### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Gonefishen07,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.

You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was a great day spent on bikes on the Bass Coast Rail Trail with liambaxter88. Rain was forecast so were really pleased to get through till just after lunch when we had to abandon and not before we had brought up Liam’s biggest ever caching day. I apologise for my logs being largely generic as I didn’t take notes on the day and have been slow to log. A couple of tricky ones here and this wasn’t where we were expecting but the coordinates were good and we made the find. My 37th of 49 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Gonefishen07.

Very cool looking bridge. We were lucky with this one, stopping at the exact point and finding it straight away.

This series was part of my biggest caching day so far! Thanks to AnnoyingTarbit for taking me down here and Gonefishen07 for the time put into the series. We somewhat managed to avoid most of the rain.

Continuing on our adventure after attending the Alexandra Mega Event, we found ourselves spending a few days on Phillip Island. While we tried to take advantage of the many great places to see on the island, we were pre-occupied with trying to complete the qualifying requirements for a particular challenge cache we had signed in Ballarat prior to the Surf Coast Mega Event last year. It really does pay to check the finer details of a challenge cache before you decide to look for it Surprised We had thought you needed to have found 100 caches in Victoria, but it was only when we came to log it that we realised the 100 caches in Victoria had to have been placed by the same cache owner Twisted

Anyway, initially we thought we would complete the challenge by doing the Mt Disappointment caches, but then friends who knew we were heading to Phillip Island told us we would easily qualify for the challenge there, and they would be much more interesting caches Razz Well they were quite interesting, and some of them were downright sneaky Surprised

In the end, we had an enjoyable couple of days exploring Phillip Island and finding a variety of cache hides, with some great walks along some of the beaches and other places Big Grin

Thank you Gonefishen07 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Cool

Beautiful and mostly clear early winter day out with the Geodog. I'd been wanting to talk this series for years as Killy is only a five minute drive from home. Most of the caches in this section were quite easy finds which was handy as it made the walk to Anderson 1 hour 20 minutes and the walk back to Killy 45 minutes. TFTC.

Last one along this section.

Today, we decided to do this section of the rail trail to get out numbers up to 1600 finds, which we did manage to do quite easily. Rain was threatening by the time we started, after getting off the bus from Kilcunda, where we'd left the car, but we never got wet at all.

We found all of the caches quite easily and it didn't take long to traverse the whole trail, with all logs filled and a smiley face for each, from Anderson to the highway at Kilcunda.

Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache and placements. Smile

As I approached gz for this one there was an obvious hiding place that caught my eye. When I checked however, there was no one home, so I looked around and there was the cache just sitting there out in the open. Fortunately it was intact, so I signed the log and put it back safely to where it belonged before moving on. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

#828 - My forth and final day down the coast today and I had decided last night that I would just do a few easy caches on my way back up North. As I drove past Kilcunda though, I ended up surprising myself and parking…

I still had half a rail trail to complete and a bike in the back! Even though I was extremely tired and sore from the last three days of intense caching, my mind was made up and well.. Once a Mountain Goat’s mind is made up, good luck changing it!

So off I rode, completing the second half of the rail trail. Even though the sun was out in full force today, there was no muggles to be seen! This was a huge bonus and sped up my ride considerably as I did need to be getting home!

By the time I hit the end of the rail trail, I had been able to put 45 smileys on caches and only had 7 DNF’s which was a good figure considering the rush I was in. Once again the high standard and variety of caches that awaited me blew me away. Such a well put together series that keeps you interested and always guessing!

Thank you again Gonefishin07 for the time and effort you have put into this series.

We were staying in Korumburra for a couple of days with The Drovers with the main gaol of completing this rail trail and also hopefully picking up a few challenge caches.
Today started off windy and rainy but at least the rain held off long enough for us to do the first leg. On the plus side there were no muggles to worry about as we only passed one other person on the entire track.
We had a fantastic time finding some unusual containers and with only one DNF we can say what a ball we had today.
Many thanks Gonefishen07 for not only the trail but for all the work and effort that you have put into the hides.
We apologise for the generic log but are leaving a favourite point on each one to show our appreciation.

15-Jan-15
Met up with Team Crackers for 2 days, to tackle the Rail Trail and a few local caches.
With the threat of rain, we headed out on the bikes.
We found a good variety of hides, with the odd one being a little tricky.
This is a fantastic trail, and we award each one a favourite point.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

Gps had us looking in slightly wrong place but once we got the right location found it easily. Tricky though. Cap is still missing but log is dry.

01-Jan-15
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, today Mr Felix headed out on the GeoBike to tackle some more of the rail trail.

Knowing that some of these micro's were to be evil not a lot of hope was held for a numbers run today. Wink

Happy New Year! Well seems every muggle from here to Melbourne was out walking or riding the rail trail today. Surprised. It was a struggle but somebody had to do it. Razz.

Beautiful day and the rain held off. An amazing series you have created here. So much hard work and effort has gone into constructing then of course to maintain too. Great work.

Log still dry, but definitely needs repair.

The lid of the cache is missing. We searched around to see if we could find it but it was definitely nowhere to be found. The log is still quite dry surprisingly but not sure if it will stay that way without a lid.

I liked the nearby bridge. This was a tricky little cache. Bek (9) found it first and stood there laughing while Jess and I struggled to find it.

04-Nov-14
Cup Day dawned bright and warm with little wind to speak of, so back on to the rail trail for further adventures.....we started from just past Anderson and walked to Kilcunda with the family. We spent a LONG time looking for this one. We reviewed some of the logs and received enough hints to eventually make the find. Tricky! Na'wal - if your angle was perfect after getting off the bike can I enquire as to whether you "fell" off it? Wink TFTC

04-Nov-14
My 1100th cache, and a suitable challenge it was. Scrambled all over the place and through the tress before reading some logs - duhSad - and finally the little micro was in hand. ompleted the walk from Anderson to Kilcunda along the trail. Another favourite point for the series. TFTC

Out on a caching trip from NZ. Rented some bikes from Cowes on the island and decided to have a cycle along the trail. Enjoyed the gentle grade and the different caches. Luckily for us we had no encounters with the wildlife depicted on the trail markers. TFTC

10-Jun-14
And my second turn around point and my second DNF. REading logs means it is probably there, just a tad tricky for this tired hungry ol' fox! Now to zoom back! Excuse the mainly generic logging. Down on a mission to ride the Bass Coast Rail Trail over a couple of days. Day 1 meant parking at Anderson's ParknRide but didn't realise that related to another type of ride!

Found! BANG! Straight on to this one. My angle was perfect on this one and found immediately after getting off the bike. Love that Smile

The day started for me at 7:25am & I finished at 5:29pm in Wonthaggi. I had the most enjoyable time seeing plenty along the way & enjoyed the variety of cache hides & containers. A brilliant effort and I thank the CO for the most enjoyable day out!

Out with Lozgur for a long awaited day to do part of this trail. perfect day with the sun shining and temp stayed low to mid 20s. We really enjoyed this track as it was a nice easy ride on our bikes and the views were fantastic. The ones we did were an easy find and didn't take too much time to find, with the names of the caches as a hint they were very well named. Can't wait to do the rest of them.

A big day out on the rail trail today with fellow cachers Liz and Bruce and we managed to find a total of 79 well hidden and thoughtout caches. There was quite a variety of cache containers/hides, often the name of the cache giving a clue as to what to look for. Thanks to Gonefishen07 for hiding this cache.

25-Mar-14
We were fortunate today to strike a day that had sunshine and a cooling breeze. We ventured along this well formed track with LazzaL and pet dog Lillie taking in the rural view to the wonderful coastline and making bee-lines for the creative caches. We would read about the next cache on the way and try and guess what item had been used to individualize and create a sense of fun in each hide. We loved it and enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks to Gonefishen07 for the enormous effort that has been put in to enhance of enjoyment of this caching experience.

Melbourne parties Friday noon and returned Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I came here to make different trail of caches in the area. It was intense few days with my bike but very nice! I could find caches with superb camouflage, very good ideas from the cachers. This log will be the same for all caches that I made (sorry) But I want to congratulate in particular:

Nut bear & BorisB & Natasha for "Bay Trail" and "Red Hill Express" (Beautiful cover!)
The Three Amigos Geo for "The Pathway"
Gonefishen07 for the great "Rail Trail"

As well as other geocacher who I discovered several caches during these few days.
Thank you very much

Greetings from France

Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.

Today we explored San Remo and surrounds using geocaching as our guide.

We found a total of 70 caches and this was one of them. Our 47th cache of the day - Amazing structure and hide.

As we progressed along the trail we were impressed by the variety of hides and the creative use of containers. Some we found quickly and others needed a little more investigation before they revealed themselves.

Thanks Gonefishen07 for taking the time to place and maintain these caches for our enjoyment. We really appreciate the effort gone into these creative and inventive hides. A great days caching and one we will remember.
