Spent the late morning wondering around Remuera and Meadowland with the family. No real plan apart from finding some caches and having a picnic after.
The park was very busy so didn't spent a lot of time here. Looks like there was a cleanup with all the weeds moved to one side. As I had the family waiting in the car, I didn't want to take too long. Had a quick look, but no luck.

GPS wouldn’t settle, probably due to tree cover. Every time I thought I was getting closer to GZ the numbers started climbing again. Then it would seem to be somewhere else entirely! Studied the rock wall intently, especially around the largest tree in the area but couldn’t spot any rocks that looked like they would move without bringing it all down crashing on top of me! Maybe another day…
Could find it - spent at least 20 mins trying to find it! Will come back another day
I remember when they first put the skate park here many, many years ago. It looks like it is still a popular place for kids to hang out. TFTC
After a pleasant morning in Remuera shopping and lunching we did a few local caches and this one was our last for the day. MrNZT found this one quite quickly, so signed and returned the cache. TFTC!
We had a very nice holiday in New Zealand. Almost every day beautiful weather. We traveled with the camper home from the north to the south island. we have found a lot of very nice caches. Thanks for showing the nice places where we found the caches.
Greetings from the Netherlands

A nice quick find while heaps of muggles were doing their thing elsewhere in the park
Fortunately we kicked a ball into the bush here as there were lots of people at the park. As we were retrieving the ball we quickly retrieved the cache too. TFTC
Found today after bringing Albert the geology department to this nice park for a walk. Lots of kids and their parents were out playing and enjoying the playground and skate park. Just us at ground zero so no worries looking for the cache. Thanks for the cache, all good here.
#6674. I am up in Auckland for several days attending meetings and presenting a talk at night. After todays meeting at the museum finished at 3pm, I had a few spare hours before my flight back to Wellington tonight. So slowly making my way back to the airport via a few inner city caches. I have been trying to stop by other caches on the way here but the traffic is diabolical and the parking is non-existent. So kept driving until finally I saw a cache on the GPS with a parking place available nearby. Wandered over to GZ and found the cache in the first place checked. Signed the log and returned the cache as found. Thanks G_2 for the cache.
Had tried this one previously, but the construction of a bike ramp would not allow us to get to the gz. Today it was all clear which led to a quick find and one more day of our streak (getting close to 50 days!) Thanks
Had visited this a while ago and found kids at GZ setting up a bike ramp to do some stunts, so decided to leave it for another time. Tried this again today, no one around, and made a quick find. Cache is in reasonable condition. Tftc
Lovely park and playground near GZ, but we didn't have time to stop and play as we were on a mission to find the cache. Cache was quickly found thanks to the hint.
Love love love this spot. Being walking around a couple of hours, visiting picket parks and looking for caches. The best one today.
Two of us spent ten minutes to no
avail. Had the right tree. Nothing to NW. No small rock. No cave. Weather turned bad so gave up.

Out walking around the area this afternoon and decided to collect a few caches as we went.another lovely area.turned over 2 or 3 rocks and good job one of us had good eyes to make this a rather straight forward find.didnt realise until after that this was a g2 cache no wonder it was so sneaky.
With a couple of days annual leave from work and morning errands (coffee with a friend) completed I decided to head over to Cornwall Park for a walk and to change a few green boxes into smiles on the map. After completing a few the rain set in so I headed for some park and grabs instead.
Noticed this was a G2 cache and others had mentioned in their logs this was a nemesis cache for them so approached with trepidation. Missed on the first pass around but continued again and with aid of the hint the cache was soon in hand - woohoo.
Thanks for the cache.

Did a morning walk. Noone around, so we were able to search without any interruption. Did not find it nor with the clue in description or the actual clue. Had a ride on the flying fox though. Think we found Po Tato in this park years ago.
This has also been one of my nemesis caches. I was in the area this morning so stopped here for another look and bam!! went straight to it this time!! Now I am positive that I looked there MULTIPLE times but it was nicely camo'd and it is nice to finally "smilie" this. Giving this its FP for that and cos it is also find #2222 for me.
My nemesis cache finally ticked off! After a DNF 5 1/2 years ago, I have been back many times and never been able to search due to muggles around GZ. There's been picnics in front of GZ, fathers and sons playing around GZ, kids playing on the rock and a few others I can't recall. Today just a father and son in the playground, so in I went and located the cache in the first place I looked.

We expected this location would be quite busy at times so decided an early visit on a weekend morning would be the best time for low muggle numbers.
When we arrived it was a little busier than expected with a few early morning walkers and joggers and a father with his toddler beside the playground but overall it was still reasonably deserted and there were no issues with raising suspicion about what we were doing walking towards GZ.
After admiring the rock formation a short search soon revealed what we were looking for.
We should have been a bit more careful in checking who was around before leaving as a mother with her two children spotted us stumbling out of the undergrowth but fortunately the children were running around like lunatics and distracted her from our activities.
Before leaving we spotted the nearby flying fox and couldn't resist having a ride before departing.
Thanks G-2 for another great hide and bringing us to this park we have never been to before.

My son wanted to go to the skate park here this afternoon. Of course it started raining as soon as we got here so park was deserted (a bonus) and armed with the big, invincible umbrella the cache was soon in hand.
Had been looking forward to today all week with another goal in mind to try to grab a few Auckland based caches that "obviously" needed collecting (as it would just be right). So at 4am I met up with RWIMF for a good days caching and an over ambitious plan (Home by 3.30pm).
So today I managed a grand total of 54 finds (only 3DNF's) and plenty of conversation. All I can say for the days activity in Auckland was that traffic was all good till just before 10am and absymal for the rest of the time until we started heading for home so that I could still get some chores done for the day.
Daylight is now with us so I expect that we will begin to see more muggles about before long. Over the years have been at this spot a couple of times but each time kidlets were always playing in the trees which of course would put me off, so each time it was a case of "Drive on Bye". But today at last success. Cache all Good.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

I'd received a message from cats & dragons asking if I wanted to do a mission. I'd said sure at the time, but could I have a rain check as I was overseas at the time. I arrived back in the country on Monday, and so the adventure was planned for the following Saturday. I said I'd be happy to start early, as long as it was my early not his - so we negotiated a 4pm pick up
Caching in Auckland in the early hours of a Saturday? Quite easy, but things slowed down drastically when the traffic really got started about 10am.
I reached the spot before C&D and still didn't find the cache first! Damn it

Bad timing had us scurrying back to the car just as we were about to start the hunt. The heavens opened and the shower proof jackets were just not going to be of much use. Thankfully the rain eased and the bell for round two sounded. Initially the GPS toook us up a steep ,little muddy path, then pointed us 29m away up a cliff edge! Decided it was best to wait and see where the GPS settled, amazed it was exactly where we were standing. Had a hunt around and found the sneakily hidden cache. All good. TFTC G-2
Damnit!! Another G--2 hide I couldn't find. I have found heaps of his but .... knowing G--2's camo skills, I am obviously missing something. Will have to come back....again.
I'd tried to find this one a couple of times in the past with no success. I brought the dog for a walk yesterday to have another go but despite the terrible weather, there were still too many muggles around. I pretty much had figured out where it would be, turned up today, dug around a bit and pulled it out straight away. The first of 15 today while out for a very long birthday run / caching. #107
The GPSr and hint seemed to agree on the location of GZ but I couldn't find any sign of a cache there this morning.
Visit this area a couple of times a week dropping ERI-0T to school and had arrived early this morning so decided to take a look into this cache.
Took a little longer than expected, but still managed to deliver the junior cacher to his school on time and in turn get to my work in a timely manner.
Very well hidden.

Kids had a playdate at the park with friends this morning so after we had finished we headed over to have a hunt and the kids had a climb around. Had a good little scrabble around at a few various places at gz which fitted the hint but no luck today. Will be back for another try sometime.
Found it strait away.
That suspiciously suspicious looking rock gave it away although it was becoming one with the tree.
Definitely there guys just WATCH OUT FOR THOSE MOZZIES!!

On a trip to Auckland with Davidson Clan to take part in a Browns Island excursion. Pretty sure we were searching the right area but the light was poor and it sounded like a tricky hide for a 1.5D so it was time for us to move on. Cheers G-2
Not the best day weather-wise to be fossicking in a park. Despite a specific hint, we were unable to locate it.
Our closest unfound cache so we went for a walk between showers today. It took a bit to unbury the little blitter but we got it in the end. TFTC.
A quick find cheers.
Had a couple of days in Auckland while Ms KR was in a conference, so what todo? CACHE! Found many parks never before visited.
Thanks for effort put your hides.

Had a good fossick around in the detritus in what appeared to be the correct location, but no luck.
Nice quick find. Thanks for brining us to a lovely park. Pity the flying fox wasn't working though, I was hoping for my second flying fox in different parks on the same day lol. Yup and I'm 32.
We came by last night and had a scratch around but with no insect repellent we were driven away by the mozzies soon enough. Mrs beconaze returned in the with faithful poking stick and oh boy we were close last time. Cache in hand after about 1 min. Returned all the scratchings to their rightful place and got the smiley
I really enjoyed this one. The wall looked amazing! Considering my GPS was jumping around far too much today, the hint became the only clue we really had to rely on. TFTC
Found with gazedn. Not your traditional 'V' bottle & did take some foraging under some leaves. CFTC!
As we were almost passing casaba3 decided I should find the caches in this park so after first finding Mr Pau Tato we went back to the car via this cache. GPS led us to a likely spot and after much rooting around I managed to locate the almost invisible cache (or is it just my eyesight?). Great hide and thanks for helping make our caching outing a fun one glyn(the only one).
Great spot for a cache, it was well hidden, not initially where I first thought. Well done.
A surprisingly busy little playground at this time of the day. Cunning hide - log all but full. TFTC #5835
Since the park was a bit busy, I spent a little time looking at the rock formation before going for the cache. It was interesting to see the layers formed by successive eruptions. TFTC.
Driving by and recalled that this cache was here (having found the other one a month or so back before knowing there were 2, and walked the short distance to a nice hide, hadn't even noticed this scoria rock on my previous visits to this park as a muggle or as a geocacher!. No one around as it is wet today. TFTC

I was driving past and decided to grab this cache. Although the park was full of muggles enjoying the Autumn sun, fortunately there were none in the area of the cache. This was especially fortunate as the cache took a bit longer than expected to find. It wasn't until I started digging around did I eventually find this sneaky hide. TFTC!
Never been here before.
The GZ had a few little muggles playing, but I still tried to find it. Had to explain to Nana Muggle what this old many was doing in the bushes so close to her little boys! but she was ok (thank goodness)
Was just about to give up when I had another search...bit of digging and praise the Lord I found it.

Day 4 of our 50 day streak for our geo-license.
We are making the most of the daylight in the evening, so headed out together after dinner to make this grab. A quick, straightforward find. What a lovely park. TFTC!

An opportunity for a spot of Auckland caching for us today. Good one. Dodging showers and getting things dealt to before the rain arrives. That was the theme of the day.
This one required a bit of a closer look and some poking and prodding. Finally we turned up with the cache in hand.
Cache in order; log signed, cache re-hidden safely, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

The park was very busy today with lots of mini muggles running around (including two of my own) which made retrieval a little tricky. I had to implement a bit of stealth and thankfully the clue ensured a quick find. TFTC.
Familiar road. Found cache with Rediguana while in Auckland for the NZ Mega TFTC
Had a good look around with Reveurs, but couldn't find it. Will likely be back at some point for another try.
11164... Our first G-2 cache in quite a while... quick find @ Rangi, coordinates were bang on, TFTC.
Second go at this one and this time found it easily. I don't quite know how I missed it last time.
