If we had seen all the DNFs we would not have bothered to look for this one in the rain. A nice walk and area but disappointed with a DNF.
Had a bit of a look in multiple possible locations but didn't see it.
Surprising number of muggles about and I had to move on so didn't get a good chance to look for it. Nice spot though!
This coordinated are very accurate so I was standing exactly in front of the cache and I did not really to search. Nice view!
Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
After a big sleep in Bicheno it was time to find the last few caches in town before exploring Freycinet NP and beyond.
We both made the short walk to this one but it was Mrs Felix who spied the cache as the GPSr was catching up. Too overcast today to take any pics. Waves were crashing on the wave deflection wall whilst here.

Geovan left own at the pondering frog, back into town for the Tasmanian Devil Experience, bit of time to kill before the bus, so what better to do than a few caches.
Despite a muggle sitting on a nearby rock, found this one easily, Thanks jamesvdm for taking us for a walk.

Together with Spade52 I traveled for almost 6 weeks through Down Under Australia. We made our trip, using a Spaceship rental car, visiting the 5 most southern states of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Australia Capital Territory. I was the driver and Spade52 the navigator. We mostly avoided the motorways and mainly used the coastal roads that led us through many small nice and rustic villages and sleeping towns. We stayed in motels, backpacker hostels and occasionally a campsite. Luckily the weather was very agreeable during our trip with nice temperatures and little rain. We especially enjoyed the nature, the (for us) extraordinary flora and Australia's wildlife. On our trip we visited many geocaches. All CO's thanks for showing us many interesting and special spots.
With UnderDownUnder we are doing the Explorer 6 tour, traveling through Tasmania with an international group of people. Today the trip went from LAUNCESTON to BICHENO.
We made a morning walk at Cataract Gorge in the heart of Launceston before making our way to the East Coast and the beautiful Bay of Fires. Here we stretched our legs with some quality time to enjoy this highly recommended coastal region (Lonely Planet’s must see for 2009). The beaches were gleaming and the water inviting, but the wind was firm. No conditions for a swim. We enjoyed Tasmania’s most scenic coastal drive from St Helen’s to Bicheno.
On the way we visited several geocaches at places that we had a break or that we paid a visit to. At GZ of this geocache we easily found the cache container. Very nice hide.

A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

A delightful find. The seal muggle that crawled up on the rocks to sun ignored us as we took pictures of the scene and seal. Very entertaining. TFTC
Beautiful day for sunning on the rocks. The seal seemed to think so as well! The rocks reminded us of the ones around Georgian Bay (on Lake Huron) in Ontario, Canada. The view was outstanding and the cache found easily. Thanks for bringing us here!!
Meandered our way across the rocks to GZ admiring the view along the way. La Kedi's GPS had her in a different area to mine and I was beginning to wonder if I had the right spot when I spotted a possible hide. Presto! There it was. Thanks Jamesvdm.
Yes, I would have to agree; Bicheno indeed be very rocky! As can my in-car GPS system, trying to direct me along a pedestrian path for kilometre after kilometre... Fortunately, old-fashioned navigation skills and common sense prevailed, and I managed to get myself to the perfect car park to begin our rocky walk. Around to GZ we headed, arriving at the extra-rocky spot in good shape but then finding our GPSrs bouncing around like kangaroos, so back to the old-fashioned search process we went. The Marble found it while I pottered around at a higher altitude. Photos taken, the location duly admired, and we returned along the conveniently marked rock path. TFTC, Jamesvdm. =^.^=
Oh my goodness I found this on 2/1/15 with Vancatmeow. I must have got distracted watching the mum and baby penguin! Sorry for very late log! xD
Found while holidaying in Taz and visiting. On our way back up the coast. Nice walk on the rocks, nice day compared to last visit. TFTC
What a great spot. We've been doing a tour of Tasmania, and finding the odd caches along the way. This one completes the 'compass' for me, having already found one on the northern, southern and western coasts. Thanks for bringing me out here.
Yay, our very first success, little wares loved free running on the rocks, woolly enjoyed the view.
After arriving in town for the night and finding that food didnt start till 17:30 I walked down to this one from the hotel. At least tonight it was light while I was searching and it was a good job since it was well hidden and I would have been a lot longer if it had been dark.
Thanks for the cache.

Whilst staying in Bicheno I just had to go caching even though it was raining. TFTC
On our 3 week holiday in Tassie we did a couple of caches - and this was one of them. Quick find. Thanks for hiding the caches.
Last of the active Bicheno caches for me today. Parked at nearby hotel and walked the 200m to GZ to begin search. Luckily the second spot I investigated turned up the goods.

Found during our two weeks trip in Tassie. Such a lovely island, some great places to visit. TFTC!
Found the cache but also found a couple of penguins in their hideout under a nearby rock!
We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Nice spot. We admired the beautiful colour of the ocean here, The cache was well hidden and took a bit of searching before we came up with the goods.
Thanks for the fun Jamesvdm!

Found this one together with parneq already in January while travelling in Tasmania. TFTC!
Couldn't find it bit scared of all the tiger snakes people been talking about... maybe next time
Have been in town for the east coast orienteering events. Nice spot though overcast and cool today. Thanks Jamesvdm.
Very windy the 28th! Our GPS was having a bad moment And it was getting cold!
Stopt looking when we looked a penguin in the eyes who was hiding under a rock! I hope the cache is not under that rock!
Greetings from Holland

Doing all the Bicheno caches in one day today. Such a great holiday spot and this was a nice picnic location. TFTC
Here on a still morning which really let us enjoy being out on the point. Cache easily found and though no lid is in good shape. NINO TFTC
A bit of a search after a rock scramble led to a signed log. A fantastic location for a cache. Thanks to Jamesvdm for the hunt.
Found with Gonefishen07, Hears068 and my cuz. We came to tassie for a quick trip. Sightseeing and caching on the menu. We had a great time while here and will hopefully be back soon. Thanks to those that placed caches to make our holiday fun. TFTC
A quick trip to tassie with my caching buddies Hearse068, Zobo04 and Hearse068's geo child. Just the the scenery over here you have some really beautiful spots to visit. Unfortunately we only had a couple day so we tried to cram a bit into those days. Made a quick find more stunning views cache needs a little TLC
Found with Gonefishen07, Zobo04 and my geo son on a quick trip to Tassie to do some sight seeing and some caching. Our last cache in Bicheno time to move on. ZoBo04 found this one. Log book is full and needs replacing. SL TFTC

I was followed by some muggles right to where I wanted to hunt but they soon took off after taking a few photos. I spotted the cache quickly. Stamped and returned as found.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 week trip around beautiful Tasmania soaking up the sights after visiting here almost 8 years ago. This time the little Na'wals are with us and some caching is to be done. We had a wonderful time time even the the terrible weather that we uncounted most of the time here.
[blue]Thanks for this Cache James vdm TNLN[/blue]

Found on early morning walk! Logbook is not in good condition. Thanks for showing this nice place and greetings from Germany! Muggelkunde
Third find for today as we head south on our too short trip to this isle. Had lunch, then thought that we had better grab this one as it was only 200m away. However the sneaky hide and a few wandering muggles, not to mention the cantankerous phone compass had us wandering around for longer than we should have been. Finally noticed the hideout and grabbed the cache. As mentioned, the log needs replacement as it currently consists of a bundle of loose pages. SL and replaced cache.

A quick find before having to rescue geoson who had fallen into the ocean. All good though. TFTC.
Heading to St Helens for Tas Orienteering Champs. Had tried for this nearly 12 months ago but only found the penguin. Then it was a cold, windy and rainy day. Today was beautiful, the sea green and everything ready for the quick find that we made. Delighted to succeed this time. Great location (when the weather is right).

Great day. TFTC TNLN we put it back as found but a bit concerned that it is a bit obvious, tried to cover it over a bit more.
Great find second for the day. Little windy. Trying for a third next. On the other side of the point.
Almost got blown away by the wind, but a great little spot to sit and watch the waves crash in. TFTC
Pleasant walk. The seals were now in the water. Finding this one meant that we had found all 5 in Bicheno.
It was a nice walk down to this cache, watching some dolphins (I think!) playing in the bay on the way. We had no problem finding the cache.
