Redants advises that this cache will be out action for a couple of weeks. They have been doing some major gorse clearing - once this is over the cache will be replaced.
16.40 - Visiting from Cairns. Went for some 'easy' caches 2day while introducing cst14 to the finer details of our hobby. Could not find initially as we followed the hint to the letter - bad idea. At the end I felt like a brush turkey .... Eventually spotted the container sort of under the tree but out and more towards the motorway. +/-0. T4TC.
Just found it. Like the clue, real giveaway. This will be my third for the day.
We found it quite quickly. A park we had never been to. Thank you for the cache. The kids traded an item each.
day 5 of 31. nobody around today so this was an easy find. cute little park tucked away out of sight. TFTC. picked up coin
Day 4/31 in August challenge. Quick find inbetween dog walking muggles on a Sunday afternoon. Drobbed off TB. TFTC
This was my second visit to look for this cache. Last time there was two stray dogs that put me off staying. Success this time though. No dogs so we soon had the cache in hand.

Find #94 of 100 day challenge. Lovely day out here today, and we find ourselves here again grabbing some of the low hanging fruit type caches to get to the 100 days in a row. Not far to go. We started looking in the wrong spot initially, but once our gpss were checked we were in the right spot and the cache was found. Thanks.
A quick find on my way to the 'A Race from Middle-earth to the Northern Waste' Event TFTC redants

The weekend has arrived, yay! Saturday caching, nothing better.
Mmm, interesting that the cache was being obscured by a soiled disposable nappy.
Cache find was straightforward, as per description and clue; cache in order, log signed, then cache re-hidden safely, but with alternative camo - of the organic sort on hand .
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Almost a drive by! Nice quick find - 3rd in an afternoon of trying to get the numbers up in Tawa...TFTC
Straightforward. Park in Mexted Terrace if you want a short walk, but if you want to see something of Arthur Carman Park and enjoy a 200m walk, park in Collins Ave near the motorway (above). TFTC.
Our family's very first cache! TFTC - easy to find with a couple of preschoolers helping us.

Easy find once we located the correct hint item. Miss Geckoh narrowly avoided thistles in her hand. TFTC

Quick and easy, makes up for all the muggle thwarted attempts this morning around Tawa / Porirua. Caching in bad weather has its advantages! TFTC
Grabbed this one on the way home from work. Good to get a nice quick find. TFTC
Find #1302. A quick but rather unpleasant find on a wet, damp, Monday morning. Someone needs to clean up the rubbish in this area. SL TFTC.
Had a couple of hint objects to choose from, but not too hard to find. Avoided hazardous waste (a loaded disposable diaper) located at GZ.
Located today was a bit off to start with but rechecked GPS and found easily. #15 for us TFTC
have been meaning to get this one for ages. Thought there would be more muggles but none is sight, not even dog walkers. TFTC
Followed The Seagnoid's nifty GPSr to this cache [^] (having left map & hint at home), which I found to be fun thank you. #78, 5/5, SL @ 1800 TFTC
This has been the nearest to home unfound cache for a while now, I though it was time to get it off the list. Thanks for the cache, and thanks for the history.
Another cache that popped up in Tawa since our last visit. A nice 'n easy driveby, with no muggles around.

Entered via collins ave, meant I had a 200m walk in the rain and mud to find this one, didn't know this park was so big, TFTC!
I thought this name sounded familiar and after reading the description I remembered why. Arthur Carman was the editor of the 1963 NZ Rugby Almanac that my dad held on to and was one of the first books I read.
Thanks for the cache which is very sensibly hidden.

Early evening on Xmas day, I think all the dogs and walkers were still sleeping off their Xmas excesses - not a soul about. A quick find in a little park I didn't know about. Thanks for the opportunity to explore a little.

Last cache of the day. Once we found the cache MyCro Man loved playing with the little velcro piggy in the lid. We sat there for 10 minutes until he would give me back the lid so I could rehide the cache.. Thanks for cache..
The dogs had decided not to exercise today - probably out shopping for Christmas bones. Quick find. TFTC
Never been here before - I could see the spray from cars roaring past on the motorway nearby. I was busy charging up the slippery bank before kjwx reminded me of the terrain rating and spotted the cache seconds later. TFTC
Found it hard to search and discuss the serious issue of Dr Who with JardisLikeTardis in the constant downpour so was pleased to accidentally uncover the cache before we had time to venture into the relative dimension of undergrowth here.

Called here while in the area this afternoon. Was just walking towards the obvious spot when redants the CO zoomed up on his bike and asked "are you a cacher?". Stopped for a brief chat before he was on his way again. I've got a feeling I may be back here some time fairly soon, he was heading off to hunt out sites for more caches Cache was a quick find in a nice area that I hadn't been to before. Signed log, TFTC!
Was in Porirua for work and decided that I would take a small detour on my way South to Khandallah instead of using the motorway I would take the quiet suburban route. I knew about this park as Mrs Yeetrees come near here once a month do some cross-stitching and I had check this location out for a cache but wasn't quite sure about it. I saw the cache when it got published but thought to myself that I would leave it for the time being and get it when I was passing, arriving at the entrance to the park I was able to park not too far from the cache and it was a quick walk to the final GZ, managed to find the cache in the first spot that I looked, thanks for placing a cache here and bringing us to this lovely little spot and bringing it to our attention, also decided to bring Dream, Passion and Journey Travel Bug along to visit this cache as well, TFTC TNLNSL (3775)
One day after activation isn't too bad I suppose, wasn't checking enough as was watching my first hide and missed this last night. Easy find with a quick park, walk about 9 meters, move the wet stuff and, there it is ! Not the best night with wind and rain [summer??] but keeps the muggles away as well. TFTC
#786. Found the cache about 2 hours or so after publication and I was already relegated to page 3 of the logbook. Good to see such an active FTF group out and about at the moment. -tb. SL, TFTC.
Third of the new caches I found today.
I knew FTF was well and truely gone by the time I arrived but came out for the smiley anyway. The path to GZ was well worn before I arrived so it was a quick find.

FTF 1657hrs . My lucky day. I had caught the early train home and was just preparing for an mtb ride when this notification popped up. Being only 1.5km from home the ride went on hold and I was in the car and off. The cache was a quick find and I had just started to walk back to the car when SAROC turned up with Boxhill not far behind him.

3rd to find, not sure why I even entertained any ideas of actually getting an FTF out this way. Time some people got themselves a real 9 to 5 job . TNLN SL TFTC
Second of two finds tonight whilst quite co-incidentally in the area. An interesting wee corner of Tawa I didn't know about and clearly a good place to take your dog for a walk.

2nd to find. Just pipped at the post by Fozzmiester. Knew the FTF had gone on arrival as the swift Fozz-mobile was parked up in the same place as I stopped. Met up and were chatting when we were joined by Boxhill. Mini flash mob[?]
I'm glad I don't have a 9-5 job, and it is a REAL vocation. Been there and moved on. TNLN SL TFTC
