Logs
TftcAfter the recent weather, I suppose it wasn't the best day to do some caches along this trail. I parked at the bottom of the slope and walked up to this one. At first I thought I could have driven up here. That was until i got to the bend and part of the track was muddy. It would have been my luck to get bogged.I soon had the cache sign and made my way back to the geomobile
Mr, Mrs & Geodog Coongoola found your cache today today while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC Browngang
Found at 2:39:00 PM

TFTC! CarvDogg25 & ebullen07 found with little brother, Lachie. Haven't Geocached for a while and was stoked to find this one locally.
TFTC, I will be posting a generic log for the 10 caches in this series, A more detailed log will be posted at the final mystery cache. A nice sunny day, thought it a good time to knock over this series.
Just as I was about to turn left .. had to negotiate a"camp site " with 2 bods 1/2 a sleep ,,just waved on keep going... cache all aok..returned waved again ,headed for #6..Thanks Browngang....
A day out to finish this series, the weather was kind to us no rain just hot sun
Another great hide, anyone who hasn't completed this series of caches you need to great drive around a bushy place. TFTC Browngang.

We're still using our phones to track the caches at the moment-and silly me didn't save this to offline so we were hoping for the best when we arrived at GZ. Turns out I didn't need it-when I said to Azmate22 'I think I'm standing on top of it' I looked over to the stump and knew exactly where it was-lo and behold, there it was!
Loving the tracks and being out bush-only crossed paths with one car by this stage and we're pretty sure this car was Geono!
Left a sticker sheet (again!) and returned the cache as found.

By now we were having a few arguments with the car GPS but we stuck to what we thought was the right track. In any case we found the cache, continued up the trail to #7 and the GPS stopped harping about another trail way over there. TFTC Browngang.
Another short diversion off the main track to locate this one, we are having fun in the area.
Thanks for placing the series Browngang.

Maintenance run update. Upped terrain as you might have to walk more than 100m uphill if you aren't lucky enough to be in a 4x4. The vegetation has taken over here too, making it more difficult than when I placed it.
Have fun

Am being enticed a little bit a time, but again not convinced to make it to the top. (Nor convinced that the Terrain is 1½) Cache intact and dry, but changed the bag for a new ziploc bag for the log book.
Will return. Discover Me Tag thru another.

With a Saturday with nothing to do we thought we would check off a couple of these, we'll the ones you can get to without a 4x4 anyway, still we found some hairy tracks though. The forest has never been the same out here since the logged it. Once I get hold of a 4x4 and some time I will get around to the rest. Thanks to Cadet Kelly on the GPS.
Did I mention that today was getting rather Hot ?
Yet again I had to wander up a hill in the blazing sun to find another Cairncross cache [:o]
Worth every bit of sunburn and sweat though

Another enjoyable day out caching with Pprass and Team Crackers.
This was an interesting series with great history.
This cache was well hidden and we almost missed it.

Travelling along with The Drovers and pprass as our tour guide we enjoyed the fabulous views heading into this one. The cache was located in the second place we looked and we are again happy to report that it is all nice and dry and that are name has now been added to the log and the relevant information collected.
Thanks again Browngang for the cache.

Couldn't believe it thought we ran into another Cacher out here but it was just a 4WD parked in the bush and no occupants in sight. on the way back past notice a suspicious looking hump under a tarp in the back of the wagon. We called in and checked if the 4WD was still here on the way home but it was gone thank goodness
SL TFTC TNLN.
Sorry left my bag of swops at home.

On google maps this place looked like it was really barren from the logging but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the relacement trees were growing really well. I had a bit of morning tea before locating the cache and signing the log. Thanks for the cache Browngang.
12:45 Found in company of pprass. "Hinted?" Only for a little while and on the uphill-downhill run now for this excellent series. TFTC Browngang
Found at 12.45pm GAFF1 in the company of LHBfans. The last time we were up here the area around here was quite barren and now look at it - gum trees nearly 3 metres tall and thick undergrowth. The GPSr wouldn't co-operate to begin with and we were looking on the wrong side of track to begin with.
Thanks Browngang.
