Got my anti blackberry gloves out for this one and still no go. Evidence of a clean up in the area so the cache may have been disturbed.
DNF while returning to Gisborne from our Wellington Visit. Suspect cache has floated away.
Out on a Geocaching road trip with my wife and dog, and having a run in our new convertible.
No luck here. Looks like a lot of recent debris washed up around the hint location due to the recent heavy rains in the area.

We wonder if it's not there at the moment. We used the hint and searched where it seemed logical, but there was a lot of blackberry, so when it was not in the recess we expected it to be, I quickly got tired of being scratched.
Final find on the way home from the mildly-moist but extremely-enjoyable Clive CITO event.
The bramble at GZ was particularly vicious tonight...

Came back here with Etherlord and the Etherfamily. Last time I was here (with the Vron) the stream was well over the road and i was a litle worried about the cache siting re flooding. Now... its hard to imagine it could have flooded so high!
I've always driven past Ongaonga until Geocaching - always great to come back through this wonderful picturesque spot. TFTC
Heading home after spending the weekend in Hawkes Bay but this time went SH50 to log some caches along the way. Quickly found, signed log, then replaced. TFTC
After a DNF earlier in the year, and now a new location made for a quick find. Person-high grass is a good cover! TFTC.
Found on our caching trip through Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay. Many Thanks to the CO's for taking us to so many interesting places which we would never had visited without searching for your cache. TFTC Drawp
What no fence post for the cache like the side of the cache Jr taybee found it TFTC
This is the ideal type of ford for small streams for when they are in flood. I have seen and crossed quite a few of these in my lifetime.
Cheers for the cache.

Good easy find. Cache site has taken a pretty good flooding recently but replacement container is in place. SL TFTC
On a road trip collecting caches in the area, I missed it on the 1st pass but tmann421 soon had in hand tftc
Well flooded. Culvert decently blocked with water running over the road. Luckily the cache hadnt been washed away....though it looked like water had flowed over it. Found with Seagnoid.
Yup, it was flooded. about 200-250 mm of water running over it. It also looked like the cache might have been washed out as the grass all around it was flattened. But maybe not. Also some dork of a cacher had placed the cache back upside down, allowing water to drip into the lid. Luckily it was dry inside. Put it back lid up. Found with the Vron.
What could be an interesting crossing in very wet weather, was easy today. TFTC
Pleased to find a cache here this time, it was missing on my last visit. Looks like Telecom (or Chorus?) are doing some work on the cable nearby but the cache is still in place.

Drove across the Slab Crossing then walked back to GZ. A nice easy skindo cache is just the sort we need night caching tonight. Thanks.

A couple of cars passed us - tried to look casual, but they must have wondered why we were there! Moved away from GZ whenever we saw them coming to throw them off the scent. Left a pet rock - a bear cub. TFTC
Last cache for today, we wanted to make it as far as this one because we had noticed the sign last time we were in Onga Onga. Just getting dark but we made a quick find. Crossed the Slab and headed for home. TFTC.

Couldn't find it. Grrrr. It's quite overgrown so next time i'm down those ways i'l remember to take the machete, see if I can find it.
Looked like the elephants had been through and come back again for another trample. No luck today but now know the name for a slab crossing.
TFTC. Second to find. I was wondering what a slab crossing was - and now I have seen one. A pleasant spot for a cache.
The Third FTF in One Day . My Personal Record TFTC. I wish this Cache a Long live.
