The original cache and the object to which it was attached has been demolished. A new cache is being created and will be located nearby.
TaurusSix and I had a look for this cache. My GPSr kept pointing to a smashed up seat. Checked the nearby trees but could not see a cache.
In Lakes Entrance for the car rally this weekend and had a few minutes spare whilst helping the set up of the town stage this evening. Checked the iPhone and saw this cache was very close to where we were setting up the start control so took a short walk and started hunting. Spotted something almost immediately I arrived at GZ and it was the cache - nice quick find this time. Thanks to grey nomads for this one.
Passed by this one but there was a car parked a little too close to GZ. Had a quick look but couldn't really do it justice without looking too suspicious. Thanks anyway.
After lots of searching, and joining forces with Lisa.Jane.pompei team of 5 we all found it
Day two of a challenge trip to East Gippsland with BettyBoo3747.
Rode around Lakes Entrance on the deadly treadlies, and were discovered by the locals crawling over a large pump.
The area certainly wasn't overwhelmed today - not a soul to be seen.
It did make the search a lot easier. Interesting hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9777. Our first full day at Lakes Entrance (Kalimna) and we hopped on the bikes and rode into town, admiring the scenery and gathering a few caches along the way. It was a beautiful day for a ride.
It was fairly choppy on the water here but a lovely spot to be, to search for a cache. A sneaky little hide. I liked this one.
Thanks greynomads

Tricky hide, but spotted it after checking out a few of the more obvious places.
Thanks

Night caching. Nothing more suspicious. Managed to squeeze a signature into the logbook.
This was a quick find with absolutely no muggles around at 8pm. We spent about 10 mins trying to get the log out of the cache, but a very nice hide indeed.
After a brief search knew where the cache was located as have seen this type before. Had to wait for the muggles to move on for a quick retrieve, sign and replace.. thanks..!!
We only had time for a quick handful of caches in Lakes today, and with all the fav points on this one it is well worth a look - well actually a second look for us. We'd had a quick scout around last time we were up here but the daylight, the muggles and the weather were all against us, so it was best left for another day, and that day had finally arrived. Hardly anyone was around in the late afternoon so we had a good opportunity to have a proper look. Mr2max came up trumps after about 10 minutes or so. A great little cache, our thanks to poiter.h and the greynomads for a clever little hide. SL
Had trouble with this one today and the rain made it worse. GPS jumping around everywhere.
Sneaky little cache - but co-ords spot on as GPS led us straight to it.
Beautiful late Sunday afternoon, geokids spotted jelly-fish in the lake while
I relaxed, signed the log & took a few photos.
This was my 2nd go at this one - last time beaten by the rain.

Found this one today on day 2 of my caching holiday. Today was a quiet day with just a few higher difficulty caches gotten. This was the first for the day and it was an easy find on a very pleasant day with no muggles around. Signed log only.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found by 9 year old geochild almost immediately. Took way longer to extract the log. Enjoyed the view. Thanks Silkyie
Had lunch there and watched the pelicans and black swans. Then we went to the cache for desert.
Had an ah ha moment and came up with council property. Oops - not there. Thought a bit more and got it right. Thanks for an interesting cache.
Thought we had this one all figured out when we visited in the afternoon. Unfortunately there was a man playing the bagpipes at GZ ( he was excellent) and what with him standing there and muggles standing listening, the whole thing was a impossible. Dived in early the next morning in the rain but was totally wrong. A short search led the the cache. Thanks for an enjoyable experience.
Didn't even start to look. I don't the no hint bizzo. I have trouble if the cords are spot on let alone when they are out like it sounds like this one is. Nice spot though.
Our first cache of the day and our last at Lakes Entrance. Very well made and clever idea. Was able to discretely collect the prize. TFTC
We searched for 3/4 hr, everywhere, but epic fail
Must be well disguised lol
Searched way out side DZ too

We decided to head down to Gippsland for the Easter long weekend: a great excuse to go caching and perhaps discover some 4WD tracks a little further away from home.
Found this cache on our leisurely Saturday evening walk in Lakes Entrance.

We found ourselves in a lovely little park for this cache with some of the most laid back pelicans we have ever seen, they let Mrs Jacko get up nice and close to get some terrific photos. While she was doing this i went on the hunt for the cache.....and spent a long time looking. After eliminating a lot of possible areas i widened my search slightly and eventually came up with the goods. This was one of those caches that is very well hidden, yet so obvious once you know it is there.

Found with ornursie79. Very clever! Had to search with instinct rather than using co-ords because we were way off.

Found after some search but great hide. Thanks. Found with ornursie72 and geodriver
No luck here, coordinates have you I. The middle of three places, searched what I would call a facility but no joy
It only lasted 6 weeks before going amiss again. We will look for a different placement position soon.

After a couple of searches for this one we finally found it or maybe we are just getting better at this size cache. Thanks greynomads for the cache
6th find of the day. Don't think we would have found it had we not bumped into a geocacher who had just found it. Our first micro cache. Great location and views. TFTC.
Took a little while to find this. Gps was off. But Ako was on. Found after a couple of searches of the usual spots until it was in hand.
I was down in East Gippsland for work today.
There was a cache or 5 that I had to get whilst in the area and this was the last of the 5 caches I had set out to get.
I did not require my GPSr as I knew exactly where this cache was hidden. (Well, so I had thought)
I did a bit of searching around and spotted where the original cache had been, so I searched some more and I finally came up with the goods.
But wait there is more........
This cache (the cache I found) was the original cache that the greynomads had had originally placed to replace the original cache that I had originally placed!!!!
So, was there another cache in place, to replace the original cache that the greynomads had placed, to replace the original cache that I had placed, which I still had to find.[?]
I read the previous logs that the greynomads posted, and started my search again. It didn't take too long before the cache that replaced the cache the greynomads had originally placed to replace the cache that I had originally placed was located.
I had signed both logs and phoned the greynomds to let them know of my finds.

The first part of our 6-week-journey in Australia took us from Sydney to Melbourne and also led us to this hiding place. Unfortunately, we had no success.

A NEW cache container (a micro) has been installed very close to the original container, coordinates are the same. cheers.............
The cache container has gone missing and the facility looks like it has been disabled. We will relocate shortly.

I saw some pics of this find, same GZ but the concept has completely changed from the clever micro. FOr the record, I liked the original better and think it's best to note such changes. Happy caching!
We're here on an anniversary long weekend away staying at Kalimna Woods. We set off doing a couple of caches here then over to L.E. We had a bit of a drive around looking at the shops (which we plan to check out in more detail on Monday) then found some more caches.
When we arrived here there was an elderly lady sitting on the seat so we took a walk up to the War Memorial which has poppies flowering all around it. Very sobering. By the time we walked back the lady was gone so we set to searching. It took a few goes but we finally found the "nice" hide ..... Hmmmmm first time I have called "that" nice lol

An earlier visit in pouring rain and cold wind made us leave without finding the cache. As the weather improved had we stopped again on our way to the bowls club for dinner. This time we were in luck and found the little bugger! TFTC
We weren't sure what we would find with this cache and again it was a case of preconceptions being wrong - that happens all the time! A very quick find in the rain in the third place we looked. We ran back to the car to sign the log so it didn't get wet. Loved it, well done. TNLNSL TFTC
Another day on the caching trail. A variety of caches were encountered and eventually conquered, making for an enjoyable and liesurely day out. How nice to be outdoors in the fresh air rather than being cooped up inside.
Many thanks Poiter.h for placing this cache .

After checking in at the caravan park we headed up to Lakes Entrance to meet up with Micaparamedic to find some local cache's. We did finally find this one in a place we had already looked at.

Suscoe's 3rd find of the morning as we were heading further west today.
A really nice hide here and we were happy to be able to log this one.
All quiet here today and thanks to Poiter.h for another nice hide, a favourite from us.
The lake is very still today.

Cute one, nicely crafted. Even has its own 8-legged guardian, at least when visited today. Unfortunately, the log is soaking wet - no chance to log. Photo proof available if required for logging by owner. TFTC.
What a great micro. The cache is wet and the paper is breaking up. TFTC Poiter.h
We were so confused at first. Where was the GPS pointing? After a while we decided we needed to trust our GPS, but still couldn't see anything. Reading past logs I decided it had to be here. Going for another look, I spotted something slightly different, and there it was! What an ingenious cache! We loved it.
