No sign of the cache at GZ today so our guess it's either been muggled (as several previous logs noted that it was not well-covered), or blew away in last night's bad weather!
Could CO please check, as we're pretty sure this has gone. Thanks. (DNF on Sunday 22nd Sept as per our log above).
Unfortunately these containers aren't weatherproof and the cache had a puddle of water in the bottom when we found it. It also appears that muggles may have interfered with the cache as the remains of the logbook were found nearby. Needs a new logbook in a ziplock bag at a minimum.
Found cache quickly as it was not well hidden and discovered that the contents were very wet. What we thought was the logbook was saturated to the point that it was falling apart. However we spotted a piece of the logbook amongst the plants nearby that was dry so we signed that. Tried to dry the cache as best as possible and took a photo as proof. Camouflaged the cache as best we could.
didnt have to tell the kids where this one was, they could see it too. tftc. love these beach ones. fun running for em.
Could see this one from 50 meters away, it's a wonder it hadn't walked, put it back with a bit more camo on it.
An easy find today although last time I looked for ages and am still convinced it was not there before. Took a bit of time to cover it up with some local camo. Left TB in the hopes someone else will find it soon as part of their August challenge and move it on quickly. TFTC
Found after a quick search. We tried to dry out the very water-logged cache. Logbook had turned to pulp. SL. TFTC
1st of four today.
Wilson the dog accompanied the kids and I.
A couple of swaps for the kids. TFTC
Cache was out in the open and still very wet inside. Hid as well as I could with the limited cover.

Now very dark. Fortunately this was a quick and straightforward find. Thanks.
On our way to the Social Picnic event. Weather dark and gloomy. Hope the rain holds off.
The cache contained one large wet log book and another in a small nano cache holder. Tne one in the nano was mush, but the big one could be signed.
No sign of the TB which is on the inventory.
Thanks joandsven.

This was another cache found during my long walk along the Papamoa beach. Easy one.
Big logbook, but it is little bit wet.

Cache very exposed and full of Nephews and neices of the cockroach variety, can't say I enjoyed the experience.

Feeling like having an easy afternoon, we thought we'd go for a drive to pick up some caches in Papamoa. We're pretty sure we found this one, although the images and most recent logs now have us confused as they don't match what we found! Still, nice to discover all these new accesses to the beach... TFTC!

I sent a TB that wanted to travel NZ with a friend who was staying near this cache and directed her to it to leave the TB.
She returned saying that the cache has been muggled. She found the log paper just lying in the bush but no actual cache.

I have arranged a temporary new cache in position until I can get together a decent new container!!
Did not find a cache box, just a page from the logbook, signed it, placed it in a zip lock bag and hid under some leaves at GZ

Found at 8:48 AM GAFF1 in the company of Phetlern. Another great view across to the islands on such a clear day. Surprised that the cache has survived here as it was clearly visible from a distance.
Thanks joandsven

Travelling in company with Pprass we opted for a more balanced day around the Bay of Plenty - less kilometres and more caches. It is always fascinating to follow the journeys of Trackables and just see what mischief they can get into!
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt joandsven.

Good find while caching around the area. Unfortunately heavy showers of rain but TuisReturn & I tried to get some of the quicker caches. SL TFTC
Quick easy find, completed while on an afternoon geocaching sojourn to the area.
Quick find as it was quite visible - I hope it lasts. Re-hid as best I could, TFTC
Quick easy find on a very windy day! A few cockroaches living in the cache. TFTC : )
Liked your idea to send the TB's away for the nephews and nieces. Cache still safe and sound.
MAny thanks

Thai takeaway on the beach in the setting sun was a perfect start to the hunt for this cache. Easily found in the dark with the headlight. Left a coin. TFTC

Staying at the mount and having a day of finding all the beach caches, each one becomes my furthest east from home. TFTC
Took the car instead of the bikes today. 3 year-old was excited to find it after a short search through the dunes. In: kinder toy, out: beady ring. TFTC. #7
Great spot ... Seems really isolated on a quiet day today ... Really liked this one. Log book nearly full. TFTC
Quick visit while passing through on our return north. Easy finf and dropped off a TB TFTC.
I had a crack at one of the skaterboi caches around Parton Rd before concluding that I was out of my league. Headed back to the dunes to locate this cache. I estimated that I'd walked almost four kilometers to this point, and had to turn back towards the market. I squeezed some things into the cache and took the TB. TFTC.
Too wet for most people to be out walking to the beach so able to have a quick find.

Loved the them of this cache & hope the nieces & nephews are enjoying their virtual travels (and the geography)
Picked up the Hector's Dolphin geocoin but did not leave another;
could clearly see the cache on approach, so tried to cover a bit better.
Whew, it sure was a hot day!

Nice view of Motiti Island from here - we hope those trackables are moving along on their travels.
Nice quick find with my grandson (Geoscrivin). Stunning day with great views - not many people around, perhaps they were all getting ready to go back to work!!
Nice quick find in a quiet part of the beach - cache is visible standing near to it - tried to hide but the tree has been pushed apart a bit Swapped TB's TFTC

A quick trip over to Tauranga to meet up with Mellee meant we were finally in the area to claim a few of the new cache placements. We have been rather slack in our logging as we are still logging some of our South Island finds. TFTC

I'm no expert on plants and flowers, but I took a pretty good guess based on the GPS coordinates which plant looked 'garden worthy'.
Quick find - TFTC.
