury I headed out to find whatever the next road took me to next since I never cache around here and it was all new to me.
I continued my walk along the river to here and while waiting for muggles (a lot!!) and reading logs I finally found it just "hiding" there. Took a lot longer with the muggles though, that will teach me for caching in such a nice area on a weekend.
Thanks shogun- for the cache, the hunt and the fun.
