No joy for us here after checking all four corners. As per our other DNF, we were pleased not to fall in here either. It looks like the water may have been high up under the bridge at some point.
It was a quick find and I was getting tired by this time so I was pleased that it was a quick find
Found it. So nice for what was supposed to be a cold day. Thanks for bringing us here.
A nice afternoon walk along the path in the sun, with no one around, enjoying the caches and solitude. TFTC!!
Spotted this from the wrong side of the bridge and then had trouble to reach the box. But eventually we had the box in our hands.
Thanks for the brief stroll on a beautiful sunny morning.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ during a walk on day 2 of a 3 weekend in and around Fairlie.
I always leave these sorts of hides to SW and he rose to the occasion. This was the turn around point, now back to the car parked on Seddon Rd. TFTC.

#18488. Had a look on one side. It wasn't there but when I looked across to the other side there it was. Time to turn around and head back to the car on Seddons Rd. TFTC.
We are on our summer holiday driving around the South Island with no real idea of where we will end up each day. We are often drawn to an area that has the potential to give us a few geocaching smilies and somewhere we have not spent time exploring before. So we spotted this trail of caches and decided to come and have a look see. It was so refreshing to ride a maintained trail, we have been on some really overgrown and washed out tracks in the last few days.
A nice quick find here the log was nice and dry, replaced with stone on top
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Out today with yetichch riding the Opihi Trail, hoping to get smilies on all the caches along here. Glad to say we were successful in our mission. Beautiful day for riding along here and plenty of ripe wild blackberries to snack on along the way. Didn't see any other people today, so made the hunt easier with no muggles about to be careful of. Some of the caches need maintenance, a few log books were a bit on the wet side. Many thanks Bitsprayer, wouldn't have seen this great trail if it wasn't for geocaching!
Sorry about the generic logs.

Biking almost 90km Fairlie-MacKenzie Pass-Burkes Pass-Fairlie with my brother. Decided to finish along this trail instead of riding 10km of main highway.
Quick find, thanks.

Sacrificed wet shoes (and a fairly hilarious fall off bike by theroamingreliever) to get here. Tftc
Feel over in the water as didn't make it over the non bridged river. Funny stuff. Tftc
One day, we keep saying, we will do this series. Today we had time to do two as a break from the drive from Tekapo to Christchurch. This was the first one found and an instant find in a logical spot. Nice walkway and dry underfoot today.
Thanks.
Thanks.
For this one we searched a while because we had to go in the stream. Finally we got it. The cache is in a good condition.

After a view kilometres at the other end we now tried this end. Unfortunately there was a stream without any crossing opportunity that didn't involve wet feet. So we did only the first two caches on this end.
It is time to get the bike of the rack and me suited up for the Fairlie River Walk/Cycleway series of caches. I started at the end and worked my way down the Opihi River.
Cheers for the cache.

Ahh, the rain has made the creek rise up and no way I was getting across with just damp feet. The water was about a foot and a half deep but nothing a good run up didn't solve. Cheers for the trail, glad to get it ticked off the list finally.
Out with my friends from the Geraldine Tramping Club who helped me locate this cache. And what a hot day it was: 32C in the shade! TFTC
Out for a warm bike ride to get this series of caches with axllal and mr axllal, warm day and it is further than it looks. Thank you for these.
Took a run on friday up to Kimbell and logged the first handfull. Today on the way back from Ruataniwha went for a quiet MTB along the track and back to get the remainder. No trolls today. Sunny warm - great area. TFTC
First find of the morning on our way to the canals for a fish. 8 year old spotted it from the far bank was quick to retrieve
Found on the way back from a caching adventure in Tekapo. Started biking in brilliant sunshine, had a bit of rain and finished in the clouds. Still a great ride. TFTC
During our Bike ride through New Zealand with the kids we happend to stumble onto this cache though we weren't looking for it. We logged it anyway.
Thanks for the cache!

Well, we didn't expect to have to take our shoes off on this ride! It was great timing though as it was getting hot and the water was very refreshing. TFTC.
We were heading to Lake Pukaki to cycle today but the cold wind would of made that a little unpleasant. Instead we were drawn back to the prospect of a sheltered ride along the river and many more caches. O found this one. TFTC!
Another easy find then back to the car and a drive around to Seddon Rd for the next entry.
For people with long legs this may be a stream crossing lol but up to knees doesn't make me think stream lol would be interesting when the waters rose with rain !!!! managed to get across ( with out falling in lol thanks for the cache
MMMm seing the word bridge in the name and that there was a stream crossing seamed strange but it certainly was. Couldn't be bothered walking round so refreshed my feet as i paddled through the stream TFTC
This is a great MTB track to do, except I'll walking!!
Just realised this it best done as a MTB trip but have found these caches as they are close to a road. I will come back in future to get the rest on a bike! TFTC

Liz dubbed Jacob on the bike and I ran, walked and collapsed. Enjoyed our visit to Fairlie as the A&P show was on; it is a big affair.
Bit of a late log as I just realised I had some catching up to do.
We done an overnight camping trip in the Van to Fairlie just to do some caching and walking.
Started at the far end, enjoyed the track.
TFTC.

An easy find and then we got to the river and had to give up. We will be back to do the middle group sometime soon. TFTC
I was really enjoying this run down here amongst the trees over the track.
Thanks

A nice MTB ride down the trail this morning. Thanks for the ride, and the smiley!
A special little bridge. Interesting to see how many names are on this log! Lots of visitors to this one.
No15 in the series. Found with Mr B. Got us a bit worried for a few seconds. TFTC
Second cache of the Stoneleigh series as I rode my MTB ride

There was a tent pitched right in the middle of the track just past the major stream crossing.

We had heard rumours of a new power trail in the deeper south so left the now no longer sunny Nelson for sunnier pastures.
I can almost see the end!
