Artwork is aging & has been vandalised on a couple of occasions. Would not like geocachers to be blamed for any damage so a new hide being created close by.

New hide equals another smiley Smile

15-Sep-12
Artwork damaged again. Will need to find another hind nearby. Doubt geocachers are responsible for damage, but wouldn't want to think we are blamed in any way.

A very sad face from me for this one, looked for a while with no luck, decided to return to car and found a parking ticket Sad was too excited to look and didn't read the sign properly!

28-Aug-12
hard work avoiding muggles in such a high profile area spent too much time looking for this one, Whoops $50 later for a parking ticket, still no cache Sad

Great tree. Good idea since it was a chilly day. I wonder how the birds handle their new perch? Hope they can darn. Surprised

11-Aug-12
After tea we decided to find a couple of caches and this one proved to be a reasonable easy find.
It took a couple of minutes to search the spots before the cache was found.
We were expecting something a bit different I think.
Thanks for showing us this really cool tree!

11-Aug-12

B2 is very interested in yarn bombing and has participated in this strange and wonderful art form. Lots of muggles in the street, so using the camera took photos of area, to advert suspicious behaviour. The cache was unexpected, when the area was searched for the first time, it was ignored because of scrunching sound. On second inspection, the cache was found by B2 and log was signed. Thanks gregandjudi for a very enjoyable cache.

11-Jun-12
Found this one while wandering around, waiting a few hours for our train back to Melbourne after a weekend at the steam rally.
While I'd heard of yarnbombing before, it's the first time I've seen it done, and I only had to travel a couple of hundred km to see it. Smile

# 206 - We absolutely loved this (as regular travellers to Echuca, we'd never even seen it!), and can proudly tell that Bendigo has now embraced this creativity and is doing it too - not that the two are comparable! A favourite from us, thanks for bringing us here gregandjudi Big Grin

Waiting to attend to maintenance under the cover of darkness. But has been too cold.
Decided to just do it, who would think it odd doing some hand sewing on a tree in broad daylight anyway LOL

27-May-12
By far one of the most artistic finds to date, awesome hidey spot, very clever, I hope that it stays in the same condition for some time, break out the knitting needles, ye hah. TFTC

Found with AliCopter and Family. Had a few to knock over around the Echuca\Moama area. Had a friend come that hadn't been caching before. He enjoyed it too. What a great hide.

29-Dec-11
Ha ha ha - very funny! Love it!

27-Dec-11
Log moved to a different place as original container has been muggled.
Thanks Romax for alerting us to situation, and finding a suitable place for a new log.

24-Dec-11
Found by Roma and Max.
What a marvellous place for a geo hide, something we wouldn't expect to see again in perhaps a lifetime!
We have seen similar groups combine their skills on bed spreads and the like but never as enterprising as this!
Thanks gregandjudi, and in particular Judi who we know has made a contribution to this masterpiece herself.
Regards,
from Romax.

14-Dec-11
No workers round this morning. A quick easy find.

08-Dec-11
Did not find today. We got in early but workers were earlier than us
will try another day.

07-Dec-11
This cache marks the 1118th smiley to be added to the WazzaAndWenches profile.

After my log note earlier today I received a visit and a bit of stirring from Judi during the morning. Sure enough, the council staff were still beside GZ and the cache was inaccessible. When I knocked off work this evening there were quite a number of muggles walking around the area so I elected to head home and return after a bit of tucker.

Eight o'clock and the area was all quiet which made for a fairly quick find. I was a bit surprised to be the first to find considering there are other cachers in the area with more spare hours in the day.

Quite a neat hide with a bit of non-original "knit one, purl one" thrown in.

Thanks gregandjudi

07-Dec-11
Less than 100m from work and I'm unable to have a look till later today.Sad

The local Shire is on a tree planting mission only 10m from GZ. One employee is working and four more are "supervising". Twisted

I'll have to wait till they depart.
