My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
Wow what a interesting bridge, lost in time. Once I overcame the parking issue and a walk thru tall grass I had the straightforward cache in hand. Log chewed on by snails but still ok. Tftc
What a great old bridge. Found a Geo Trail into the bridge from the Wagga side of the highway. Once there the hint says it all. Bright place to come. TFTC.
Very cool old bridge, found cache in the open so put it back together, good hide tooThanks for the cache
Great place for a cache, took a moment to work out the entry route (as I was wearing the wrong shoes). Camo was found away from cache but I replaced it as I thought it should go. Nice to see healthy fish in the creek below.
Nice location, quick find when we reached the bridge. Be wary of traffic, long grass etc.

TFTF. Such a pretty place with the creek running underneath. Was a bit of an adventure getting to the bridge due to road and long grass but worth it
**Found whilst en route to Corowa from Wagga**
After saying ciao to The Empire, Happy Feet and Happy Pants *and* after grabbing a coffee, I headed out to grab a few caches as I make the long way back to Corowa.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s in the Royal Australian Air Force. It certainly has changed A good time was had by all these couple of days with good memories made and many laughs had.
A nice quick find was made here. Thanks for the cache HINCO and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts.

Finding somewhere to park here was a bit of a challenge. Ended up walking back to the bridge and getting covered in spider webs along the way. A quick find once I got to GZ though. A nice bit of history worth a cache.

With a packed car and on our way down to our hotel for new year's, we got a call saying our trip had to be cancelled. We had two choices - go back to Sydney or find somewhere else. After some searching on Google maps BarberBlackSheep and I decided to head down to Wagga Wagga instead.
This was the 3rd find on our trip! We parked across the road and made our way through the long shrub to this cute old bridge. The obvious cache stood out so it was found in no time.

Spent a good hour searching. Either it’s no longer here or it needs to be labeled difficult
Searched top of bridge but no luck. Been a long time since anyone found, owner needs to check whether cache is still there
When I was up at Ungarie a few weeks ago and I started the WWW trail I hatched a plan. I knew the rest of my family was going away for the school holidays and so I decided that I would head to Wagga for an overnight trip and try and find 100 caches in a day for the first time. At that point I had collected 50 (and then last weekend I got 54) in a single day, but triple figures was really only possible with a powertrail - and the one The Drovers had set up was worth the effort. So I took a day off work and headed up to make the attempt before everyone gets back tomorrow. Thankfully the weather was not as hot as yesterday so it was a pleasant day driving the blue road grader on the trails north of Wagga.
Up at 5:30 with the first cache at 6AM and by 4PM I had the 100 caches - in the end I got 117 (1 multi, 2 virtuals, 3 earthcaches and the rest Trads - the one solved puzzle was too busy even at 6:30AM). I saw one big Brown Snake, added a couple of birds to my annual list (including Crimson Chats near Gumly Gumly), and saw lots of Caper Whites. Also got plenty of grazes, banged both shins on logs, got a splinter under one fingernail, and suspect I will lose another after dropping a rock on an unlogged Roostaman hide. Climbed a few trees, founds some clever caches and generally had a fantastic time.
Crossed the river and headed east along the Sturt Highway where there were a few more caches to collect. This was the first - managed to drop the really good pen I found at the wetlands in the long grass and so yet another pen goes down in the name of caching. Walked to the old bridge and read the hint - very clever and log quickly found.

Beautiful little hidden gem! Lovely area to explore once you find it! Found with my daughter and son!
With another day free, I decided on heading out to collect more caches and hopefully receive another souvenir from the current promotion. I decided on doing the loop that goes: Wagga to Kyeamba to Tarcutta and back to Wagga via Borambola. Out a possible 26 finds, I found 24 of them. It was a nice drive along the country roads and I visited many places I wouldn’t have visited otherwise. The trip from Wagga to Kyeamba had a couple of GCA finds and the first half of the W2T/T2W trail created by Roostaman. The next bit of the trip (Kyeamba to Tarcutta) were a lot of park and grabs along the highway. After a nice lunch, at ‘Joes Café’ in Tarcutta, it was time for the final part of the trip was around the back roads of Borambola and finishing with WWBridge#6. This means I only have the final cache in the Wagga bridge series to go. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s for placing and maintaining the caches I found and allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and others. TFTC’s

Decided to stop by this one today as it had a few favourite points! I initially parked on the east side of the bridge, but the grass was SUPPEEER long, and in 34 degree heat there was no way I was walking through.
So got back in the car and drove to the opposite side, parked and found a slightly better access point! The grass was still a bit long however so I slowly made my way and was on watch for any slithery friends!
But it turns out that snakes weren't my problem. But SPIDERS!
The outer container had a huge spider lurking inside of it! Freaked me out for a second but I was super glad it wasn't resting on the container itself.
BEWARE next finder! I signed the log and replaced the camo, but the spider was still on it! SO be careful!
Thanks HINCO

Returning home to wodonga from Wagga area. Close on 100 caches for a 24 hr period I had no time to log every cache individually. I would like to thank all Cache owners for there effort in placement of caches. If there was any problem regarding a cache, I would certainly inform the CO via message or log depending on the issue if any. Cheers.
#3171 Parked just after the bridge and walked over to the other bridge to find what was out of place. Quick find. The river bed was as dry as. On my way to Wagga Wagga for a couple of days. Found a total of 77 with 3 DNFs. Cheers from Canberra. TFBMH HINCO.
We were in Wagga to do the fireworks for the Wagga show and with a bit of time to spare this morning we thought that we would head off to try and find a few more of our unfound caches in this area.
We have had many trips to Wagga since this cache was placed back in 201 but we just haven't seemed to get out this way but today it was on our list. We could see the old bridge from the road but not a clear way to it so a u-turn was required and we made our way to gz where the cache was located after a walk through the long grass and our name was added to the log.
Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.

Oh no we had taken the wrong road, with [@AngusnmumyAdventures](http://coord.info/PRRD6GG) with goemobile leading us down the track, or as we thought. However we see that there is a cache down this track so what better to do than go find it.
We go on a walking adventure and see what we can find. Of to the historic bridge which once carried all the Traffic along the Sturt Hwy between Wagga & Gundagai, there it is. Wow what an adventure and an great views of a little creek that runs underneath this very sturdy old bridge. Some more of the areas amazing history here.

Nice to see an old bridge that is also easily accessible via a short walk from the road. A good clue meant I spotted something slightly out of place and the cache was there. TFTC.

I had to head to Wagga Wagga to make a presentation at a Scout meeting on Saturday morning. Of course, this gave me a great excuse to come down early and knock off a few caches along the way.
Juno and I spent a fantastic night sleeping on a 'secret' spot on the shores of the 'Bidgee, and then went and completed a little power trail in the early morning.
It was then straight back to Goulburn and home.
Thanks to all of the caches hiders, we will be back in the area soon!

Our day started with a Canada Day Event, local cachers were keen to offer help for caches we had not found during the week. So we set out with renewed confidence and really enjoyed the last day of caching in the Riverina for this trip.
Shanty bridge certainly would not cope with today's traffic.
Thanks HINCO for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
Found it thank you for the hide. Just completed half the RGGT series and have to head four hours home. Found this on our way. Amazing bridge. It is flooded a lot around here after all the rain, and more to come we hear.
Found it . -- 4:30 PM -- SL TNLN TFTH. Thanks for bringing us here.
Travelled 4hrs to attend two events in Junee at the Monte Cristo and the Licorice Factory. Completed the first half of this series as we had to head home a day early due to a couple of factors, one being the threat of the Murrumbidgee flooding which caused us to lose our pre-booked accommodation for the weekend. We hoped for a good find of caches while down here and were not disappointed considering the factors. Impressed with the bridge.

We were glad that we went to look for this cache in winter - would not like to walk through the area in summer when the grass would be longer and snakes possibly in the area. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of an interesting cache - very bold hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks HINCO for the cache.
Came to Wagga to attend an event, so making a weekend of it. Up early to grab a few caches. The grass was long but thankfullly there was some good tracks and a clue Made this easy enough find. The creek is so dry, the area desperately needs rain. I love these old bridges.

I've had to come to Wagga for work a few times over the last few years and since I started caching, I've made a point of finding a few each time I come up. I don't really have time for a lot of caching while I'm here so I have to satisfy myself with one or two each trip. It was Old Shanty Bridge's turn this time.
Quite a clever hide and worth the hunt.

Today B737 & I made a return trip to Wagga Wagga as we notice the RGGT trail had been maintained. I was behind the wheel this time with B737 as navigator. Jetfusalage stayed at home manning the playstation. We'd missed about 9 of the series last time & were keen to complete it. Today it was quite a bit warmer than our last trip & it was interesting to see how the scene had changed. This time it was much drier and we had our first experience of grass seeds in the socks for the summer. We really like Wagga Wagga. It's clearly a prosperous country centre with heaps of caches. But it's quite hard to plan a route around an unfamiliar town. We had a knack of seeking all the most difficult or missing caches and spending way too much time looking for them. We'll just have to come back I guess.
It was a bit nerve-wracking wandering through the long grass, past the 'roo carcass to get to this one, but we like old bridges, so it was worth it.
Thanks for the cache HINCO.

Our third find on a day flight from Canberra with StrangeTrousers as pilot to pick up the rest of the RGGT trail and some others in the vicinity. Really loved this bridge, wouldn't have noticed were it not for the cache, so FP to you for bringing me here HINCO
What a random thing. If it wasn't for the cache here you would completely miss this on the way past. I almost didn't try for it due to the long grass (and I was wearing my territory workbooks - my thongs). However, I pushed through and the very ingenious hiding spot was soon discovered. Took the TB. TFTC
Loved this hidden spot! I finally found the perfect place (that's also big enough) to drop off the bear travel bug I've had for years! He's at least very well travelled!! Help him travel some more!
The long weekend had arrived! What better way than to make the most of it and jump in the car to go on a geo getaway?!
It was time for me to get going back for home so I decided to swing by this one on the way out. Pulled the car over nearby and then wandered down and along to GZ from there to make the nice easy find. Love the camo and this interesting little bridge. Lots of happy frogs nearby as well

Found by Mary & David, at 1603. An old bridge tucked away in the trees. Great camo that, happily, we noticed quickly. Our thanks to HINCO.
Find 119 + 2 DNF's on an overnight trip to Wagga Wagga. Found on our way out of Wagga heading to Tumut. A quick find on an old bridge still in very good nick. Thanks HINCO.
Tricky to access in the dark, with torch off so as to not arouse suspicion from passing traffic. TFTC
