Armco still hasn't been repaired so will reconsider this one in a new placement. Present 'temporary' location has no view.
TFTC/TFTH Loved the views on the drive through the blue mountains and doing some caching also topped off the day, TB picked up
Our first geocache for the day.
What a lovely place to start our hike through the blue mountains (and a lovely day for it too);

A quick roadside cache on the way to Echo Point. Nothing too much to say here, just that I had a smile on my face as I approached GZ! TFTC!
Had to be on high alert muggle watch but found this one with geoboyfriend.
Quick find while waiting for the bus After walking the trail - tftc

Just spending a couple of days at Katoomba and enjoying finding some caches around this magnificent area. It is especially beautiful in spring time. No problems finding this one. TFTC.
A quick and easy find. Cache and log in good condition. Tftc

Initially drove past this one but did a U-turn and finished up parking next to the hide. Quickly found, retrieved, signed log and replaced. tftc.
Now for another U-turn to continue the way we want...

TFTC clue helped. A little walk around the bend of a road do be careful with kids. Parking is available very close by.
Went for a couple more caches before heading back to Sydney after a nice stay in the Blue Mountains. Signal bounce prolonged the search, particularly because I did not have access to the hint. Oh well. Made the find in the end. Grabbed the TB to move along. SL - TFTC. (3926)
Spent a wonderful day at Katoomba and Blue Mountains.
Coming up the Leura Cascades and take a small rest here.
Thanks a lot and greetings

Coulda, woulda, shoulda, but in the end we didn't - steelejez and I were under time pressure so had very little time for this one and had to bail before success. Pity - had to leave this one for another day.
As King Rolo said...we failed. Apologies pjmpjm. This one messed with our collective heads...
Was a bit worried by the knocked out barrier but as others did, we found the cache safe and sound. Not much of a view today but might have found a nice restaurant for dinner! TFTC.
Weather closing in so we decided this was the last for the day. GPS all over the place but not really needed for this one. Tftc
Coords are off. Found it further down from the location. Be careful of the buses. TFTC! Found wth laura_rose.
Found with the help of contactpete. Foggy day so beautiful views obscured unfortunatly.
Apparently the car jumped the gutter and well hopefully everyone was ok.
Found cache thank you for that.
Wasn't much view on this cold wet, foggy evening...
Refer to Spy79's pic of the 'fantastic view'

Me too found the coordinates off - but about 30 meters from the site of the accident which is still very obvious. TFTC!
Took quite some time to find as co-ords were out approx 20-25 mtrs. Sad story about the recent accident, found with Bluewattle & TFTC
After looking for 1/2 hr DNF. Recent car accident has taken out some barriers ???geocache as well. Though gps was jumping around a lot

Here's where I replaced the cache, a few metres from the original hiding spot and a bit away from the wonderful view of Korowal . . . Mt. Solitary. Should be easy to find. It's a very likely place . . .

Yep, GZ definitely took a direct hit! Boy oh boy . . .
Scrambled down, down, down and rescued the cache container.
All was OK so replaced it nearby, in a very similar spot.
Thanks for the heads up.
Please note that when you're searching, it pays to watch for traffic on this corner (just below the famous Solitary Restaurant).

We decided to go for a drive from our camping spot at Richmond to the Blue Mountains which was fogged in and raining. Disappointed that we werent able to take in what must be breathtaking scenery , all was not lost though as we managed to find this cache on our way.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Nice spot. Thanks for bringing me here to find your cache...the Aussie branch of the GronwoldFamily/Dobie's Pride.

Found it while checking out a bushwalk in the area. Thanks to pjmpjm for the cache.
Tftc. Found it second time around... Make sure when you stand on fossil lookout you look at the fossil you are standing on
Staying briefely in Katoomba before returning to Melbourne.
Nice spot with a good view.
Thanks pjmpjm.

Thanks pjmpjm.
Next cache on the morning search for caches around Katoomba. We had to park around the bend and then walk back to GZ where the cache was soon located.
