Like previous finders. This is on privae property now, as they are building a new house. Signs everywhere. There is a fence of sorts, but its down where i crossed it. What can i say, i needed a cache. Funny where they will sell blocks of land now. A neighbour was watching, so container probably not there now. Needs to go. Certainly dont think they play anymore.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.

Found while staying around the Central Coast area for a couple of night for a get away. The red and white tape was no longer there, and the cache was not disturbed by the fallen trees. However the contents are water logged and a terrible state in need of some desperate TLC. Managed to sign a soaked page.

**Thanks For The Cache** Allturners.

With a quick trip up to the Central Coast from Sydney this morning and a successful find in just a few minutes at Gosford I had plenty of time to spare.
I wanted two caches for the day and had a couple in mind, en route to where I was meeting friends, but I also had spotted this cache as it wasn't too far out of the way so with the extra time I decided to drive to this one. In the end it was quite a bit further than I thought but a straightforward route.
Once at Bellbird Park it was a short walk to GZ.
I saw bellbirds, whipbirds and an oriole near the cache which was a quick find.

After all the rain this week the cache is still in good condition.

8/5/16. 8:08 AM. Cache #3823.
1st of 4 finds (& 1 DNF) on Mothers Day morning - Green Point, Terrigal & Kincumber.

After a failed FTF attempt up Kincumba Mountain ("Fisher Kings"), I drove around to this one. There was a guy walking his dog down the hill, so I sat at the bench and waited for him to go; meanwhile I read some old logs and saw "leeches". After my big one yesterday. Great!

Once he'd gone, over to the fence to look for this cacher trail. Over I went then down and around to the obvious hiding spot. Peeked in and saw a bit of the cache, made the grab, opened it... and a leech came out from inside the cache and was moving quickly towards my hand. I flicked him but he held firm to the outside. At least now I could get my hand in.

I signed the slightly less damp log and replaced everything as before, complete with the leech now on the outside. Back to the same table via a more direct route, off come the shoes and socks for a leech check - all clear. I headed off to my next cache, "Windy Willows". TFTC.

Finally got 5 min to log this cache for our team. Found by 8 yr old member when out hunting with Team Novo about month ago - first find for him so he was pretty excited

01-Apr-16
Quick GC headin home after soccer season opener. Great hide! Actually missed it the first time I looked and have to admit it was one of the team Ricardo geokids that made the grab on second look. Team R can cashe with us anytime! #22

27-Mar-16
We visited friends who are living nearby. This is our second attempt. Last time, Spotted another 'obvious' spot 10 meters away after beating bush. Having read recent log, I brought Geokids to cross the fence and straightly walked GZ. TFTC

12-Nov-15
I went straight to GZ, looked in the right spot, saw nothing, then I got scratched up by the lantana wandering about, went back to the obvious spot again, and this time I felt for it, and there it was, grrrrr!

I removed a 22 cal' bullet that was in the log bag, not what you expect to find in a cache.

21-Sep-15
I'm house sitting in the area for a short while and took advantage of the first sunny day down here and took the dog to the beach. Couldn't go home without grabbing a few caches. Had to carry her over the fence so she could come to GZ with me as she refused to be left alone. She's new to caching and was on fire sniffing this one out! Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here Smile

Leeches

30-Jun-15
The Geokids wanted to go to a playground this afternoon, and this is the nearest one to us with a cache yet to be found, so off we went. When we rounded the corner into the reserve, I was a little disappointed for the kids as the equipment is a bit and sad and sorry looking, but they didn't care, and set about making their own fun as kids do. I waited, but then was told "mummy, go get the geocache and bring it to us if there's any toys" - oh, it's like that is it? ...but off I went, ducking across the fenceline into the scrub, following the geotrail down to the obvious (once in sight) natural landmark where the cache was easily uncovered.
The original logbook and inner contents were wet through (in fact going mouldy) but there is a snap lock bag containing a replacement log, that was damp, but signable. With no suitable SWAG for the Geokids despite its size, I rehid after signing my attendance, and rejoined the kids.
Thanks for the findl3raeden

30-Jun-15
Original log is wet, sodden and growing something.
The new log (in snap lock bag) is damp but signable.
Inside of container is quite wet, and needs attention.

31-May-15
Found. Not very well hidden. Cache full of water.

04-May-15
The birds were wonderful to listen to. TFTC

04-May-15
Terrigal is so wet at the moment, lots of leeches!!! Nice hide TFTC

26-Apr-15
Logical location but a bit of bush bashing required. A bit tricky after recent storm. Thanks for the fun.

26-Apr-15
Lots off storm damage at this park. Hiding place pretty obvious once we saw it. Beware the leeches. TFTC

15-Mar-15
Lots of mozzies

01-Mar-15
Having missed the last cache on the way home, I wanted to get one, so I stopped here. I was a bit surprised at how far beyond the reserve I had to go, but I suppose I am used to not doing the right thing all the time. Thanks.

Streak day # 60 - what a nice little park. It was lovely listening to the birds as I wandered through the rainy forest. I did pick up a little leech on the way. Thankfully I felt him on my leg before he could sink his teeth in.

16-Nov-14
The bellbirds were out in force on this windy afternoon - the bells, the bells!

I've had this one in my sites for some time but for some reason kept overlooking it whenever I was over this way. Now, needing one more find so I can award a promised favourite point to a seaeagles cache, I thought the time had come to knock this one over.

Having read the recent logs, I came prepared with a replacement log in a snap-lock bag. The original log is still completely saturated.

Sad to see the lantana taking over this area of forest. I approached GZ from the wrong angle and had to battle through a fair bit of the rotten stuff before spying a likely hiding place.

TFTC.

27-Oct-14
See my found log. Those containers aren't waterproof.

25-Oct-14
Used to live very close by so it was good to go and see my old house and the growth that has gone on in the Kings Avenue estate. The cache is in dyer need of of maintenance as I could only scratch my name into the wet pulpy logbook.
Thanks and cheers from Browngang

04-Oct-14
Nice park - Pad is wet despite container and surroundings

19-Sep-14
Needs a plastic bag for the log book/new log book

03-Sep-14
Off into the wild for our second find... Loving this after school fun!

30-Aug-14
Hi Allturnes! It would be a good idea to have a look at this cache, as the container is not coping with the rain. There was water inside it & everything were really wet.

30-Aug-14
We had drizzle on & off today.. So I waited the "off" moment to open the container & sign. Everything inside was under water.. I drained as much as I could but impossible to sign. I left a piece of paper signed, as per pic attached (probably is also wet by now..). TFTC Alturnes Smile

Haven't ever seen this park before so was surprised to find it. This is a nice and quiet area and the name of the park is very fitting!!
Walked down to GZ and read some previous logs for hints. Was a bit worries at first but then made my way for an easy hide.
TFTC cheers

11-Jul-14
As prior log also thought we would do this one on a windy day while no kids are out. Walking towards GZ spotted a likely place and soon had log in hand.found a couple of toys not far from cache and returned them to container. Nice park. Number 5 for today. Now erina for some morning tea.

11-Jul-14
A quick detour before going to erina fair for brunch. Always go with your gut instincts when looking for caches. TFTC

10-Jul-14
I noticed when I picked up the basketball stadium cache yesterday that another one was close by so it became my drive by target for today. I made my way into Bellbird Park (too windy today for anyone to be playing there, which is just as well because I'm not really comfortable clambering through bushes in proximity to children) but once there my GPSr wasn't being helpful at all.

As a result, the find, using just the hint, took a little longer than I had expected. Eventually I got there only to find that the lid wasn't on the container and the log book (which wasn't in a ziploc bag) was soaking wet. I didn't have a repair kit with me so was unable to replace the log book, but I did have a loose bit of paper that I left as a temporary log until the CO can do necessary maintenance.

17-May-14
Lots of hills to ride in the bike

21-Apr-14

Came here with my son and his mate (O) who we had just introduced to geocaching. Not too sure about having to go over a fence-line, I figured we were going into Kincumba Mountain Reserve but looking at the maps now I'm not so sure? O had already found the cache before I had gotten a decent fix on GZ. Nice big cache! I signed the log and added some small nick-nacks, O had taken the penny and the kids had run off due to leeches and spiders. Replaced the cache AOK. TFTC Allturners!
