Sorry fellow cachers I'm retiering the the cache he has gone walk about for the 3rd time plus to close to the playground ,bye bye little bugger.
1005, GAFF3, our second attempt at this one, and after meeting the CO at another cache last weekend who advised to trust the GPSr coordinates we had another crack.
After about 10 minutes and just about to give up something caught my eye, aha, there is the "little bugger"
A well thought out cache, definitely not your usual micro.
SL, cache in good condition.
TFTC and the sleepless nights this one has been bugging me Team Sunderland

Finally, this one had been bugging me for a while, so with no one around i decided to give a go and it wasn't long before i had CIH . great cammo. TFTC
Another tricky one from TS. This was really bugging me. Then woo hoo finally found it. TFTC !!!
There is something about signing a log in which you barely see your markings, anyway SL TFTC
come back today after a DNF a few months back ,Lockogang tagged along and still nothing!

Came back today after a DNF recently and was fresh from finding another TS cache, Releasing the Hounds, so I thought I'd try grabbing this. Searched in the failing light with my trusty torch and after 10 min, went the PAF option. I was able to narrow down the search area and then after I hung up, I zero'd in some more and found the interesting hide. Cool!!! Well done! I SL and replaced carefully. No animals were harmed in the finding of this cache TFTC.

Geo wife upset she could not find it failing light hindered search efforts TFTC
Not keen on bugs, but fun to find. Clever and cute also. TFTC!

My second attempt, and it took two visits in one day, the second visit with a former finder to finally put this one to rest.
The hint pointed me one way, but it turned up in an all together different spot. Thanks TS, well hidden indeed.

Another cache found with Team Doobie after meeting them at an earlier cache. Had an idea of what I might be looking for but took a while to find it! Another clever cache from Team Sunderland.

Met SensibleSis at GZ and after some searching, she was able to locate this sneaky cache! Tftc!
Got to GZ and read the hint, really!
Took a look around, no it can't be there can it? Read though a few logs and was advised to just trust the GPS. Took a look and saw nothing, different angle and there it was. How does that work? Ah I see!
Great Hide!

I wasn't really sure what to expect here, and as the hint seemed to conflict with the coordinates, I had an initial look in several places without any success.
A family arrived to use the playground equipment so I thought I should explain why I was there. I explained geocaching and we had a pleasant chat.
Returning to the search, something caught my eye. Could it be? I relocated to get closer, examined it, and soon I was heading to the nearby seat to attend to the log.
Thanks TS for another different type of hide. And thanks to the family I met in the park - I hope you take up geocaching and I run into you at another geocache somewhere, when I have my kids with me!

So we are looking for a him, not an it, so when we found him we knew it wasn’t an it, even though could he have been a she? I am sure Team Sunderland would have determined its sex before placing it. Well done .
About 5-10 minutes of searching and this little bugger turned up. Nice work.
Cheers

Together with Deputy Dogs we went from Fruitless Pineapple to a joint search for the little bugger. One advice: Trust your GPS, the coordinates are spot on, and the hint is not wrong either.
Far out!!! That was really cool. I've been GC for a month and haven't seen one like that before. Kudos
Managed to return to GZ and find this little bugger once and for all.
Nicely constructed cache.

We had a couple of spare hours this afternoon so jumped in the car to do a few of the new-ish and closer caches we hadn't yet attempted. Glad we persisted with this one! If it wasn't for pjmpjm confirming the co-ords, we may very well have given up. He's a tricky little fella but well worth the find. TFTC
After a DNF at the Fruitless Pineapple, we decided to stop by this one on our way to Bifrost.
GZ had us in the middle of a tree ????
We widened our area of search but came up empty handed.
We will be back another day.
TFTH anyway Team Sunderland

this is our 2nd visit and we still can't find it. this one really has me stumped....but we will return
I can see now how i missed it on my last visit. Really clever hide with how well its blends in to its environment and positioning.
As i was filling out this log the CO arrived for a cache check, i assured all was good and traded a few caching stories.
Nice to meet again and thanks for a great hide.

Hadn't planned on another find today but I was out at Seven Hills and this was just up the road. Last time it had been disabled so I came along knowing that as a Team Sunderland hide, it would be worth it and a bit different.
Reading previous logs I realised where it should be I just couldn't work out what it could be and exactly where. In the end a little PAF handiwork got me there without anything being directly given away. The park was all quiet today luckily. Signed and replaced and hopped away.
Thanks!

My first two attempts were unsuccessful however, I did manage to collect enough information to know where to look when the little guy was replaced.
This morning in the rain GZ was again located and this time the "little bugger" was there just waiting for me. Great cache!!

Found it!! Out caching with pjmpjm who had fixed ideas of where the cache was. I followed the gps and started searching. We were there for ages and the clue had us confused. Eventually pjmpjm phoned a friend and we then knew where to search. The rating for the terrain should have given it away. Eventually the little bugger was found. Great cache....a favourite from me.
This proved to be a rather tough one!
A grandfather and his three young grandchildren were on site, using the playground equipment, so wackydo and I quickly enlisted them in our comprehensive search. They all enjoyed looking for the 'little metal box' we thought was hidden under certain places -- but all was in vain.
wackydo had other ideas, however, and these proved to be the right ideas. I finally used the PAF option to get some clues, but in fact wackydo was already right at GZ.
A good one! Lots of fun!
And the grandfather and grandchildren were pleased too. We showed them the logging formalities, etc., and perhaps some new geocachers will emerge one day.
All was in good order with the 'little bugger' and it seems secure in its spot. Published coordinates are accurate, by the way . . .
Many thanks to Team Sunderland for a good one!

This was our fourth attempted cache today, all by Team Sunderland, and all DNFed for one reason or another. We got there and found a guy on his phone. We figured he was a cacher by the conversation, and when he hung up, discovered we had bumped into Blundo Busters, who had been seeking help from the CO for this cache.
We had a bit of a talk, but not much of a search. I think by this time we were too demoralised and just wanted to go home. Besides a woman and her kid turned up for the play equipment. That's the problem with thee kind of caches. Thanks anyway.

Saw that this cache had come back online and I was around there as soon as I could. Not knowing that the CO had to go back home for some log paper with the cache. I searched GZ and nothing. Searched wider and still nothing, was beginning to think that the cache was gone again until I see the CO walking up the hill with the cache in his hand, Found it. Now that was the easiest find in a long time, its not everyday that a cache owner hands you the cache. I haven't seen one like this before, nice and tricky cache.
Well! It was nice talking to you again Team Sunderland.

Well this certainly is a little bugger. I tried to brave it in the rain while on my dinner break. It was not to be for me tonight. I shall try again soon. Thanks Team Sunderland
Well this little bugger had us drenched & I mean drenched!!!! With the iPhone being of no help what-so-ever especially under an umbrella & after about a half hour...gave the CO a quick call to at least put us at GZ then searching for a least another half hour....we should have just worn our swimmers as the heavens opened up & the brollies were of no help...we finally had CIH....what an excellent little bugger that it is too....that's all I'm going to say....T4TC...great job once again Team Sunderland....It's great to be a FTF on one of your caches finally!!!!!
Congrats to 4drxplor on ftf in the poring rain, good job.
