Logs
Should have read the last log before we started looking for this cache. Nice spot. Looks like kids have built a cubby here and either dislodged or taken the cache away.
Unfortunately cache has gone missing again, sorry but I think I will have to terminate this cache !!
Took us 2 attempts and it was only the keen eye of 'frogs rule senior' that we found it.
A sneeky hide.
Thanks to The van Abel crew for the cache.

Loved this one. Found the sneaky little bugger in the dark tonight, My son was with me but keen to be on our way to pick up a pizza for dinner so no help at all. Was proud of myself to find it given its difficulty rating & our hunger rating. A favourite point from me. TFTC SL
Back up and running, please return cache to its original position after signing log, thanks
Unfortunately cache has gone missing, I will get a new one there within the next week, regards The van Abel crew !!
The four of us searched for about 20 mins, looking in every nook and cranny but did not find this one.
Thanks anyway The van Abel crew

Got there in the dead of night in light rain, and expected to have the place to myself. But, as should be expected with this high a difficulty rating, there was still plenty of cars around! Many many more than I was hoping to find.
Regardless, had a good look around the obvious spot (ducking out of the way and turning off the light whenever a car came near), but all I found was spider webs. Double, triple checked my coords, and eventually the GPS led me to a nearby spot. It was there that I saw something that I've seen before, but never done this well. I actually laughed out loud, then gave it a nudge to make sure I was definitely looking at the cache. Carefully removed, signed log and replaced.
Future cachers: Many previous logs talk about things being out of reach, or hidden deep deep down. I've no idea what they're talking about!!!
Anyway, thanks for the cache, and for the fun little hunt.

TFTC, Late night caching run. Quick find. Have driven past it plenty of times in the past.

A quiet Sunday, so called Dunko and we decided to cache for the arvo, took a few min to locate as was in deep. TFTC SL
Tricky one this. I do not believe we found it in its intended position as it was very difficult to reach. Needed very long arms. TFTC SL
Finally can get this one of the list with the help of Dunk and Slink1. Having met up with them at an earlier cache I had mention that I had trouble with this one.
I knew where it was but just could not extend myself that far.
Thanks guys

Sadly admit after 3 attempts at looking for this one I have to declare a no find. My first attempt I went to the obvious place and gave it a good look but as the gps was jumping around do much I widend my search. On my second attempt we (three of us) went through the same senaro. On this attempt the only thing I managed to extract was a dead bird, uchhhhhhhhhhhh. Lucky I was wearing gloves.
3rd attempt was to get the location and requirements from previous finder and went back again with a plastic bag to extract the contents and big deeper. After my attempt, my offsiders 6ft 5ins arm went in with still no luck. It was like doing an enternal !!!!!!!!!
Hard for me to say that I will need to keep a watch on this one to see if the next finder has better luck.
I will return (maybe) after I see a success

We have these containers at work, I use them to mix some dilutions for some gluten assay kits.
Found but forgot the geocaching essential, A PEN. Will log my name into the logbook today
Searched for quite sometime with geobuddies and geodog but didn't find it.
The start of another brilliant TDC (The Demolition Crew) run which saw us travel from central Melbourne all the way down to Mornington, collecting over 30 finds for the night. Some great caches and great company. We were 4 up for a while being myself, TrailRunning, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts, some hard-hitters there to be sure... But Q had to part company early in the night, to head to Brisbane in his new Prado for family matters. My first time caching with Rebel Acts, and what a fantastic bloke, and a fantastic night had by all. Really enjoyed how the team worked all together, it was a lot of fun.
After a bit of digging around, the cache was found in good order. TFTC.

Another Monday night comes around and I have just arrived back from a great non-caching weekend near Benalla. Blacklegend is on his way down from Tocumwal and is ready to roll on a great route planned for The Demolition Crew. As Quasar3671 is moving north to Brisbane later tonight, the crew only have a few hours together for what was to be a great night's run down to Mornington.
With Quasar3671 having to leave at about 8 pm, the third spot for the night appeared out of the blue in the form of RebelActs who was looking to do some night caching on his own before he called me and asked to join in. Absolutely I say, and he is soon on the way to Seaford to catch us there. The run started in central Melbourne with the members of TDC who hadn't collected Magnum Opus signing the log (All the members of TDC have now complete the Danozz puzzle series!).
This cache was one of the caches I signed tonight. After finding the cache I thought it would have been better in a larger container. But then again it isn't my cache. Thanks.

Our last find in the area today as we tried to find above average caches as drive byes to try and avoid getting too wet in the rain. We pulled up and did not know what to expect. The GPS took us to one area and we had a good search with out luck high and low. We then read some old logs and decided to step back and think where we might hide a tricky micro cache. A search in nearby area with a little in depth looking soon turned up the tricky hid. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TTFC

Found with Roostaman on a big day out caching around the area. This sure was an evil hide.
Found with Rebel Acts on another nice day for a caching run around the area.
We struggled here for a while and did a few crop circles until I spotted a familiar sight.
I saw a few of these way up north a few weeks ago but didn't look close enough here.
TFTC,
Roostaman.

We over thought this one and it wasn't till we stopped & thought where would we hide a cache that we finally found it.
('\(OoO)/') Thanks for the caching fun!

This one was in plain sight. I covered it over a bit better but I don't think it's how it should be. Certainly not a 4* difficulty at the moment.

Nice easy find on the way home from Mornington. Had to use handy tool to extract logsheet but all is good. TFTC and a nice place in Mornington.
Had a bit of fun with this one. When we approached we found the cache lying on the ground. Unfortunately, this meant that we didn't know where to re-hide it, it could've come from anywhere. Eventually chose a seriously bad place to hide it and nearly lost it altogether! Finally managed to get it back and rehid it where we would've looked had we not found it on the ground first. Hope it's in the right place, perhaps you should check. Thanks for an eventful cache!
we found this one and my sister put it back, so there were a few people around and my brother-in-law and I had to create a diversion,.... we pulled stupid faces at each other and I am sure that nobody was looking at my sister any more. TFTC
This was great!!! Out on a caching raid of the mornington peninsula with Nufrat and Grunterssms. Very clever. TFTC
Very clever. I loved finding this one.

The logsheet for this one seems to have gone MIA. The cache camouflage is still in its location.
Thanks, I will hopefully be down that way before next weekend to replace the log
With birthday celebrations only driver/5 iron away , we thought we'd duck out for a quick look for this one. I wasn't expecting to find it but after gleaning every bit of info from the O3, we walked straight up to the very clever hide at 16:15 . Alas, there was no logbook to sign!! We poked, we prodded, we searched anywhere nearby that it might have been located but there was nothing.
So, we signed a Metcard (as it looks like they might be antiques soon ) and placed that where the log would go. This will need fixing however as any rain will turn it into a pulpy mess.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks for a very clever hide The van Abel crew.

Very cleverly hidden! Only took me 3 attempts to find this one!far too many muggles around!TFTC!
Stupid hill!! I had to ride my bike all the way up that darned hill!
I was siiting down eating my lunch when I saw 'something' and thought that it would be a great place to hide a cache and started thinking about how it would work and how I would place it. When I had finished my lunch I had a look around GZ and I couldnt find the cache, then I had an idea maybe the cache is 'the thing' that I was going to turn into a cache so I had a look and what do I know there it is!

got muggled a beauty by a grandpa on a stand on scooter that has the golf clubs on the front. Much like one of those motorised bunnnings ladders. Wanted to push him off, as if you cant walk the golf course then you are cheating using something like this.

Found it after 4 visits and a nudge from fellow cachers!! In company of TrudyJane and a friendly muggle but NOT Matthew who stood right under it but...suggested removing something but I said it couldn't be there.....and he is now back in Sweden....
There were no nana's at GZ, nor any muggle golfers, so the coast was clear to have a look. Stood back and looked for something out of place, and only when I touched something did I realise where it could be. This was a lovely spot, it felt like a little road in a country town. Thanks for the cache.
We obviously didn't have our quick caching eyes on today, this one took us around 10 minutes to find as our GPS wasn't wanting to be too accurate today, but it might have been that nearby big tree causing all the difficulty and then to find the cache in plain sight and an OMG why didn't we see it sooner. TFTC The van Abel crew
Came at this at night - probably a good time. Walked around for a minute trying to work out where the coordinates were trying to lead me - went to a likely area and found it straight away. Neat hide - saw one just like this when I started in Canada and the first place my torch landed I thought to myself "I wonder if..." and the answer was "yup!". Nicely done - first like this I've seen in Aus (though have been planning something similar)...a favourite from me! TFTC

It is a beautiful day, perfect to be out on the trail and geocaching, so I contacted my good mate and caching partner in crime sedgwickdave and we headed towards Frankston, Mount Eliza and Mornington areas.
This was a tricky cache to find with cars coming out of the nearby golf club at random intervals. We did get tricked at one point but got there in the end.
Thanks to The van Abel crew for the hide.

Found on a Peninsula caching run after meeting up with a handful of cachers at Water Logged to rescue Uncle Wallys Walking Frame TB. Enjoyable day was had, and about 26 caches were collected for the day, had 3 swims, and got home intime to watch the lasts bits of the mens tennis final..
I was expecting this to be a longer search, however after reading between the lines I knew what I was looking for and quickly found it..

Found with Rabbitto on a good day for caching. It was dark and at first we were assuming a particular type of hide. I think that he first spread the search as did I, and he found it just before I did. Thanks The van Abel crew.
We found this cache today at 9:30pm as the 54th of 59 in company of Alansee on our Peninsula Plunder. Now dark and with torches in full use, we searched unsuccessfully for a certain type of cache. Out of the blue, I said, "Hey, maybe it is a ........" and we had it an about 10 seconds from that point. The co-ords were very good. Thanks from D B-A.
This happened to be a quick and easy cache, having seen similar hides before, though had I searched at night it would probably been more frustrating! It was effectively a driveby today ... Yay! TFTC
Nice hide, quick find even with old co-ords.
These trees seem to suck the sat nav signal dont they?

Took my youngest boy Coops out today for a bit of a drive and to find this cache. We arrived at GZ and parked under the trees before getting out and starting to look for the cache. It wasn't too long before the cache was found and we had the log signed. A nice sneaky hide.
Thanks for the hide The van Abel crew.

Continuing on our cache a day streak to see how long we can keep it up for and with Diane now working in Mornington it has opened up a whole new field for us. Checking the web site before she left work today she spotted this one had been published and it was only two kms away from her place of employment and thought that she would attempt this one for today's cache. She parked and headed towards gz when a person climbed out of a nearby car and approached her who turned out to be kellyhaunts.
Her GPS had her a little out but with a bit of help she was soon searching in the right area and the well hidden cache was soon located.
Thanks The van Abel Crew for the cache and thanks to kellyhaunts for the chat and their assistance

Arrived on location and not a single cacher around - however golfers were coming and going in droves, which of course hindered my search. To make matters worse I had a gut feeling the coords were out. I decided to PAF and sure enough he had come and gone and he also confirmed my suspicion that the coords were out.... a whopping 20 meters
My search continued outside the gates (THX for the hint) and it put me a lot closer to the hide. Within no time I had the little beauty in the hand - TOP HIDE - done well!!!
Just as I was about to leave Team Crackers arrived!! Pleasure to have finally met you and thx for the chat looking fwd to the next catch up.
