Its always nice to see a different part of the town while you are out and about and this was a good reason to do so. We were a bit worried when we arrived as we often have bad luck on these structures but this one came up ok.

A great area to go caching in and it is so great there are caches for us to find when we visit the Port. Such a scenic area. We ventured out to find this one with Grub Fred. Thankyou SquiresSquire for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Find No: 6837. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at DiMorgan's for their Australia Day event, out for the day with Liz and Bruce, thanks for the cache SquiresSquire!!
I failed to catch a bus here some five years ago [:o]
Today was a Sunday and I was again free of the terror of skool buses turning up
After a chat with the neighbour who knows what's going on,
I got down to searching,
and soon tracked down this little cache today
TFTC.
PS: That clue's misleading

With a D 3.5 Rating we were surprised at the eventual find. Being a Sunday there weren't many muggles around so log was signed and replaced in the same spot I had found it. Thanks SquiresSquire for bringing us to a new area of Wauchope we would never have discovered if not for geocaching.
We had a preconceived idea again, but it was much easier to find than we thought. Lots of muggles nearby in the houses.
Thanks for placing this cache SquiresSquire.

**# 21061** Found on our 2018 mega adventure to ACT, NSW, QLD and beyond.
Another fine sunny Autumn day for a drive to Wauchope.
Many school age muggles around today and a few good hides.
Found it in a very public place and unsafe so returned it to a much safer spot.
Thanks for the cache SquiresSquire,

We had tried this one previously but with two very interested neighbours it was hard to search. Today we made an easy find of it. TFTC
We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event. We have found ourselves based in Port Macquarie for a few days which has enable us to spend some time exploring some of the nearby towns.
Today, we took a drive out toward Wauchope, exploring a few 4WD tracks which ended up taking us south as far as Herons Creek for the day [^] We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you SquiresSquire for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Logging a DNF, we tried and we had discussions with a neighbour. I think the CO needs to check on this one after what he had to say about workers.
In the area today as part of a mission to gather some numbers. I generally try to find 1000 caches a year and I may well fall short - but at least not without a fight!
A quickish find which was a bonus in the heat. TNLN TFTC

Wow, this was very close to being a DNF. We must have circled the shelter 20 times. Tried a few more places and bingo, the cache was found. Log and plastic bag have seen better days. Thanks for the cache.
We often wonder why we live where we do. Especially when it's winter. The north coast has certainly be turning the beautiful weather on for us Victorians. Lovely warm sunny days are much appreciated and add to the joys of caching.
This one took a bit of looking for before we got to sign the log. the cache and container are in great condition

Camo is looking well worn...bag needs replacing, sorry didnt have one with us. TFTC
Lovely area with some fine homes. TFTC - the container has certainly seen better days but all is in order.
A quick find while exploring this area of Wauchope. Some lovely houses around here. TFTC
Geokid H found very promptly today. Gorgeous sunshine today. Cache is looking a little worse for wear maybe time to be checked on?
I am working on completing my Jasmer and needed a cache to fill a missing month from the Port macquarie area. Mr Minion suggested we make a weekend of it, so I thought I would look at completing a challenge as well. To find 25 unique difficulty/terrain combinations in a day. We set of from home at around 4am and finished around 6pm. This was cache number 24 for the day and we were running out of spare options , so really wanted this one . we looked everywhere high but the cache was not high at all as it turned out , So very glad mr minion made the find so we could continue on. thanks for the cache Squiressquire tnln sl
Found it. The lady in the garden across the road probably thought I was a paedophile.
This was unexpectedly a fun cache for us. We were visiting family in Port and we had effectively dragged Purple's cousin out for the day caching. I should add she is also 7 months pregnant. Choosing Smurfette (on the spot, apologies to any real Smurfettes out there) as her name we all set to search GZ.
About to give UP, Smurfette chose her own method of searching and came up with the goods - her very first find. Yaaay. Worn out or just non-plussed/bemused by caching this was also the last for Smurfette for the day.
Purpledarkness of course had more caches to hunt down.

Spending the day out as a family, we first visited the miniature trains for the geokids before doing a few caches for the geoparents. After reading the difficulty rating Mr Staybe was up for the challenge, while Mrs Staybe remained in the car doing further homework on the cache. Mr Staybe went around and around the bus shelter, he then stretched up and got down but had no luck. Returning to the car defeated, he offered Mrs Staybe the opportunity to search while he waited in the car with the geokids. After what felt like 60 seconds Mrs Staybe was back with cache in hand, asking for a pen. Thanks for the cache. SLTNLN.
After work whilst waiting for the family to drive up and join me for a weekend at Port I had time to find a couple of caches. This was my first stop and it was a bit of the spur of the moment cache as I was originally going to drive by the area. Found quickly. TFTC
Sweet little cache. Cheers. . Everything us in reasonable order, geokids het to it a bit.. its had a hrad life. Lol.... found it with my gf.. she tried to throw off to the other end, eyes on the ball i sa uh sister!... yolo
Nice find, thank you for placing this cache for us to find. We replaced the log for you as it was full. sl tmln.
Was meant to say Tftc. Something went wrong with autocorrect before I noticed and posted.
Daddy Geo couldn't find it, it took Mummy's eyes! Careful of the massive huntsman under the seat!!!!
Our last day in Port Macquarie, so we headed out to pick up some caches on the edge of town.
Cache was found after a short search, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, SquiresSquire, for us and others to find.

Sarah must have been a notable person in this area, she has a crescent, a bus stop and a creek named after her....today we were only interested in her bus stop. The school buses had been and gone hours ago and the neighbourhood was quiet so it was a safe time to head to the bus stop. Glad it was, for a simple hide we managed to stretch out the search longer than necessary. TFTC SquiresSquire.
Our final day in Port we headed to the pacific highway the other way out. with a slight detour back around we eventually made it home. Found with earthly and robbieracer thanks for the cache. Quick find. Hint didnt help as we had to go down not up.
A case of cache creep or was it "the other up", hehe...not where we expected it to be from hint...found with robbieracer66 and brad1987. . . tftc
Bit of cache creep here!...Found with earthly65 and brad1987 on our caching long weekend in Port Macquarie....TFTC
something has gone wrong with the caches hide!! easy find, tried to panel beat container back into shape ! included a piece of paper for log... thanks SquiresSquire....(.needs a bit of TLC...)
We weren't sure if we had the right bus stop as my phone had died but we found it easily and replaced it back where we found it. New log required TFTC
Someone has damaged container and left out in the open. Needs a new container. Will sign log and place back in safe place.
Found at 1813 while on a geocaching trip in the Port Macquarie area. Took a bit of searching but we found it in the end Think it may have been moved from where the hint suggest it should be. TFTC.
Teamdfl and I are heading south to the Port Macquarie region for a 4 day week-end of caching.
Today was day for caching. My aim is to find 25 different caches which have different Terrain / Difficulty ratings.
I believe I have made it but there are a couple of challenge caches included in the list.
I did find a couple of 'spares' just in case.
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

Day two of the trip and today was all about Brother Colin. He is attempting to find 25 caches with different D/T combinations. I am just along to steer the geomobile
This one had an unusual D/T combo so we dropped by. I don't know what time of day it was when we were here, but we had the place to ourselves.
We hunted in the usual spots. High, low. Over under. The hint helped and ona second lap Brother Colin spotted it

12:20 Doesn't time fly. It's over two years since I was out here with pprass and we didn't find it. He came back shortly afterwards with success, but it has taken me all this time to get back. TFTF SquiresSquire.
Hey this one was too easy to find. Retrieval was a little more problematical. However cache was signed and returned. Did a little impromtu cleanup.

Nice hide Squiressquire,
A pleasant distraction after a job at Eric drive around the corner

Funny one this for some reason we took the 4wd version of the track when there was a perfectly good road but still heaps of fun.
# 4521. We had passed this one on the way to the Animal Shelter cache so decided to stop for a look on the return trip. I was with a previous finder but even so it took 5 minutes or so before the sneaky hide was located. Don't think I would have found it on my own. A favourite for this, even though I don't like bus shelter hides. TFTC
Tricky little hiding spot! Keep trying & it will be in the last place you look! TFTC.
Nothing found today, which was a Saturday
So no skool chids !!
An Eclipse tin should be pretty easy to spot in a spot like this spot [:o)]
Or maybe my cache blindness is playing up again
