Should have checked the activity before solving... arrived at gz but it's pretty obvious it's not here. Needs to be checked
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
No attention for a couple of years despite reports it's missing due to a change in gz.
Just like the previous post, all new work here and seems obvious that the cache was gone. Definitely needs some attention. Nice puzzle though
This one has gone.
With new works in the area a cache replacement is required or maybe a check by the CO please.
I rang a local to the area for confirmation as to what I was looking for and the position. They confirmed I had the right spot and said that all the work is new and very recent. Bugger! Oh well next time I’m passing. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, time for a few more in the area.

Stretched the search area around Casino to grab a few outliers. This was one of them solved before leaving Brisbane and begging to be collected. Took a while even with 5 sets of eyes searching. Glad to get this out of the way before heading back into town. Cheers BrightEyes!
A fun cache we found over the weekend trip away with friends to save space we signed as The 5. Which consisted of myself JACS Team, Gcoven, TeamARF, EatSleepCacheRepeat and Ardom.
Quick find this morning. What a little sucker just resting no magnet. Out with Ms Maddy and Aussie Liahona, plenty of chatter Thanks.

Out with RoddyC Hatzofff Snickersallan grannysmith 1947 and TMZ59 for a weekend of caching before and after the event to farewell seemyshell.
On our way back from a 4wd drive through the forest we stopped to find this cache. SL then returned as found.

Out south in the dark lands of NSW for a Boy's day out with Fangsoki and Crew 153 - a day around Casino nabbing a few puzzles and older caches. We were done and leaving but a quick fuel stop and I noticed this one probably along our route. Quick solve and so a quick stop added to the trip on departure. Bonus find.
Thanks BrightEyes! for entertaining me at this location.

The border was open - so Pprime, Crew 153, and I came down to Casino to grab a few caches.
By the time I had filled the car with petrol and checked the tyre pressures at the petrol station, Pprime had this one solved.
We pulled up to GZ and soon found.. not such a "big" bang - but a cache nevertheless! We signed the log and re-hid the cache as found. TFTC and the puzzle BrightEyes!

With the border restrictions lifted it was time for Pprime, Fangsoki and I to do a day trip over the border to find a few caches around Lismore, Casino and Woodenbong.
This one was not on our list but we were passing it so decided to find it. It was almost a reach out the window find.

On our drive from Brisbane to Sydney, we are spending a day or two in casino. We have enjoyed finding a number of caches in the area.
This puzzle was solved in advance, in the hope we might have the opportunity to stop here today.
Lots of rain while we were searching, so we were able to bring the little container back to the car for signing. It took a bit of searching for this one.
Nice puzzle.
Thanks Bright Eyes

My first visit to Casino was short but a full weekend finding some wonderful caches and spending time with some lovely people. Interesting learning the history of this town, seeing the sights and solving some challenging puzzles.
Container in good condition, logbook dry. Signed log, thanks for the cache BrightEyes!

Traveled up to Casino to visit friends, a lot of caching was done, and a lot of laughs had... thanks for adding to the fun.

Found with Mummypenny on a circuit of the Casino area. i was in my element with this puzzle so nice not to lose any hair over it, for a change. Thanks BrightEyes!
I found lots of caches on a roadtrip holiday up to Byron Bay. Over the course of the week, I targeted a variety of caches that worked towards different statistic-based goals. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this fantastic recreational activity.

This puzzle has been solved by me some time ago, and had languished on the solved pike for far too long. I had the opportunity to stop off and complete it today but it seems I'd lost the solution so quickly re-solved it and got the numbers again in no time.
I pulled up st ground zero and got to hunting. I checked the obvious spots and found nothing but then on closer inspection found it staring at me. For some reason I was expecting something bigger here so I will make that my excuse for overlooking the cache completely initially.
Thanks bright eyes for this cache, it was a fun nice easy puzzle, and gave me the opportunity to break up my commute this morning with some caching. Cheer cheer!

Heading down to Lismore for a CITO this afternoon, via Uki, Kyogle and Casino, so we're grabbing some caches along the way. We solved this puzzle some time back when we were planning a visit that didn't eventuate.
Wasn't located as quick as it could have been, was expecting something a little bigger for some reason.

Log signed at 12:04 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the experience, the smilie, and for placing this cache **BrightEyes!**.

Decided to go check out the Hanging Rock Falls today. Invited SMS along for the trip. It was a good day with a number of finds. Only a little bit of rain whilst caching.
The falls are so awesome. I love the basalt pillars the water falls over. And the fact that the waterhole guess down and down and then down some more... Love it. Can't wait to return next summer for a swim.
Solved this one a while ago whilst stuck at home.

TFTC. Today was our last day in Casino. We do not like leaving solved puzzles sitting in the to do box for very long. So it was a opportune time to go out and find the corrected GZ. The puzzle was simple enough as we have done several similar ones in the past. Pulled up at GZ and quickly worked out the hide. Took a bit to locate by feel, but it had to be there. Bingo. Signed as H+L
I had solved this ages ago and it was in the solved but but not found pile. Work was rained out and i made the decision to relocate to Inverell. So i had time to make some finds on the way. A bit of a detour but a quick find. TFTC

Having travelled to northern NSWto visit with friends from 60 years ago, we went exploring the area. I had solved this cache before leaving Canberra so it was a priority today. Found easily ans signed the log before replacing in its hidey hole. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find BrightEyes!
With a few presolved puzzles to pick up we left the coast and headed inland towards Lismore and Casino. We found the microscopic while admiring the telescopic viewer.
Thanks BrightEyes! for the puzzle placement.

Another question mark on the map !! [:o]
So I parked by the side of the busy road,
and peeked at the notes.
OH !!
That's easy to solve
I have the required tool on me phone,
no need to go online at all
Hey !!
I even knew the names of the clues !!
Yeah !! NERD !! [:o]
So on me drive north out of the gamboling capital of OZ,
I stopped roadside for a quick cache find
Nice view of the telescope here too

I solved this one last night in the hope we would have time to stop off on our way passed. I was in luck even though I over shot the mark at GZ. A quick reverse with no cars in sight and we were able to pull up within metres. A quick search and we had the cache in hand. TFTC and a break in the drive BrightEyes!
This one of several caches found with Dora the Explorer! on a road trip over the Australia Day long weekend.
We were on our way to an event and decided to grab a couple of caches in the area.
I was unable to find it but Dora the Explorer! was more successful and found what we were looking for.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.

Stopped by here on my way to the Lismore GIFF event. My GPS had me smack bang between the two obvious hide options. Tried the T1.5 option first. No joy on the initial sweep as not keen on putting my hands blindly into places. I then took the T3 option and put my whole body into the places I couldn't see with much trepidation. Trying not to think about what could be lurking therein, I forged my way up and down the fenceline in vain. No luck there either so back to option one, using the bum up, head down method and still couldn't find it. Called a previous finder who could confirm which option to persist with and went on with the hunt. Came up with the goods soon after. Had been expecting a little more container than I found tucked in to the hide. Agree with RoddyC's comment on it. At least the observatory was easier to find, though I and most people passing would probably have missed it driving along the road at 100km/hr. TFTC Brighteyes.
Enjoying a lovely country drive and picking up a few caches along the way. Geo buddies had previously worked out the cool puzzle so with all the hard work done it was time to find the prize which we did quicky. Thanks BrightEyes! for the good hide and TFTC
TFTC my very first find with a little help from the geopartner who has already found this one.
A few days camping in the Border Ranges National Park. It had rained quite heavily last night and my tent had leaked, so, this morning, I headed into Casino to buy a new one. After completing my purchase, I headed to a nearby fast food place to grab a bite to eat and a cold drink. Whilst there, I looked at this puzzle and solved it. On my trip back to the national park, I stopped and made a quick find. TFTC
Had fun solving this with my two teenage granddaughters.
Found by Darkness who seems to have an affinity with this type of hide.
An all round family effort.

I had thought of getting this cache on the Saturday, for the special 'Souvenir', but I was finally able to reprieve a DNF on a cache in Casino, that just missed out on being flooded again. Then it was off bushwalking with a group of Pathfinders from Port Macquarie for the long weekend.
Lovely to be able to drive, and not get scratched by lantana.
The name made sense when I pulled up, and after a few minutes of looking at the wrong angle I felt it.
Dry log, but no O-ring. Good coordinates, but didn't leave a CSM.
Will add a bookmark for the Puzzle Solving elective #2; this is #176, and while it is more than the total of x 125 required, I will still need to get a few more of those Puzzles with a D>3 !
Through for mileage: 6º (of separation) GCookie Travel Tag; Bridge2Bridge Travel Ingot; CII-35Z; Grahame Cookie t-shirt; NZ Mega 2013 Spare Key and NZ Mega Auckland 2013 Signature Trackable.

Slowly heading west from Lismore today.
I have been to Casino before caching.
A few caches I did not find for a couple of reasons, too many muggles, cache blindness or I just did not visit.
This 2as one I did not visit last time. Solved the puzzle ages ago. A quick find once at GZ.
Thanks for the cache.

I had taken the time at home in Brisbane to work this one out! We picked it up while passing through with KJTJMJ, and he made a quick find in the dark. Thanks for a nice puzzle!
TFTC. What a sneaky hide but I found it. I don't normally do puzzle caches so I am quite chuffed at getting this. Thank you
knew I would be passing through this way
so picked out a puzzle or two to solve
and this was one of them
well I solved the puzzle
but it took me awhile to find the little blighter
(much longer than I care to admit [:o)])
thought I knew what I was looking for - then thought - maybe I presume too much
I must of went past it at least ... to many times to mention
but got it in the end we did
thanks for the puzzle and cache
(well that's consumed the rest of the afternoon's caching time - better find some lodgings)

Solved this puzzle and went off to find GZ. Finding the cache was easy as well. TFTC.
Being a non puzzle person I love it when I solve one so have been looking forward to finding this one. Imagine my surprise when we pulled up, yep we know what it is, hmm no its not, rethink then try again, so after a while standing scratching our heads joojoo57 suggest PAF so while she goes back to car for phone I have one more look, very sneaky hide, not what you would expect. TFTC
Had this puzzle solved for ages and out caching today with Diamonjs was a good chance to find it. Found GZ very quickly but finding the cache took a bit longer. I went to ask for help when the call came from Diamonjs that the cache was found. Well done! Thanks BrightEyes!
Found at 2:42 PM GAFF2.
We didn't expect anything like that in such a location [B)] After solving the puzzle, we thought it was going be a standard hide, but we now see what the Difficulty rating is all about - not for the Puzzle, but for the actual hide [B)]
Thanks BrightEyes!.

This cache has taken years! We worked out the puzzle about 3 years ago, had a DNF about 2 years ago and are finally back for another search. A quick and easy find this time but it helped Council had mowed the road edges and all around GZ....even so, handling this tiny cache still made us nervous. TFTC BrightEyes!
Second for the day. Great little puzzle. Well hidden. The internet gives access to all sort of information useful for solving puzzles. TFTC
After doing Wooroowoolglen this was the next closest cache (by distance not by road as it turned out) and we quickly worked out the right co-ords (this took me back a good few years) and headed out to the cache.
Soon had the container in hand and log signed. Great little puzzle BrightEyes.

Found It - Could those letters mean ?? ( No I'm not crazy, my mom had me tested ) [^] Quick find then on our way TFTC
Very clever set of clues. Although the GPS was still a little off. There is no need to walk in the long grass or go near the electric fence.
Found. Solved clue with our novelty shower curtain a week ago and found the cache on way to Casino. TFTC.
Solved the puzzle a little while ago. Another reason to be grateful for persisting with chemistry at high school and uni. At GZ GPS read 0m and I reached in and pulled out an interesting object. Thanks for the puzzle and cache bright eyes!
Insanity alive and well and out for 4 days camping in Giraween in the middle of winter An event to attend and lots of nice walks to be done. Managed to time the visit with the coldest weekend of winter so far and learnt some interesting things about camping in the really cold.
Heading home today via the scenic route and some puzzle caches.
I had stopped in town for lunch and decided to make the detour to find this one. The puzzle had been solved a while ago in preparation for any possible road trips out this way the first part of the puzzle was easy for me and the interweb easily produced what I needed to know after that
Quite a few passing muggles at GZ, but they all just zoomed on by. Cache found after a quick hunt

Spent a solid 1.5 hours at this location, pushing back head-high grass and searching the fence uprights and scanning along the barbed wires.
You see, I felt pretty sure that the cache was on the fence. Map View mode was very useful, or so I thought (see photo - warning SPOILER). I'd post coords but that would give away the general location of this puzzle cache.
I found nothing of course where I was searching, even when I spread out quite a distance along from the indicated GZ. I found this cache by PAFing a previous cacher. Felt a bit peeved to be told where the cache really was.
NB: There is an ELECTRIC FENCE (!) It is a single wire just 10 inches on the other side of the main fence. Zap! ZAP! Well, I've always been curious about what those electric fence shocks felt like. Now I know!

This was one of two puzzles solved with Orionj before leaving home to head for Grafton. It took a little longer to find the cache but all well in the end, found and logged. TFTC
On the way south to Grafton with LHE Duo, and we had taken a little look at this puzzle before we left.
The puzzle turned out quite easy to solve, and it took me all of five seconds to guess what the solving meathod would be. A little bit of google research and the answer was in hand.
So it was time to put the coords in and find out where to stop. It took a little bit longer to actually make the find, however not something you want to go to and have to leave after making the solve and coming all that way (from Brisbane). Anyway I just put my hand in the right spot and made the find.

Were back in Fergclan Country.
Booked in at the caravan park now its off to find a few caches.
We had worked the co-ords out before we left home & after getting a thumbs up from the checker we were off for the hunt. Took a short time to find, not in the usual barrier spot.

Flashbacks to high school ensured a quick solution to the puzzle, but once at GZ, locating the cache was a bit more difficult. We received a big friendly beep and wave from a passing car, and decided they were more than your average friendly muggle. Ready to give up, we cried in despair "Don't just beep...come back and tell us where it is!" Moments later, our wish was granted, and Bessie's Mob was back. The sneaky little micro had even them fooled for a while, and we didn't feel so bad about our blindness if it was MIA. On closer inspection by Mr Bessie's Mob, we were able to claim the cache as found. Thanks for the help! We're convinced Bessie's Mob must patrol that stretch of road...like the NRMA for geocachers!
As Egginthesky and I sat and waited for our dinner to be cooked, we sat with the cache page, google, a pen and paper and sorted this one out. Thankfully, how to solve it came to me right away and it was easy enough to nut out with a little help from the internet. We saved the co-ords away and a few caches later that night, headed out to it.
A giant telescope was of much interest to me, however at night it was not to be. I think we might have been able to see a faint outline though. At this hour of the night, parking was easy, but the hunt was not. We took quite a while to hunt it down and I'd almost decided it was maybe not there when the Eggy one spotted it. Ah, how did we miss that?
All in good condition as we signed the logbook and replaced as found. A fun and simple puzzle and good spot for a final I thought. Maybe I'll get a good look at the telescope one day too. TFTC BrigtEyes!

Worked this out so long ago we can hardly remember how. Finally got a chance to look for it but couldn't locate it. Plenty of ants, maybe we didn't delve deep enough. Thanks anyway BrightEyes!
Oh dear. There I was telescope in sight but the cars rushing past, one man stopped to see if I was OK and as often happens when Out in the open I couldn't look properly and decided that when I come back for the Mystery Pig I will get a hold of this one too. Thanks BrightEyes.
Thanks Bright Eyes. A puzzle I could solve. I did my homework and then we attempted the cache hunt. We were a little concerned after the last finders had so much trouble but we found it fairly quickly, surprisingly, because a large quantity of ants had built a nest around and over the cache container. Needless to say after we'd found it and disturbed them so we could sign the log they weren't too happy with us. Nice puzzle and clever hide. How on earth did you train those ants to disguise your cache. Clever!
No trouble with the puzzle, but plenty finding the cache. Felt like I'd proven the existence of the Higgs boson particle by the time I finally had the log signed.
What do you do when someone pulls up and knows what your doing.
Nice to chat with bessie's mob and even though the cache was missing still allowed me and code1 to log the find.

Having worked out the puzzle ages ago, I put this on the list as the last one for the trip north to finish the day with a "Bang".
Pulled up at the solved co-ords and had a search of the most likely spot without success.
Was just about to give up when a vehicle pulled up and I knew we had been caugh in the act.
Turned out to be Bessie's mob who confirmed it was indeed missing, gave us permission to log and we chatted for quite some time.
It's always great to meet up with others
TFTC and the chat.

Cache container was missing, it has now been replaced with a magnetic nano container instead of the eclipse tin. Apologies if anyone attempted this one and was not able to find it.
1st cache of the day on a run south. Found this cache crawling with ants. It looks like they were trying to make it their new home.
I managed to shake them off to get the log signed and place it back while trying to fight the agitated ants off.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
To be honest, we don't normally do to well at puzzles, but thankfully half of Gaz'n'Kab are a nerd in this field
She quickly rattled out the answers, and sure enough the checker liked the answers
A quick find on our way into town, and a great puzzle!

Thanks for the cache Brighteyes! Solved the puzzle but we knew where the observatory was.
