### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there whitey84,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

A pre-Mega trip to Millicent with Bettyboo3747, and The Morris
Today straight off night shift, BB drove to Carpenter Rocks, and we did a few caches on the way to walk the dogs. Very changeable weather, but we arrived mostly dry.

Well, we didn't find the 400ml sistema, but we did have a good look around. Nice sculpture.
Thanks, Robmc.

Couldn’t find it, looked high low and in the middle, plus a town meeting on the day made muggle activity super high Sad

15-Aug-19
bugger.... the one day we were out here a town meeting was on with lots of people looking at us weirdly as to what we were doing rustling around the area! We looked for half an hour regardless though! Still no find! Saw the last log was back on April.... can someone confirm is still there? We will keep an eye out on the future activity and come back another day on another trip to Portland....

Found on the Parkville mega event round trip. This cache added to the experience.

Thanks whitey84. and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

A trip east to Parkville 2018 had us stopping on the way to collect a few caches and again stopping on the way home. Well that’s what cachers do when they head to a mega don’t they.

School Holiday time. I joined becca85, GemmaSistema, boo09, Ad & Luke for a roadtrip from Maryborough to Mount Gambier to the Glow worms and back again. So much fun. Thanks for the cache. Smile

School Holiday time so we formed our Clarmensma family team and headed to Mount Gambier then home via glow worms for a mini road trip.
Lots of fun had on our trip. Sorry for late, generic logging. TFTC

Love time capsules!
School holidays yet again which means we form Team Clarmensma (myself, GemmaSistema, boo09, neisha07, AdamSistema & LukeSistema), choose a destination and off we go.
Mount Gambier was the chosen location this time with a 3 days trip, ending in a detour via the Otways to see some Glow worms. Lots of km traveled and caches found. A fun getaway yet again. TFTC

Great sculpture and and easy find once we expanded our search.

School holidays means a geocaching road trip for Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 4 geokids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09). This time we headed west to Mount Gambier for a few days of exploring. Over the 3 days we did lots of kilometres travelling from Ballarat/Maryborough across to the Mount and then back via the Otways. We really appreciate all the teams who put caches out for us to find as without you there would be no geocaching! So many many thanks!

Headed this way a couple of weeks ago with the intent of looking for this cache, only to drive straight on past laughing and laughing. Muggles shouldn't be a problem?! Hah! Clearly not on a Saturday morning! Pretty sure all 200 of Bessiebelle's residents were at GZ. Looked like a market going on, cars galore, people everywhere. Giggling a lot I left them to it. Headed on back out today and ah bliss, not a muggle to be found. As others have suggested if you widen the search area about 10 metres from what the coords suggest, it's a nice easy find. The sculpture - erm, it's...brown? Umm, quite big? Ummm, nope, I got nothing Smile TFTC I enjoyed the drive/s and the little area dedicated to times past that I otherwise would not have known about.

Found the Geocache and admired the statue near the tree. Don’t waist your time looking up high Wink

12-Mar-18
Had to drive past this one the first time as there were a couple of vehicles setting up for something in the nearby hall. Second time past and the coast was clear for the few minutes it took to locate the critter.

03-Mar-18
Today we are heading to Portland for a few days and found this one along the way.

We admired the statue and found the cache a little uncovered so hid it a little better. It could use a new log when you get a chance.
Thanks for breaking up our travels whitey84

3rd stop on day 2 of KmanNZ's SA road trip. Haven't reached SA yet but not far off.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Find #3073. Found @ 15:07

We're holidaying in Portland, but first we need to get there. I tried to coincide some back and leg stretching with cache locations, and this was the last before reaching our destination.

It took me a minute to find because I was using the phone GPSr. It is quite interesting to see the history of these places we zoom through on our way to somewhere else.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache whitey84.

Op de terugweg van Mount Gambier naar Koroit komen we hier langs maar kunnen hem niet vinden. Later lezen we in een andere log dat hij nogal afwijkt, helaas.

ROAD TRIP! - Day two Cool After driving to Mount Gambier yesterday via the scenic Coorong route collecting caches that I haven't found, it was time for a forage across the border with mogni. [^] Our target was to make our way to Warrnambool and try and get the remainder of the puzzles and multi's we were yet to do, leaving just traditionals to collect another day. If not for two DNF's we would have succeeded too. [:o)]
Following some roads well traveled we ended up here. The cache was quickly located. Smile I had to ponder what happens to it when the locals do maintainance on their hall. It seems they never do...football it king here. Surprised
The sculpture. It's...it's....it's...nope. Nobody I know! Razz

Today we spent the bulk of the day underground investigating caves and Lava Tubes around Budj Bim National Park having a wow of a time. Now Ausfox; Neville_devil and I decided that it was time to head home to Geelong via Warrnambool for some Dinner and fuel.
This little guy was directly in our path so of course we had to stop for a look. After a bit of a search turning up nothing we expanded our search area, after which it was quickly spotted

*11/3/17, Found @ 3:59 pm, Find # 6427.*

After the Portland event, I joined up with The Tritonz and McLookers for a trek to Mt.Eccles to find a few caches, this one was on the list.
The others had found this one yesterday so I was lucky that Chris stopped here so that I could also add my name to the log.

**Thanks to whitey84 for placing this cache.**

10-Mar-17
Stopping to pick this one up in the company of McLookers, we spied 2 shifty caravans and their cacher owners enjoying their lunch after already putting this one to rest. They watched us with amusement as we struggled in our search for the hidden container but after widening our search perimeter we had the hide in hand.
Thanks whitey84 for the placement.

Travelling to Portland with Liz and Bruce, for the 8 months to Alexandra Event, we chose a route via a number of caches, suitable for a leg stretch stop and hopefully reward both teams with a smiley token.
Apologies for the late logs, we are still catching up after an almost fatal computer meltdown.

**Note to CO:** We replaced a full and very tatty log.

Thanks whitey84 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

After rendezvousing with The Tritonz a little earlier, we were approaching this area when we noticed two lots of caravanners having lunch. A quick stop to say hi to Liz and Bruce and Phetlern and grab this cache. They had fun laughing at us while we poked. We widened our search a little, spied the cache, tentatively put our hand in and grabbed it. Phew, no bitey things! Thanks whitey84.

Wow, that was harder than it should have been. Like others, GPS took us to the tree. We were about to give up, but whilst waiting for geowife to photograph the keeper of the cache (I'll add a photo, but it was hard to take on the phone, so you'll probably only make out this little guys eyes), I re-read the description. Figured it had to be there. Yep, finally, there it was. Tftc Smile

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! We are currently on the first section of our journey, which started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island. We are currently on route to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park (where we are at present), Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. From Melbourne we head to Tasmania for a few days, then back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!

Found in the third place we looked. Thanks so much for the cache.
