Ok I chickened out and took the slightly longer way. Several hint objects later, while crawling under branches the cache was found and signed. Thanks bitsprayer.
A lot easier than the T4 scramble I did in the heat yesterday. Cooler today. Thanks.
M did the scramble and after looking under several places he found it at the one I pointed to. Thanks Bitsprayer.
On our way to next place, TEMBO! and I made a break here and find this cache and logged.
Thanks to Bitsprayer for hiding and maintaining the cache.

A quick find once I got to GZ. There is an easy way and a hard way why do I always take the hard way. Thanks
Last, at the end of a successful day of gaining points for climbing peaks. Took the easy way up, fun way down. TFTC
Took the easier way up, but still had to watch my step. Now, which tree to look under - glad to find a geostack to direct me. Cache was nice and dry, even after all that rain. TFTC.
#19130. Was happy to take the direct route on the way up, but decided for a gentler route on the way down (after finding it was quite easy to follow the fence line). Don't imagine many whitebaiters go up to GZ for a rest . TFTC.
It's the last day of 2020 and StreetWalkerNZ and I are on our way south to spend a few days in Dunedin. With the forecasted rain, we decided to cache as much as possible en route to take advantage of the fine weather.
SW took the direct route up to GZ, while I faffed around looking for a more Troodles friendly route. By the time I reached the top, SW was making his way down as he had already found the cache and done the paperwork. Managed to find the gorse as I slid down the bank . TFTC - I think.

Took the easy way up the bank and made a nice quick find. Log signed and back to the car for the next one. tftc
We must have looked very dodgy trying to climb up this bank and then emerging afterwards! Took the long way around as we thought we would break our neck going the short route. Anyway, took us a good 10 minutes to find it, was pleased to get the smiley! TFTC!
Have been meaning to do this for ages, but always going to fast, or desperate to get home after a long holiday. Finally done today, and managed some CITO along the way. Kia ora for the cache.
Bit of a quick exit off the highway Nd a scramble up the bank but easily found. TFTC
On way home from a lovely holiday down south. Nice and easy to park motorhome so we could go looking. Sure had fun getting to the right area. Happy to have found the cache now back for some lunch and a cuppa. Thanks Bitsprayer.
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 13 Dunedin to Herbert Forest 25 caches. All targets have been met. Thank you for the placement

Not covered again. She stood below looking like a dork staring up into the trees while he did the deed. Took the long way around.
Today we made a trip from Christchurch to Dunedin, visiting some new sightseeing locations which we had on our plan. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches, too. The weather was between cold in the morning until warm in the afternoon, but no rain at all.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to Bitsprayer for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Whitebaiters Rest ( Otago ). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

Thought I'd get all these rest stop caches on the way home from our trip out to Wakouaiti. I didn't think you meant *that* much of a climb!!! Actually the up wasn't as bad as the down! cache was quite exposed and not covered, so put a stick and some pineneedles back over it.
Stopped here on the way north this afternoon. Accessing the cache was a bit more of a scramble than I was anticipating but once there it was an easy find and the cache is in good condition. Signed log, TFTC!
Best entertainment watching Tuitigger attempting to descend the hill, it was most definitely not graceful lol. Thanks for the laugh and the cache.
Searchwisely was doing the navigating, we left Waikouaiti for a few quick P&Gs not realising the T rating on this one. Caching in jandals never a good idea, climbed the cliff in bare feet, stubbed toe of branch drawing blood. Cache was found in open, covered up with cones and needles... but what normal person would climb up here anyway? Found easier way down, as i had fear of breaking a bone.
Needed a break on the way back down to Invercargill from Christchurch. Have been eyeing this stop for some years. Tftc
On our way home from Dunedin after a few days visiting kjr pulled in here for a quick find
A nice quick find after a short scramble. The indirect was is easy and quite quick.
Found with Granville86a on a lovely weekend for a caching trip to Palmerston. Thanks for your cache placement was a bit of fun seeing who could beat each other up to the placement the short of the long thanks again

On a trip south to head to the Higlanders Game on Saturday and collect some caches on the way. Quick easy find. My mother used to whitebait a bit further upstream so it was nice doing this one. Thanks for the cache.
Heading to Central for the weekend so decided to go via the Pigroot to do some caching on the way and a good chance to find a few more closer to home first. A nice quick find by K. Watch the barbed wire fence along the top - R had a bit of a mishap with her jacket so you may find a few feathers floating around! TFTC
Bit of a clamber up a hill to get this one. Would help if ay short to get under the trees but got the in the end. TFTC
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who is staying now for more than five months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Here we go: Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we will follow the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Of course, even if it is not our main activity during this holidays, we will looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to Bitsprayer for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

Cheers for the cache.
Not sure when I found this - my GPS says found, so it could have been any time!
On a road trip with VDH56 and I.C.U. but must admin young I.C.U did the hard yards for this one.
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
Snowed in in Dunedin and then the road cleared, heading North...

Took the longer way up. No whitebaiters at this time of year, but a coffee and sandwich vendor has set up in the rest area on the other side of the bridge. (8 to go.)
Today we drive from Dunedin to Omaru. On the way we took same caches. And this one was on of it.TFTC
Found this cache on our way from dunedin via maoraki rocks to Twizel Thanks too all cache owners that put up a lot of caches on our way and that they take care of it enough Thanks a lot and greetings from czech republic
Well last day down here in the deep south so that means a last trip to collect a few caches before heading back to book out of the motel.
Still its a few hours before it gets even remotely light so just a matter of working the plan to meet the requirements of the current GCLS stage that I am on and keep moving.
twelth one of the new day and clear star lit skies to boot, nice hide
Thanks for the placement

Spent the day geocaching on the drive from Christchurch to Dunedin. Resulted in 156 finds. Quick find. Signed log. TFTC!
I have been meaning to stop for this one for a while and today was the first time that I remembered in time and turned off the road. Found the easiest looking access way, and then it was a piece of cake! TFTC!!

A bit of a challenge to get to it, especially in jandals, but was rewarded with the prize. TFTC, #5616
Easy find on the way to Dunedin. Whitebaiters in the river, didnt look like they had much in their nets.
A quick stop here to find the cache and to drop off a Tb, quite a scramble up the hill.

We took the direct route, which was a bit of a scramble for sure. Once we had signed the log we decided to take the longer route back to the car - the safer option we thought. The nearby letterbox was awesome. TFTC
