Trying for at least one cache a day for as long as possible this year.
This one was also close to work and I had a really good idea what to expect. It always makes me smile when I drive past a bold pole cache that I have found previously.
However, today I was disappointed, as no cache was to be found. It looks like the galvanised paint on the pole has been touched up in the last couple of months, so it's likely the cache was discovered and removed then....

Quick find on our way past as we headed back to Auckland. Had to wait for a gap in the traffic to ensure we weren't spotted by any suspicious muggles. TFTC
Heading back home after a day caching both north and south of Whangarei. Pulled off here and spotted the cache from the car. TFTC.
After coming across a couple of these now we knew what we were looking for. Signed the log and placed back. A quick and easy find. Tftc. TM
#11066. SH1 was pretty busy, so it was good to be able to turn off and find a cache on a side road. TFTC.
Another glorious day in Northland and today's destination is Marsden Cove and surrounding areas with lots of caches finds both going to and coming from the area.
A little detour to get to this cache and a quick find. TFTC.

A Waitangi weekend road trip to collect a few puzzle series of caches that we have solved over the last month or so - plus any other caches that we can find on the way!
A quick drive by find.

Had a quick search here the other day when my gps was on strike. Came back today as the phone was back on board and we were going past. Yippee another smilie for our efforts. We always used to buy our garden plants here when we lived in Whangarei. The kids loved the playground. TFTC
Had heard about this type of cache but the first time seeing one. So clever. TFTC
Quick park and grab. Logbook saturated so put in a new sheet of waterproof paper. TFTC
At Last I have bagged this one. It had me stumped a couple of years ago. Now after several repeat visits I have finally found it. DOH And it was there all the time - and I was looking at it - never imagened that was the hiding place. Some people!
Well I am of to the Red Shed very soon.
A Big Thank You for the Cache.

Having found this cache's sister near the Warehouse, this was a very quick and easy find. TFTC.
Forgot our pen, but took a pic to prove our find. Really loved this hiding place. Simple, but very clever. One of the best I have seen. TFTC
Day 4 of a trip up north.
Good weather and plenty of nice caches to find.
Found this cache quickly.
Thanks for making my trip fun!

On our way back from camping at Whananaki, stopped off at the petrol station for a drink so decided to grab this one, dropped a coin, tftc
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
I love these caches! Good one to grab on the way north while refuelling. Thanks
Wasn't sure what the clue meant until we got there.
Co-ords were good and led us straight to it, then we knew what we were looking for.
Thanks Flowernz

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We are in my old home town of Whangarei visiting family for Easter. Filling up with petrol nearby, so made a quick grab of the cache. Thanks for the cache!

Found with Violetflame2012 and Biohazard_freak. A nice park and grab for us tftc
Had found two similar of these clever cache containers before, so saw this one from a few metres away. Cheers for the cache.
Up here caching for the weekend with Fencarrows - our first find for the weekend [8)]
Collected while out night caching in the area as considered that it would be quieter than during the day, it was, TFTC
Drove past but too many muggles in the nearby car park having lunch and overlooking GZ.
Will try next time.

Arrived at this one to find it had fallen prey to a muggle weed eater, located cache (minus logsheet) in the open covered in grass clippings. Clean it up as best we could, made some running repairs, made up a new logsheet and returned to the far side of the item and up a bit higher. TFTC

8975 No need to grab any supplies from the Big Green Shed today... where else caches are just the beginning... . TFTC.
Drove past here three different times on two different days. We could see the cache but workmen were nearby and not wanting to compromise the cache we waited until we could retrieve it discreetly. TFTC
Quick stop on the way home from a trip to Auckland by the family. Great camo, I doubt the workers laying the underground cable nearby even suspect the cache is there. TFTC
Great cache, right in front of our eyes. Needs some maintenance though as the log is extremely wet.
Not sure what the hint meant at first and google didnt help either. Not sure why i bothered as i had the cache in hand in seconds. Seeing more and more of these hides lately. Nicely done. TFTC!
A quick night-time park and grab by the Big Green Shed before leaving Whangarei for Auckland. Thanks.

2.10pm. Nice quick find after getting some timber in the green shed. Thank you. David.
Slight detour as the daughter was having trouble reading the GPS! Teenagers! As we found can be easily done without a navigator. TFTC
