Unfortunately the cache site is ruined and I haven't been able to find a way to rehide the cache which kept the spirit of the original cache. I didn't want to have to archive this cache, but I think it is the best option.
I checked on the cache and it is gone, and the cache location seems to be destroyed. Was pouring with rain today, so I'll head back this week and see if I can place a replacement cache or whether I will need to archive it.
Foolishly didn't refresh the cache details before searching so looked and looked and then realised it's possible not here. Doh!! Thanks for the hunt anyway! I'll keep an eye on this one.
Dont know if we were in the right place but will definitely bring back a torch next time...
Didn't manage to find this despite searching every possibility like Mapper Ted before me. A muggle passing along the street asked if I was looking for "mushies"!!! Go figure.
Reckon I had explored every possibility and used a torch as darkness descended. But no cache found. Will put it on my "try again" list. But I can't imagine where else I could look. Thanks for bringing me to this delightful reserve.
Nice little reserve, quick find, Dropped off my Tb Red Sheep. I hope she will see a lot of the world

Though daylight is holding out nicely for us, a torch certainly assisted with the find. Glad to find the area pretty much deserted so were free to search unimpeded. TFTC

Nice wee cache which had to substitute the bad feeling after failing at the nearby fishing cache.
Thanks for the endorphins!

Quick find tonight. Thought we would introduce a visiting friend to the the game! TFTC
Just arrived in Auckland yesterday, this morning I wanted to find some caches. First thing, my garmin doesn't work... Doesn't keep me away from finding it; found it by following the good hint!

Checked the cache, still room on the logbook. Cache had been placed too far which meant it was hard to retrieve and also very visible. I returned it to the correct location.
Found on our 'caching day in Auckland'. Our last day in NZ, and we thought we'd do a solid day of caching with the geokids. A great day out for us. TFTCs!

Lovely little reserve, short hunt as my GPS slightly off

My 2nd attempt at this one. Not sure how I managed to miss it the first time I was here. Today it still took a wee while to locate but was found without too much stress. TFTC, Biggles.
First house my parents owned was just above the tennis courts, learnt to play tennis here, went to this preschool, so many memories, thanks for this trip back to my childhood =D
I had a meeting nearby and decided to call past and collect this on the way home. Although there were a couple of muggles in the nearby playground, they couldn't see what I was up to from behind the trees. Found the cache pretty much straight away, and continued on home. TFTC.
Don;t know why we couldn't find this the first time we looked but happy day - found today.
I needed a cache to fill a blank spot in the calendar so headed out in my lunchbreak to find this one. Parked the car close to GZ as there were a few people parked up closeby. I made my way over to GZ careful not to slip over in my work clothes as the ground is very soft and really mushy in places. Arrived at GZ and fortunately was just out of view of the muggles in their cars. Had a quick search in the most obvious spots and came up with the cache pretty quickly. Signed log, replaced and made my way back to the car. TFTC!
It was late on Wednesday night, and once again, no cache by the time I finished work.
So, time to collect another of these Penrose caches! This one I had been at twice before, and with no luck... so didn't really have high hopes, but figured it was my only option.
Parked, in the raining dark... and decided... story of my life! Looking for a cache late at night... in some park... in the rain!! Haha.
And I pretty much skidded and slid down to the GZ before noticing that the GPS was pointing another way this time to normal. And so I looked there. YAAAY!! There was the cache in like the second spot I looked... what happened every other time?! Ah well... got there in the end!!

A reasonably quick find on a nice day. Just had to be aware of some kids in the playground.
Nice spot. TNLNSL TFTC.

Had a small break between jobs today so scooted over to pick this one up. Nobody around. TFTC.
Had been to Epsom this morning as we picked up our caching stamp from Stamp city!
Only ones around today, birds a singing and no rain so was a fast recovery...

Nice little cache in a nice little park. Introduced an Aunt to geocaching with this one. TFTC. (Log sheet almost full).
Found it eventually as I started at one place in the wall and went one way but I should have gone the other way instead.
Logsheet almost full. Needs replacing.
Cheers for the cache.

The cache was guarded by a cute black and white cat who couldn't make it's mind up between hunting in the nearby plants or getting attention from someone looking for a cache. The initial coordinates seemed off a bit, but Zork's suggestion worked perfectly.
A nice location, and the coordinates were spot on. Left Percy the Penguin trackable. Can we get him back to the ice?
Co-ords for me were a bit off and watch out for broken glass.
Spotted it from an angle.

I.ve lost track of how many times I've been here to find the playground full, finally today a chance to search.

Was closeby for a visit. Lovely little park. It is a cliche but all so true: A nice little hide. HOpe to see more of your caches.
On the way back from swimming lessons with the grandchildren so found the cache while they had a play TFTC
This is a nice wee park. And thought I might have trouble finding a park as streets seemed full of cars - but empty spot right by park so all good. After grabbing the cache I also grabbed lots of acorn caps for a project I want to try so this was a great start to my day. TFTC
Nice place. Nice a cool under the trees a good escape from the sun. Find number 2.
Nice little park that I was totally unaware of. Those great big trees were nice to be under during the short search for the cache, and kids playing near by seemed pretty unaware of what I was up to. TFTC.
Good hide but we had to loiter around until a muggle training his dog left the area. Quickly located after that TFTC.
I took my son to interclub tennis at the Ellerslie Tennis Club, and to pass some time I went cache hunting. Lovely little park, and nice camo job. TFTC
Found the Konini Kache on a night caching hunt this evening. GZ was nicely placed to hide our torches from the neighbours. Thanks.

Just a short walk from the Rockfield reserve to retrieve this one, was looking at the wrong wall at first, then the penny dropped.
Thankyou for showing a beautiful garden, were lucky enough to find when roses were in full bloom.
traded swappables.

My second ever geocache. This one was a bit more challenging than the last one but an awesome find. TFTC
Took us a while to find this one, but definitely worth it in the end. Thank you for the Kache
Last cache for a mini day of Geohunting. This one took a bit of time and some scratches..got pretty familiar with the old stone wall. Very pretty flowers in this park.

This one took a little more time than it should have, but given that we started at one end of the wall and worked our way down systematically it wasn't too tough. My daughter really liked the camo paint for some reason and wanted to keep the container, but I thought that might not be such a great idea. We took the travel bug though and we'll move it along. TFTC!
This one took a bit longer than it should have, but we got there in the end. TFTC
I needed a cache for today and the family wanted to visit a playground. That makes this cache made of win! Nice quick find in the first place I checked while the kids enjoyed the jungle gym. I was even able to frop a TB that I have had for too long. Cheers for the cache, in a park I haven't visited in a few years.
I was looking amongst the rocks when I got muggled, thankfully by another cacher - willbuild - nice to meet you!. A bit more looking and the cache was in hand. Nice find to start the day and another tick in my grid for caching every day of the year.......TFTC
Got to site and saw a chap playing around by the wall so slowly walk up and mugged him. Good to meet you again 10 Cent. Quick find with him and off the the one across the road.
Took a quick stroll from the office during lunch to grab this one. As I entered the reserve I spotted a muggle sitting on the bench but fortunately GZ was hidden from his view.
The cache was located after a brief search and spotted through a gap. Carefully retrieved the cache, signed the log and replaced without issue. I then noticed the other path behind me as another muggle walked past (with me in plain sight) but I'd managed to get the container rehidden just before.

The cords were out for me today, but the hint and a bit of caching logic made the find a quick one. Thanks.
Spotted GeoMatt driving away from the other new cache so came around the corner and pulled up beside him here. Strolled off together and made a reasonably quick find here. Nice hide in a park I've never visited before. Joint FTF with geomatt for FTF #997 TFTC!!!
Parked near GZ after a prevous FTF followed closely by FMZ quick search and we had the cache in hand. Joint FTF TFTC great hide
Really cool hiding place, loved it! Again too late for the FTF... some people must not work! Ha ha!
