Caches deteriorate over time. Life gets busy. Would prefer that Geocacher's don't have too many
below average experiences.
It's time to disable until we can revamp.
Happy for people to check, find and register a smilie if they are inclined

Day fourteen of the short holiday with Bettyboo3747.
A day for breathing in the history of Moonta.
Lots of old mines, stone buildings, and rusting engineering stuff.
It is hard to believe that they have destroyed such a building when they didn't need the land for anything.
Interesting photos and plans of the church.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9466. Sadly, I only have one entire day in Moonta and there is so much to do and see. I love this historic area and definitely need to and will come back here. Tomorrow we head to Broken Hill for more adventures.
It is sad to see so much history destroyed. Rob got his paws on this one fairly quickly and now off to the next one.
Thanks Gum-Ako

Found by Mary & David at 1100. That Sunday School was certainly well-attended. Our thanks to Gum-Ako.
Came to the lovely YP to see and experience the Kernewek Lowender and of course visit a good friend. Cached today after the Cavalcade of Cars, which I highly recommend watching and the tourist railway around the mines. . This was found during that time. Thanks for the caches we loved them.
Spent the afternoon picking up a few stray caches around Moonta. A quick find here, thanks Gum-Ako.
Staying in the C/Park for a few days we decided to get a few more caches in the area. T.F.T.C.
Cruising around the historic Moonta mines today.

On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)
Many thanks Gum-Ako for placing this cache .

Found with micaparamedic and Team Crackers on our last day on the Peninsula. Glad that you got here before Brad did.
Found it while checking out the mines area. Initially the iPhone took us to the wrong spot, but we soon had it worked out when we looked at one the photos.
No pen on us today, so couldn't fill out the log. TNLN TFTC.

Today we are heading to the copper triangle to do some caches, we managed around 120 caches over the 2 days we spent here and we saw some fantastic scenery along the way, being the geowifes early childhood stomping grounds i was treated to a lot of history about quite a few of the areas and how much things have changed over time, this was a nice easy find. Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today was set aside for touring Moonta and Wallaroo. Well we had a long list and after a sleep in and problems loading the GPSr had us not even starting till 0900hrs.
We had a great day and saw lots of historic places and learnt lots about the area. The list was only just started and we never left Moonta till after dark so Wallaroo will have to be tomorrow.

On the road with FelixII discovering the Yorke Peninsula.

We love caching around the YP and with the mild weather we enjoyed the opportunity to find this cache. A variety of hides kept us challenged and we spent time taking in the beautiful scenery and the changes that had taken place since our last visit. Nice one. Thanks to Gum-Ako.
This was our 12th cache find in a caching run of 22 Finds & 2 DNFs today.
We found it at 12:33 so this now makes our total find count 8395.

We are visiting friends in Kadina for a few days before heading off to Murray Bridge to attend the "Oz Mega 2014 Murray Bridge" over Easter.
Today we decided that our primary goal was to attempt the 12 days of Christmas, and also do an assortment of other caches as we were journeying around the area collecting the clues.
Wow that's a lot of teachers!
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Gum-Ako for the hunt today.

Second time lucky, this time the GPS was playing the game and I found this cache in just a few minutes...but I could have sworn I looked there last time.
found it after a few minutes as the gps was taking me all over the place but made the find and thanks for the hide ... Gum-Ako.
We had a couple of goes at this one and found it on our second visit after we'd had a look at some of the previous logs. Duh - how did we miss it the first time?? Interesting history here. TFTC
Not much of this old church left you have to get down to the roots to find this one

It seemed like a good idea to attend the YP Cachers Get Together #7 "Welcome Home Dazza" so Honeysuckers and I headed out to make a weekend of it.
On Saturday, we were followed by 3LG so wherever we went, they went too!
I returned home with 66 successful locus caches , 5 DNFs , 1 event attended and even a FTF for the last cache of the weekend on the way home
We went 4WDing, we laughed, we shared cache adventures with other people and just generally had a fantastic time!
Honeysucker, chrispy89 and I spent Sunday in the Copper Triangle area finding caches
A reasonably quick find...seems we aren't always as slow as an extremely drunk person singing the 12 days of Christmas

I believe this one was spotted in the dark using enough torchlight to light up the sun! Thanks Gum-Ako
Quick find while grabbing a few caches in the area. Interesting little spot, not much left of the building though!
Sometimes it seems too obvious, should just look there in the first place, log is slightly wet

South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today we were traveling on the Yorke Peninsula, the original destination for this trip. We spent the whole day and went from Kadina to Pt Victoria. We went via as many of the towns as possible along the way. Everyone has done a great job of placing a great variety of caches and we had a great day.
Thanks.

We found this cache as part of our family YP camping trip. Over the 12 days we saw some fantastic scenes and did a heap of cool stuff. This really is a beautiful slice of our country. To top off an already wonderful trip, we also found 145 caches, 6 trackables, 1 pathtag and attended 1 event.
Replaced the log sheet also.
