Sydney Day 2 - Day trip to the Blue MountainsQuick find before starting the hike, tftc ! Greetings from France
Sunday funday! We got up early and headed to Jordon Springs for breakfast. It was quite nice and one of the yummiest mochas I have had in a while. After that we met up with our friends (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Flintstones, Aquilus1 and sacada) to cache up to Katoomba and back. The day had its good points and bad:Good - great company, fabulous views, amazing places, finding caches and fantastic food. Bad - too many muggles, AL and Geocaching App meltdown. So frustrating! We found a handful of caches and got back to Penrith for an awesome dinner at Ros Niyom which was so delicious and the staff amazingly attentive. Not hard though, as we were the only ones there - everyone else was probably watching the NRL Penrith v Storm (Penrith won). We did a few caches on the way home after dinner before the roads got busy with very happy residents. This cache: Found on the ground. But all good. Signed and replaced. Tftc!!!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban and a bunch of other Canberra invaders! Signed CPI Canberra Penrith invasion! on a caching invasion of Penrith! Thanks pjmpjm!
Fun cache nameDay 2 is heading up to the Blue Mountains to have a look around.Up with a group from Canberra running around the Penrith area. Signing as CPI24. for Canberra Penrith Invasion. Thanks for getting me out and about pjmpjm
Find # 128726/10/2024 Caching adventures continue in Day 2 of the long weekend. Ticking off some of the Katoomba caches as well as many on the solved ones around Penrith as we can. Fabulous weather for caching, and great to get some warmth too! this is one such cache, found and signed CPI24! for Canberra Penrith Invaders - consisting of Joolay, Tankengine, dty73, Youban, Sacada, Flintstones, minniek, Aquillis, and Fitzy65. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks pjmpjm for Katoomba Quibberish
Heading back to Penrith stopping at the odd cache the Canberra Penrith invasion group we stopped at this one. Kutgw
A cache trip to Penrith and the Blue Mountains with a large group from Canberra, signing with CPI24. A number of caches planned and others added on the fly. A fun group outing on a beautiful spring weather day. This cache: A quick find along the way. A nice spot for a cache. Thank you pjmpjm for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Thank you!! Nice and easy, PS cache might need new paper and something that clearly tells the people that its part of geocaching.
Thank you. This was our first geocache find. It was a family effort, led by our 6yo son.
I drove over to Katoomba today to check on this cache but, for the life of me, I couldn't find it. I looked for nearly half an hour. Could be a case of 'cache creep' . . . where recent finders have moved it. Anyhow, I've left a new hide, somewhat bigger than the first one, and have updated the coordinates. If you find a 'micro' and not a 'small' please let me know. You can still log the find, but I'd love to know where the old cache has gone. Or maybe it's been muggled in the past week. Check right at the end of the armco.
Coordinates changed from:S 33 42.733 E 150 18.557Coordinates changed to:S 33 42.719 E 150 18.557Distance from original: 85.3 feet or 26.0 meters.Moved slightly along the armco.
14:20A day in the mountains with Suscoe. What an imposing display of cliffs, valleys and of course mountains. The legends of the traditional custodians are to be treasured. Not to forget the town of course.A BIG thank you to the CO who placed this cache.
Suscoe was in Katoomba today enjoying a terrific trip to see the Three Sisters and the wonderful Blue Mountains. We were here with our very good friends Phetlern. Thanks to pjmpjm for this cache.
Nice quick find. Log is pretty much full and also deteriorated. I added a plastic seal bag but didn't have a fresh log with me.
Last of five finds to maintain my streak for another day. Spent today on lush bushwalks, seeking out waterfalls to unearth hidden caches somewhere out there. OCW Graubunden who got CIH. Here in Katoomba for this quick find whilst shopping. TFTC pjmpjm
Quick find, thanks to hint. No ziplock bag meant log very wet inside cache so we carefully signed it. TFTC
Find #: 3,552Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Cool autumn eveningCache condition: Log mushy due to no container (just camo)I was in town to take part in the UTA22 (trail running) event. After dinner nearby I noticed this cache, so headed down and made a quick find of a familiar container in a less-familiar location - TNLNSL TFTC
A quick find on my way to Lithgow. Log sheet was a bit damp, but managed to sign it. Returned as found. TFTC
Geocaching on foot after riding my bike up here all the way from inner Sydney.Very beautiful here in the Blue Mountains, loving it!Haha, dozens of people queueing for a beer at the apparently very popular brewery. I prefer geocaching
The cache is still magnetic Opposite a great pub we often go to, so treat yourself and look around inside and check out their plane! ....../ ).....' /---' (_____.TFTC . ((__)..... _ ((___)....... -'((__)--.___((_)
16:45 found in the fog and the drizzle. Be careful crossing the road! Log was, surprisingly, dry, though filling up quickly. Bring or6wn pen. Took nothing, left pin/badge.
Walking around town in the rain today, I didn't wanto venture too far so saw this one in town and decided to beeline to it.A quick find in the most logical of places. Then I went to the award winning brewery for a few cold ones. Thanks for hiding a cache in katoomba!
Nice hide. A different way to hide in such a spot. Headed across to the brewery for a sneaky taste. Thanks.
T4tc, our 1st cache for the day . Woohoo , this one better luck than the phone booth . (Still no luck) . Thanks CO
Had the chance to collect this one at the end of another long walking day.
Nice hide here. Thanks for this chance for another smiling face.

A nice walk around Katoomba on the afternoon before we undertake the Six Foot Track. We had a rocky start with a DNF at the top of the street but our luck changed here. Is quibberish a type of gibberish? SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Had to time this one with the traffic! Luckily I was able to sit between two parked cars.
TFTC!

I’m working in Katoomba for the next couple of weeks and thought I’d grab a few caches while I’m in the area.
I was retuning to where I’m staying from the Scenic Rim Bonus Lab Cache and this one was on the way.
This was a quick park and grab. I did , however, find the (old) magnet cache, AND, the new non magnetic one.
I signed the logs on both just to cover all bases.
Perhaps the CO can go and remove the old magnetic one
TFTC pjmpjm ??
Find: 645
Finds: 2nd of 2 finds for today
0 DNF for today
Cache condition: Both in good condition
Log book/sheet: more than 75% full
Visited 15 TBs

We continued today our tour in NewSouthWales, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to pjmpjm for the generation of this nice cache Katoomba Quibberish (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Came on the train to cache and bird. So far video of a train, two life birds, and now a cache. TFTC
Having done some good hikes in the morning and with a big day planned tomorrow the afternoon was spent on some easy local caching. Found quickly and then on my way.
Quick PnG during an impromptu two day caching trip to and around Katoomba, so quick barely drew the attention of the firie across the road polishing his truck.
Seen one of these disguises before but literally only once. We almost went past it but my grandfather stopped and looked, and in conclusion, we found it
So glad to find this after spending ages last time without finding it. Didn’t bring a pen though so hopefully a photo of the log is enough. TFTC
Had a firefighter playing waltzing Matilda outside of the fire station while I looked for this. Tftc!
Two new-ish ALs lured me to Katoomba today but you can't come to town without grabbing a few normal caches as well. A quick find here and the log sheet is now dry enough to add one's moniker to it ... if indeed it was ever too wet to sign. the cache, however, has lost its magnetism so maybe needs CO attention.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
I replaced this cache with a different container. However, I couldn't find the old magnetic cache, so it may still be lying about somewhere near GZ. Sure beats me where it went to . . . looked everywhere.
Found this the other day on the 11th
Cache is certainly an interesting shape
As per the others the log is too wet to sign and crammed in there
