I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi jmnz
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Found... technically? Found part of the container, which has been placed back at the site. Judging by other logs it's been empty for awhile, I suppose it's a Found and not a DNF? enjoyed the walkway anyway, wouldn't have known about it otherwise!
Easy find however the cache was open and separated and log is missing. Unfortunately don't have supplied on me to replenish. Tftc
#1892. Having had a DNF earlier today, I still needed a cache for my streak, so at 7pm it was off to a part of Newlands I have never been to before.
Nice easy park, walk and find with GB Leader in the cool of the early evening. Tftc jack.marshall.

Made it to the top and made a quick, convenient find! It was a very hot day, not quite as bad as the preceding three but still uncomfortable. Great views from here. Saw a muggle on the way down, glad we missed each other after I finished caching. Tftc!
Trundled down on my feet from the last two successful finds and zeroed in on this cache with minimal difficulty. The rain was a bit uncomfortable and my socks were wet but it was no problem as there were no others around. TFTC
A day caching in and around Wellington. A love day for a walk down this pathway. Easy find here. Thanks jmnz for the cache.
I looked at the caching map and decided to look at picking up the caches on this trail. Started at the top and walked down the easy path. Thanks CO for the cache.
I decided to get out of the house this morning and go for a stroll somewhere I had never been before... so that's how I came to be focusing on this particular one. Once I arrived at GZ it was a nice straightforward find. The cache is holding up well and the log book has been signed. The cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
During a short trip through New Zealand I also visited this cache.
Thank you very much for the cache an greetings from Germany.

Needed a walk today and the recent path works completed makes it a good reason to have a look.
Found without compass or hint as tried the obvious on arrival of GZ.
Cache in good condition.
Thanks to CO for placing.
GLAD to have another smiley

Having checked in at my hotel after a flight from Sydney, I needed to get out and get some fresh air. Parked close to where the track started and walked down to GZ. The weather really made the place stand up to its nickname 'Windy Wellington'.
At GZ, the cache was soon found, neatly stuck in under some natural camouflage.

I approached I was a bit worried that the cache might not be there due to nearby earthworks fortunately the cache location was not part of the the earthworks
Found the cache fairly easily
I'm go down to the Mainland the last time I was here was back in the late 70s visiting my cousin for the school holidays
This time I'm down here to two reasons.
Reason one is to visit a friend who has come up and visited me and Scoria on numerours occasions. Both Scocia and I have said they we both would come down and visit him many times but we never got round to it and now that scoria is marred it is less likely that we well both get down there at the same time to visit our friend. So I decide not to put it off any longer, so I called him up and arrange to come down to the Mainland for a visit.
Reason two is to get geocaches in the following four regions Marlborough, Canterbury, West coast, Tasman and Nelson targeting Mailbox Virtual and trying to get at least one cache that start with the following letter in each of the four mention regions these letter are A E I L O R T V this letters will allow me to finish off the cache The Spelling Challenge #5: New Zealand (Manawatu) GC5GQVY and any other caches that I collect will be a welcome bonus
Thanks for the cache

Tracking down some stolen Rubies lead me here. Had it on good advice that despite the track still being closed it is safe to walk, so headed down tonight. Coordinates were spot on for an easy find TFTC
Final find on a quick wander up the track today. The track surface is very well groomed but given the gradient it is has to see how it is going to avoid becoming rutted over the winter.
The path is closed until approximately May 2019 for construction of a shared pathway https://www.transportprojects.org.nz/current/wakely/construction-details/ I haven't been there but have seen a photo of a closure sign from someone who has. It appears that the series should be disabled - I guess they may need to be archived depending on whether they survive the construction work!
Posting it on this cache page only to save unnecessary repetition on the others affected.

Decided in a bike ride to a few caches - needed all the electric assist going up this track that I've seen but rarely visited.
Not too hard to find.
Dropped a doggy TB.

We had a very pleasant walk along this track which is in an area we have never been before. Thanks for placing a cache here - a quick find. Thanks also for the history.
We were nearby filling in a bit of time before heading to Mrs SoBad's sisters place. Just the right amount of time for a short walk with 2 caches to find. This, of course, was the first.
Thanks for the clear instructions about access and the cache of course.

Quick find on a lovely day for a walk. Log is a bit damp as zip luck bag is ripped. Still ok to sign though. Tftc
Day 2 of my MTB trip around Wellington tracks the Hutt road this morning, then Titahi Bay coastal track and now the skyline track up to the transmission tower and a few more caches what a great day and some great weather and views, thanks for placing all these caches for me to find and places to explore. probles should have taken the bike but decided to walk this track today good chance for a wind down as its been a big day.
Found on the tail end of a walk with the geodog. Easy spotting with hint. Tftc
Bussed to top of this trail with plan to bus/train home from the bottom. Good to walk a new track, thanks jmnz.

Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/)
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.
Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let's all help this a successful event!

We were in the area so thought we'd check out this track. Cache was an easy find, so thought we'd go a bit further and try the next geocache as well. Hopefully we will come back and complete the series sometime.
Found it.
A morning caching to clear the head and enjoy the sun while it lasts.
Planning to knock this series off.

I started early to go look for these top two caches which is just as well as the day deteriorated by mid morning and no one would want to be out in the win d and rain caching ,,,unless they are ,mad...keen..-
Thanks to the very clear hint the cache was quickly found and replaced so i could continue on down to the next cache . thanks for these caches and a couple more smiley faces.

Car parked at the bottom of the track and the other parked at the top so that means it is just down the hill walk to collect the first of many caches . Thanks for the caches. TFTC
First of five caches along this track. Light breezes and sunshine made for a pleasant stroll with a view across the harbour to the Cook Strait. There's just enough uphill on the way back to feel like i've done some exercise. TFTC
Nice cache close to my new home. I will savour this route and pick one cache everytime a run around =D Thanks from Prague =D
Great find, thank you! I had been taking my boys to an organised giant mudslide at the scout hall on adjacent road so this was too close to say no to and thankfully was an easy find. I like these ones which are easy but where people walking past wouldn't even think to look : )
I had time to look for just one cache whilst in the vicinity for work this morning. A quick find. Will come back here with the geohound at some stage to walk this whole track and pick up the other caches. #1038. TFTC.
Last one for the morning. Walked up from the coffe cart at the bottom of the gorge.
A quick find during an enjoyable stroll along the track. Thanks for the cache. I dropped in a trackable.
After catching the train to Johnsonville and walking as far north as Seton Nossiter Park I thought that I would go down here, pick up the bikeway along the shoreline and return to the railway station in town. This track made it all possible in a pleasant way.
Yay!!! Found it with my brother, my first time geocaching and it was a success!!!
Found on a very cold wet night, staying at the nearby motel. Looks like an interesting track, will try to have a look further in daylight
Cache # 2,394 - Having walked the road yesterday, I knew this one would be almost a park and grab, perfect for a morning when I was running a bit late. Almost got muggled by the person in the house on the road, as they were placing their rubbish out just as I pulled up to park across the street (6:20 am). Waited a few minutes for them to drive off, then a quick dash to the cache site, retrieval and signing, replacing, and back to the car. Probably 5 minutes in total. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Last one for today. Thanks for a nice series. Swapped a trinket. Thank you.
