After yesterdays 37 degree caching trip I decided to wait until the afternoon after the cool change had come through before I headed out for a couple of hours today.
It was a much more pleasant 25 degrees so I decided to do a few multis and ended up finding 5 and DNFing 1 of them.
While heading towards another multi I stopped here anyway and after a short walk and then an even shorter walk in very long grass in my thongs, I made the find.
Thanks dagobert1 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Spotted from some distance off but heart was in the mouth walking through the long grass to retrieve and replace the cache. Many thanx to Dagobert1
Find #2422
After a DNF at the wetlands this morning I couldn't resist coming by again on the way home from work to try another cache. I almost got wet feet here but planned my route to GZ carefully to avoid this. Once at GZ I looked around and once at the right angle I spotted it. Was able to grab the cache and replace before any passing muggle came by. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache dagobert1. Back to my (likely illegal) parking spot and back on the journey towards home.

Spotted this cache almost immediately but with so much recent rain getting to it was going to require a bit more time and effort. Found some handy tools on site which allowed me to pave the way to GZ. A quick sign of the log and replaced as I had found. TFTC
Parked the car at the viewing platform and thought this was just a short walk, wrong, should have driven a bit closer. Found the cache quite quickly, despite heaps of muggles walking along the track. TFTC. SL. Thanks for bringing us to this spot. Great view. Cheers.
A slight detour home tonight to find this cache. Did have to be mindful of muggles. A pretty quick find though something fell out into the grass and I didn't take the time to look for it. I was keen to get out of the long grass. Sorry and TFTC
Aha. Nice hide. When you have to go to Frankston so geo-hub can go to the dentist, you may as well go caching too.
On a cycle tour of the wetlands with jcody picking up a couple of caches on the area.

The last of Ri and Dad's early Sunday adventure, this one took some searching before Dad spotted the prize almost accidentally. SL and carefully returned as it was now late enough for many more people to be out enjoying the morning sun. TFTC
Nice. Surprised I haven't seen more of this kind of arrangement so far in real life (as opposed to in beginners guides etc). Then again maybe all my DNFs have been of this style and I didn't think to look out for it. Thanks!
Out on a lovely walk with friends, turned the app on to see if any nearby caches and what would you know only a few meters away! Sorry had no pen so photo as proof sorry!!
11th today. Out visiting a few caches in an area we have never been before. Our youngest son and family have moved into the area so a visit to them results in doing a few caches. Deciduous helps.

Found parking by the school. Needed to hike into tall grass to make the grab. Concerned about snakes. Made the grab. TFTC AZLovers
Managed a quick find after noticing this somewhat obvious hide in this out of the way area. Thanks dagobert1 for the cache.
Not to be deterred on a warm day by the previous logger's sight of a snake, we headed in and then quickly Happy pants had his eye on the cache. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here and showing us these wetlands.
Went to grab this cache on a sunny afternoon bike ride, started walking towards GZ and saw a massive brown snake in the grass right where my phone was leading me. Decided to call it quits and come back on a cooler day!
Use caution in the vicinity of this cache!

Steve & Steph, Steph and Steve decided to go caching in Stephs local area, and caching led us to this lovely area )
Having had a DNF on this one's predecessor I was a bit worried today but I needn't have been - a well placed hide that should be findable to cachers but not so to the casual muggle. That sail house nearby is quite impressive, as is the boat in the back yard.
I have found several of your caches today thanks Dogabert1.

Geo wife found this one quickly. The kids feet ran out of steam, so I ran back around the other side of the wetlands and got the car. TFTC.
Found a park close by and strolled into the GZ. Plenty of muggle destruction about. Cache was well hidden and fun to find. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kems
Found 1:34pm , find # 2531
After a trip to the shopping centre at Patterson Lakes and lunch at The Cove with Pam, my wife, I looked for nearby caches.
This one was the closest unfound cache and so we headed for it.
I parked in Armstrong Rd and we walked the couple of hundred metres to GZ.
I was a bit wary as it was a micro in the bush and hadn't been found for nearly three months.
In a tree near GZ I saw something which was a possibility. I got my head to within about 100cm and I thought I had it, but what I
had thought was a fake bird suddenly decided keeping still wasn't working for it, and it flew away.
Soon afterwards I spotted the cache.
It was in absolutely perfect condition, so I signed the log and returned everything to its place.
I have no idea why it has been unloved for so long.
We then started to head for another cache in the series about 500m away in the centre of the wetlands. Something about a wet weather timetable came over the public address system from the nearby school, so I checked the weather radar on my phone, and we got such a shock we called off any further caching and dashed back to the car, just in time as it turned out.
Thanks dagobert1.

This was not hard to spot at this time of the year. Mother nature has left it quite exposed at the moment.
Very windy today but a nice short walk to reach cache.

If this one had teeth, it would have bitten me. I confess I felt a bit silly when I saw the container.

As the light was fading we were a bit wary of attempting to find this cache. Fortunately the geo light shined and our name was soon added to the log.

We found this cache today at 5:50pm as the 12th of 15 on a frustrating day at the cache by the bay. Now that's the way to hide a micro in an area like this. A nice cute hide and our 6th cache find in this park. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.
The start of another brilliant TDC (The Demolition Crew) run which saw us travel from central Melbourne all the way down to Mornington, collecting over 30 finds for the night. Some great caches and great company. We were 4 up for a while being myself, TrailRunning, Quasar3671 and Rebel Acts, some hard-hitters there to be sure... But Q had to part company early in the night, to head to Brisbane in his new Prado for family matters. My first time caching with Rebel Acts, and what a fantastic bloke, and a fantastic night had by all. Really enjoyed how the team worked all together, it was a lot of fun.
Well found by TR. Some nice cache locations around the wetlands here. TFTC.

Another Monday night comes around and I have just arrived back from a great non-caching weekend near Benalla. Blacklegend is on his way down from Tocumwal and is ready to roll on a great route planned for The Demolition Crew. As Quasar3671 is moving north to Brisbane later tonight, the crew only have a few hours together for what was to be a great night's run down to Mornington.
With Quasar3671 having to leave at about 8 pm, the third spot for the night appeared out of the blue in the form of RebelActs who was looking to do some night caching on his own before he called me and asked to join in. Absolutely I say, and he is soon on the way to Seaford to catch us there. The run started in central Melbourne with the members of TDC who hadn't collected Magnum Opus signing the log (All the members of TDC have now complete the Danozz puzzle series!).
This cache was one of the caches I signed tonight. We stoped here on our failed attempt to access the "don't get spotted" cache nearby. After a brief search I soon came up with the goods.

Met up with the TDC to do a bit of night caching, this was the first one for the night for me, nice hide, Thanks for the cache.
A very well put together cache. Hunted every where for some time with no luck. Then Pea bear said ' I think it could be in a ?????? ' & it was. A fav from me. TFTC
What an awesome hide, almost gave up... glad we didn't. Found in the company of Natasha. Fav point from me. TFTC
DNF Got to GZ and started to get worried. After no find after a few minutes I read the bit that said "need to have good eyesight" and my heart sank. I have LOUSY eyesight. Gave it a few more minutes but had to admit defeat.
Three well-hidden micros and three DNF's to start the day!

A beautiful sunny afternoon for the first day of Spring was an ideal time to come and complete this cache. In spite of the fantastic weather there were no muggles using the path, and the cache was soon found. There was a lovely gentle breeze that was causing the nearby reeds to rustle. Thanks dagobert1 for the cache.
Searched here for quite a while without luck, possibly due to my eyesight issues after reading the description.
Having found a few dagobert1 caches I had an idea what I was looking for, but couldn't find.
Maybe next time.
Thanks anyway.

A neat little hide but I managed to find it just on dark. I have never explored in this area before but will definitely be back. With
Nice construction but make sure you push it the right way as it comes out easy! Out with slink 1 and my son for a quick stoll. TFTC SL
A quick find at 1220 to the accompaniment of a chorus of barking dogs. Great camouflage.
Thanks dagobert1.
Thanks dagobert1.
This is a well used path as we saw many muggles walking their dogs along here. Fortunately they didn't really disturb the hunt and the cache was found after a short search. TFTC
We came over to Carrum downs for a discount camping gear sale and this cache was kind of on the way home.
Well, a little off route, but that's not really an issue. Geared up EB Nano with his own gpsr to use and following the popular bike path we soon arrived at GZ, where EB Nano loudly announced that he had "1 metre from here".
Fortunately it only took a few minutes of searching before we found the most excellent hide.
Good one.
Thanks dagobert1 for the cache

Found @ 7:35pm, Find # 1187.
Had some business to attend to in the same area as this cache, so I stopped by for a look.
By reading the previous logs, I had a good idea what I was looking for so when I arrived at GZ I made a very quick find in the first place I looked.
Thanks to dagobert for this cache.

Well after about a 20 Min search it was time for PAF Help line.
Which comfirmed what type of hide it is but even after the PAF.
The cache was not going to give up & with the muggels starting to frequent this track it was time to consead defeat.
I Will be Back.
Might be an idea for the CO to check on the cache to comfirm that the cache is infact still there & not carryed away by a Dog muggle.

STF With two new caches in the area, and having an hour or so to spare, I decided to try and find some of the new caches that had been published about here recently.
I'd come past the day before and after a short search got muggled out so back today for a more thorough and muggle free look. After a very long search, and almost ready to give up I finally located the hide. Sneaky one too.
Thanks for the cache.

*FTF* First to arrive at this one but could not make the find before Kellyhaunts arrived. We kept search and soon ZombieDogs arrived, searched some more then Starruby arrived. I had not been at GZ for a good part of 40 minutes. Then I check what I had checked before but a little better and the cache was found for a joint FTF. We all stuck around for a little chat before heading our ways. TFTC
Sprinted from Seaford station and was just in time to introduce self and watch c@h find it! Totally worth it. Going to lie down now.
Joint *FTF* with C@H, Kellyhaunts and ZombieDogs. I had rung Covert when the alert came through, expecting that he would be already dashing out the door. I was driving home from work and a bit far away from an imminent arrival ...
He called me back just as I was home (my thinking - not a chance - everyone will have been and gone) ...
I flew down to the wetlands to join him and Kellyhaunts, and we were joined shortly by ZombieDogs who had run from the Seaford railway station, arriving just in time to see Covert reveal the hide. TFTC

A very clever and hard to detect hide - Concentration and focus is the key
I will fav this one!!
