WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 37 - Narrogin Day. I have had my eye on all the Labs in and around Narrogin for quite some time. I have done a few short days to get here and spend a day. The rain seems to be delayed for at least a day, and it was sunny and clear all day, just a bit windy at times. I walked around town for the six sets of labs there and ventured a bit further afield for the rest of them. In amongst all the Labs I did what Caches I passed, but once the Labs were sorted out, it was time to loop around own to visit the bonus caches and lots of traditional caches. I then went back to the van for lunch and looked at what I could do in the Foxy Lair reserve. I managed to spend an afternoon in and around the reserve doing a few short walks and some ice caches alongside the orienteering event that was on. I finished the day with the pub in town and headed home for dinner and logging. After lunch I went into the Foxy Lair reserve. I had a great time and visited several interesting locations from a clay pit, an escarpment, a granite outcrop and the arboretum. There were a few tree fishing caches that happily worked. The CMS series was a different take on a multi. Thanks for the cache ebenie47337.25 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2015 31 Days of Geocaching A#317**Albida**
Today Taurus Six and I have decided our geocaching plan for the day is to head to the Narrogin area and collect the outstanding caches that we never got around to getting during the WAGB event in June . We did collect lots that weekend but there were still lots more to get be time we left. Today is the first opportunity we have had to get back to Narrogin, since then. It was a lovely drive over this morning from Bunbury. Spring has definitely sprung and the canola fields are looking particularly sensational at the moment. There were also lots of beautiful wild flowers in full bloom in many of the places we visited which was a bonus for the day. The other bonus was having a lovely hearty breakfast at the Williams Wool Shed, this is up there with our favourite eating spots. All in all a great days geocaching and exploring .
This is our twenty third cache find of the day along with the near by Adventure Lab. We have really enjoyed walking through the Foxes Lair Reserve such a beautiful area and especially at the moment with all the wild flowers in bloom. Once at gz cache quickly located. Thanks for the cache Team Gypsies .

Out and abut caching over here in WA from Brisbane while attending WA Goes Big. Out in the country side and towns finding caches. Cache found and log signed as Team East +2. TFTC
WAGB23 The main objective today was to head down to Wagin as that LGA has somehow escaped me on previous visits out this way! Once back in Narrogin I then had a drive around ticking off a few more unfound caches The final few targets for the day were the remaining caches & ad lab stages in the Foxes Lair - largely because I was staying in the caravan park opposite! Moved the car closer to this hide, as it was my last for day here in the Lair. After a short walk I made a nice quick find. No problems here - TFTC
Visiting from the east and heading to the WAGB event and caching along the way and at the event and areas around Narrogin then on to Kulin and back to Perth via a quick visit to Albany. It has been an action-packed day all the way to finishing off with a couple of night caches.
To save space on the log sheets, we are signing as Team East+2.
All Adventure Labs were very interesting to do, and most caches we found today were in good condition and a credit to all the COs who placed them. Thank you ??

In Narrogin for WAGB 2023, ullyssia and I teamed up today to find as many caches as possible in and around town. Nice...really love this landscape. On a big holiday finally and out and about exploring. TFTC and the FUN!
On my way down to Narrogin for a couple of nights. Drove down via Pingelly, as a first to find was up for grabs. However, I was unfortunately second to find by only about 15 minutes. If I’d left in the morning like I had intended to, I might’ve nabbed it.
Was treated to a chauffeur service by the CO from the Caravan Park directly to this cache. The correct cache was located and the name was on the logbook shortly after. Cheers ebenie!
Join me at the 10th anniversary of WAGB in Narrogin on Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June 2023. There’ll be plenty of geocaching fun to be had, I can’t wait to see you there!
