Coordinates changed from:S 28 6.874 E 153 18.635Coordinates changed to:S 28 6.868 E 153 18.625Distance from original: 64.9 feet or 19.8 meters.Adjusted co-ords for a quicker find. Many thanks to previous cacher with help of their co-ords.
Visiting South East Queensland for a week from Port Macquarie. This morning we ventured out towards Springbrook before returning in the early afternoon to do a spot of caching around Robina and then raced over to Currumbin just in time for the afternoon Lorikeet feeding.Detoured down here while coming back down the mountain, yet another stunning outlook towards the city. Also nice to see some Alpacas (or are they Llamas? Can never tell the difference) across the road. Cache was found quickly using another cachers coords. Thanks for the cache
Tftc. I spent couple of minutes at the coordinates and didn't find anything. Then I checked the hint and moved to correct place to sign the logbook. S 28 06.868, E 153 18.625 are at least closer to correct location than the published coordinates.
Headed back towards the low laying areas I turned off for one more set of views

Another DNF finally converted.
Thanks for putting this out there, and for maintaining it despite the best efforts of the local council.
And it is indeed a great view!

Cache is there. completely BRAND NEW ROCK WALL IS THERE. My phone died JUST as I arrived here. Not knowing where the old GZ was coz that has ALL been moved I have placed the cache, on the MIDDLE row, hanging about my head height , on the visible joint you can see that goes through the rock cage, just in from the RIGHT HAND END of this new rock cage barrier. So about 5 feet high and maybe 4 to 5 feet BEFORE the end of the rock wall is where you'll find the cache.
DON'T FORGET TO LOOK AT THE VIEW BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
I will try to see if someone can give me co-ords for where the cache is actually sitting now to help you all out.
Merry Christmas and hope you all have a fabulous 2023!

Just waiting for the work to be completed and we'll enable this one.
Should be ready in the next couple of weeks hopefully.
Should be ready in the next couple of weeks hopefully.
Visited here to see if it would need a new log. Found workmen here very busy who were removing the old rock cages, excavating the hill edge, covering with binding, and rebuilding new sturdier rock cages and filling in the back with rocks and stones to support the hillside.
They thought it should take a month to complete but with another weather rain event due in the near future it could be six weeks or so being realistic.
So for now we are disabling this one and will replace it when the work is completed.

Even with the hint couldn't find anything here. Maybe the spray can artists got it
This was our only DNF for the day... Between smashed glass and porcelain I have to admit we didn't spend a huge amount of time here, even with the very specific hint...
Checked on this one and all is o.k. The views today were stunning!
Cheers and happy caching!

Found with AF BEE while on a geocaching vacation. Thanks for placing this cache.
OCW GeoWench78 and our son and daughter-in-law on this rainy day...views were not the best but we saw a large goat and some alpacas along this side road...TFTC!
Found - still discovering new places on the Coast even though we have lived here 30 odd years!
Thanks me if the best views I’ve seen for a long time. Thanks for bringing me out here. Been a while since thins one was found.
Rocked up here on an outing with the RoddyCs and Patrol14 to find this one. Was a little confused by the hint but once we tried another spot we found it. Noice view all the way to the coast.

After attending the event at Springbrook, we are working our way back down towards the coast. Arrived at GZ and started searching for the cache. Hint sort of helped but located cache further away than first thought. SL then returned as found.
Fantastic views from here!

Out Springbrook way today looking fir some caches. Your cache, Aussie Liahona, is one of them.

We started at the wrong end but reezielou soon had this sneaky hide in hand after we reread the hint! TFTC!
Second visit in two days as the allotment with the stunning views opposite GZ is being cleared. Today I came early as it was raining so I put off the planned gardening tasks to find this one. Would of been hard to find easily without the great hint as it blends in so well. All good with the cache and a favorite point from me for the amazing views of the GC.

Easy find with the description. What a view! Here with HennyGeo on holidays in hot and sunny Australia from Vancouver Island Canada . TFTC.
Fantastic spot up here: peace and fantastic views. I'll have to return at night to see the stars.
I completely misunderstood the hint and looked in the wrong place for 10 minutes, but once I re-read it , it was an easy find. Cache and log are in great condition.

Im usually more than happy with my bi-lo moto-e. It serves the purpose for most anything I need it to do. But this cache was one of those moments when I really, really wished I had a better quality camera on my device.
I didn't know what I was getting into untill I got here, actually. I was initially aiming for the cache at the turnoff but missed it, and when I turned off I realised there was this one further along the road. The geo jeep grunted its way up the incline, and when things flattened out and the trees cleared out opening up the awesome view on my right, o didn't need to check my gps to know this is where that cache must be.
I parked up and for a minute forgot why I'd come up here. I wandered over to the edge and snapped away, trying to capture some kind of image that would do this viewpoint justice. Thanks so much for bringing me up here Aussie Liahona, I most certainly would never come up here otherwise. So glad I did.
Turning my attention to the cache hunt, it turned out the coords were good, but it took me a while to spot the cache, given all the possibilities. Very evil ha-ha making me scour all these hideyholes for such a wee stash.
Cheers to the CO for the fun and of course the view, no doubt one day I'll return with a proper camera

If your standing to close you won't see the bigger picture. Amazing view as well.
Our last find for our day, and what a view. Cache signed & back in its spot. TFTC!
After gazing at the beautiful creatures nearby of llarmas and a donkey and the lovely house, we hunted for this cache and I found it quite quickly.
The view was great too but Surfers Paradise was in a haze today. Could just make out the buildings.

Out caching this morning with my sister and niece (TeamBiffo). All of us hadn't been to Springbrook for many years and we decided this was the best time of year to go there. Left early to try and miss the tourist rush (glad we did as parking at some spots was nearly full!). Had loaded caches on hand GPS and car GPS and proceeded to leave hand GPS at home - not very often I cache with phone but we survived.
One should hint more carefully. As soon as we did the cache was found. TFTC AL.

What a spectacular view from here at night!! So unexpected, so beautiful!! Ill definitely bring my family back just for the view!! Replaced log as it was full, now has a fresh clean sheet good to go. Thanks Aussie Liahona for bringing us here
Out for a nice drive today in the country with the Geo Wife grabbing some smiles as we go (as you do lol). Beautiful area out here, untouched paradise. Thank you for bringing us here. Tftc
TFTC Aussie Liahona! Definitely needed the hint and spotted straight away. Hello GC skyline!
Up from Melbourne to find caches with Robgold. Fabulous view from here. Quick finD. TFTH
Tftc. Great view at night can see the Milky Way on a clear night (like tonight) and if you turn around someone has covered a tree in fairy lights and it looks beautiful
A trip to the Mudgeeraba spice windmill was on the cards for us today and after filling up with goodies we headed down the road toward Springbrook.
As we pulled up and realised what we were up against there was a fair amount of cursing, that is until we read the extremely accurate hint and geo-hubby had this in hand before I had even finished counting.
All good with this one. TFTC.

As we pulled up here today with our GPS playing silly games I groaned and may have said a few unpleasant things about this one. The view is amazing! the cache location was a little tricky. We had been out by about 10m all day with our GPS which ment it made sense to start at the middle and cover the entire wall. I said 5 minutes searching then it will be time to read the clue. After about 1 minute I spotted it and was relieved! I turned and looked out at the view while we logged it. Thanks!
Today was full of surprise spots like this one. Some had an interesting history, some were beautiful places and some had awesome views.
I parked on the side of the road and decided that this was the perfect place to sit and have some morning tea. One look at the rock wall and I was worried that some caffiene would be needed for the hunt too
It was most enjoyable sitting there in the peace and quiet, imagining the bustle of school holidays in the distance.
Eventually I went to look for the cache. I must confess to checking the hint first, so it was a nice quick find

Found on our trip to the Gold Coast for a wedding. Another quick detour from the road to get here. Love the houses up on the hill, they would be very fortunate to have such a good view. The large views of the city were amazing. Carefully read the hint as we approached, with fear that this would take a bugger of a long time. Luckily, we got to the right location and the small little sucker was spotted from the road. Nice hide. TFTC AL (again)!
Went for a big run down to Tweed Caldera area, picking up over 30 for the day. Caching with some of the little kids as is normal for me. Some fantastic caches, including a visit to Heinz Dam, and two earthcaches in total for the day. Visited so very nice scenic spots, had lunch out on the road, and did a bit of walking in fresh air. What else could you ask for... My thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their hides.

On my final day of my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab a final 39 caches for the day. Had a great day with a few hard finds and a few walks. Thanks to all the CO's for their placements, and I apologise for the generic logs but I'm so far behind in my logging. Thanks heaps.
Fab view. Unfortunately quite hazy this morning. I think that an afternoon visit with the sun in the West would be brilliant. I do detest rock walls. My heart was in my mouth as I turned the corner and saw how substantial the wall was. Thanks for such a clear and concise hint. Actually I didn't need it because the coordinates were so accurate.
Another favourite heading your way.

Geo Wife and I had the best part of a whole day free today so I checked the map and thought that Springbrook Rd was a nice area we hadn't attacked yet.
As we approached this one all we could see is the ROCKS!! OH NO!! We just LOVE rocks (Not).
We parked safely and in the shade and walked back hopeing that the Hint would give us the inside edge on finding this sneaky hide.
I walked along checking spot after spot and was just heading back when Geo Wife said "Here It IS!!" in such a Of course it's there Why didn't you see it tone but I was wondering myself why I hadn't seen it but a find is a find and so I congratulated her and adjusted my glasses for the next one.
When we found it our attention was then diverted from the Rocks to the amazing view and it was then that we remembered that the reason you had brought us here was not only for the rocks.
Thanks for the Fantastic View.
Thanks AL TFTC SL

The people who live along this road have the best views ever! A great hide! Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona!
Wow!!! What a view, it would be even better from that awesome looking house above GZ. It's even got a couple of mountain goats out the front.
On approach to the summit an old muggle and his dog were slowly walking up the hill, still 20 or so meters away from GZ so I drove to the end of the road. Waited a little then went back to find them in front of GZ looking at the view. I pulled up, got out and said hello to both. I had my phone in my hand and he said "you might be lucky to get a signal up here". "Yeah I hope so, What a great morning" I said. "Yep, that's why we're out walking aren't we", as he looked at his dog. And with a pull on the lead from the dog he was off. "See ya".
Thank goodness for the hint or otherwise it mite take awhile.

Although when I arrived I was a little distracted by the view, it did not take long to get my attention back onto the cache at hand. Well I saw all the rocks and thigh that I was in some trouble for the time that I had available.
However a quick check of the hint and I was breathing a sigh of relieve with a nice quick find.

Lots of Rocks and a fantastic view. Sometimes these type of caches take ages to find but we found this one straight away. Well I found it while Mrs Dannza was gazing at the large mansion above. Where is the focus Mrs Dannza? TFTC Aussie Liahona
Mr got out of the car and was immediately taken by the view - even though it was somewhat dull and overcast it was quiet impressive, actually so was the house up the hill.
Must admit as soon as we got to the wall we shuffled to the left, then shuffled to the right and back left before deciding to check the hint. The irony was that as soon as we stopped and read it we realized we were standing right in front of the container.
Thanks for the cache. Must come back on a clear day.

This was our favourite location that we visited today. With such a magnificent view, we decided to stop here for lunch. We were also quite intrigued by the interesting house further up the hill. It appeared a little similar to a swiss chalet? Thanks for the cache.
Found while on a road trip with friends from the Manning Valley so we could get a bunch of caches with higher stats than we can get locally. It has helped, so much so that we have placed our own Challenge cache.
Cookie read the laptop for the hint while we clambered around enjoying the view. Wouldn't mind living up there with an even better view.

What a fantastic view! A brilliant place for a cache and we ooh'd and ahh'd appropriately [^]. That house is also gasp worthy. They are some very lucky people! Thanks for the clear hint . Thanks Aussie Liahona
Wow, that's some view! The donkey and goat in the paddock above have certainly got a million dollar vista. Weird how some of the highrises look crooked in the heat. Checkout the nearby Swiss cottage - cute. as for the find, thank goodness for a good hint from AL. Without that we could have been here for a very long time. Great hide. TFTC.
I agree that without the hint I would have been standing there for an awfully long time. I didn't see any donkeys only goats.
What a stunning (and expensive) home! Of course, you'd want nothing less to appreciate the view. The donkeys seemed unimpressed, mind you. Nice work, and without the hint, I expect rather trickier! TFTC, Aussie Liahona. =^.^=
Wow, what a view. Some people live in the most amazing places. I wonder if they are so used to the spectacular view, they don't see it any more. Gonna have to detour up here next trip with Mrs Lat&Long. Sunrise must be a sight to see too. Oh yeah, the cache . That was a quick find at 8:45pm or so. Quickly signed the log so I could have another look at the view .
Found by Mr PPT. Wow the views are fantastic. I wonder who lives in that house. Thanks for the AL

Rocks n Views n Views n Rocks. Whint and Baddal had parked me not far from the cache and I dashed off for the hunt. Something about being the experienced hunter or something. Somehow I had the cache in hand after just a short hunt, so more time to look at that amazing view. All the time I've spent at Springbrook and never been to this spot and seen that. Great spot, thanks for bringing me here, TFTC Aussie Liahona
