Logs
Hmmm this popped up on the Tom Tom.... and sure enough found it. Log is soaked. It is only now that I see, this has been archived. All well and good but then the cache should be removed from the area or it just becomes litter. Please remove an unwanted cache.
A few people in the park made it tricky but I soldiered on. Took a while to spot it. Then the difficulty of retrieving the log. It's very wet and close to being just pulp. Nice park.
Found it after failed attempt at dusk with little to no light. Very wet and unwritable, needs maintenance.
Harder than expected. Very wet and unwritable log. Very exposed position to been observed. TNSL TFTC
After a really long day at work with a frustrating work experience kid, and cancellation with tutoring, I decided to go find this cache. So many children running around this park, yet seemed oblivious to me. Sat under the tree, ready to give up, stood and then saw it immediately. TFTC
4pm. Gave it a fairly good look but was limited by prying eyes from kiddies, mothers, dog walkers and joggers...
Nice place and will return.
Thanks.
Nice place and will return.
Thanks.
Geodad and Geo-Kid-Master-5 headed back (after finding out it had been muggled prior to our 1st attempt)to get this one for the team while Geomum and Geo-Kid-Miss-1 had an afternoon rest. After a quick search and keeping away from some muggle kids geo-kid-master-5 had it in hand. Quickly signed logged and returned. TNLN. TFTC.
TFTC. Our 5th find for the day, we have had a great time. Particularly nice to find this one because we DNF on a look here during the week: thwarted by a group performing tai chi/yoga moves directly at the location. Hard not to look suspicious so after 40 minutes in the bushes we gave up. Today though it was much easier being able to approach from the other side. A good location; not too difficult if you come at it from the correct side. We left a shell retrieved today from 'Salt Pan #3.'
For the first time in a while the team went out caching. Decided to keep it local and this was the first one on the list. Unfortunately a DNF. Would be good to know if it is 'still in play'...
A quick find in the fading light. The log is damp, but usable. Thanks jaybeem.
Found after watching Prometheus nearby, night caching is fun!
No aliens or engineers sighted. A dead bird guards the cache.
Introduced some buds to the game.

This took a lot longer than expected. I had a chuckle when I actually found it. The neighbours must have thought me mad. Cheers.
Nice easy find. Great container. Kids everywhere, but managed to go unnoticed. TFTC.
Very popular park, Kids everywhere. Made find, did duties and made good my escape..SL..TFTC
There so many kids blowing their whistle pops, no one noticed us at all. Quick find .TFTC
TFTC, What a wet day to complete this Cache and visited with a group of trackables.
Found it but the bag and log are quite wet and smelly. Found by Brad, Joe, Nese and Nick!
A nice little street here and a few people wandering around. I signed the log quickly once found and got out of there! TFTC!
A quick find this arvo. No one about thanks to the rain showers thankfully, otherwise I could have felt quite exposed. Quick drive by cache. TFTC
Found with SESBLOCKER. Examined the black umbrella in the bush very closely...aborted that idea and found the cache eventually. Good camo!! Thanks jaybeem!
Now that is a different container.
Found in a nice quiet park in a nice quiet neighbourhood.

Easy find. no GPS needed.TFTC. I turned it sideways as water got got in through the screw hole.
One of the close-to-home caches that have to be cleared eventually which I have been saving for days I need a local one to continue filling the caching calendar.
Easy enough, well designed container, and at least not too visible from the playground (which was enlty today anyway.
Being the middle of the day, the orange vest of invisibilty was deployed, making the risk of muggle interference even less.
GC Find #986, 8 days to go to fill the caching calendar.

A nice quick find.
Was worried about muggles on the play equipment, but in the end this was not an issue!

Tried this one at night on my way home. Had 1% battery left on my phone. Suffice it to say it wasn't enough battery to run my phone torch long enough to find the cache.
A quick find and luckily, being a drizzly day, there were no muggles nearby.

A quick find with Mr H. Thankfully there were no muggles on this drizzly "almost" public holiday.

Hi, I see that it hasn't been found by the last two cachers. I am currently away but will check it on 14 Jan. I am archiving it until then. Sorry, but check back soon!
Found it! Right where I thought it was at first though had to look harder. Saw some fellow geocachers searching at the same spot.
I would call this a 2nd to find though other people have signed the log in the cache and not online.
So 2TF online!

Wohoo! Slinky Skink scores second FTF. Fortunately there were no kiddies playing on the equipment to cause consternation for parents over strangers skulking in the shrubbery! Thanks for the cache Jaybeam.
