Out & about for the day to get some caching done. Why not on a beautiful day like today. TFTF I messaged the owner to confirm find as there was no log. They confirmed I had the cache however disabled it before I had a chance to Log my find.
Found it but no log book to sign. TFTC not seen one like this before, classic!
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.In and around Hobart for a few days. Enjoying getting out and find a few hides along the way. This was a little tricky but got it in the end after a short search. Thanks Norms quest for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it Great hide, such fun finding it
We found it but didnt have a pen, so will message you a pic of the cache. That was a fun cache! ScoutDad80 made the find.
This cache was on my wish list before we left Melbourne for this LGA. bunadoorian, Smiley1982 and myself came for a walk to find this cache. I found the cache at the same time that Smiley1982 spotted a suspected hiding place. Great minds think alike. TFTFC and for bringing us here Norms quest. This was our 7th find for the day.
29 December 2023 Friday bunadoorian. Grub62, Smiley1982 and I had quite a search around the area and there were plenty of likely places to hide a micro. Eventually th cache was found by Smiley1982 and a very clever hide it was too. Well done to the CO and TFTC.
TFTC! Really awesome creative find! Thanks for placing here for us all to find today. Found with Bunadoorian, Grub62!
We are from Switzerland...We do houssitting all over the world and this time we are back in Tasmania the second time ...We traveled around here 14 years ago...its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching ..Today Nggi2 and I went out to make out of green ones yellow smilies ..We visited only afew caches because it was quite hot by some and otherwise windy in the shade. We spoted most Dsli (means Cache little box) straight away ..but two took us much longer. Thas one of them who took us very long to find ....nggi2 was fixed to Gz and i went a bit aside ..I touched around three times ..an the i spoted the very clever hide for which I like to give a Thank you for placing this Dsli oinkoinkText@ holiday Home..I had the right idea and did the right grip
Heute bei heissem Sonnenschein vor dem Weihnachtseinkauf zuerst noch ein paar Caches gemacht. Bei diesem mussten wir lange suchen und fanden ihn doch noch. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
Very creative find which had my GeoHubby and I stumped initially! We ended up coming back later today after looking this morning to no avail! TFTC
Today Zozetta and I headed down to the Kingston area to do some caching, ending up with a total of thirteen finds and one DNF. We began the day on Proctors Road before going to Kingston and getting a few there, then down to Blackmans Bay where we found an old DNF. We found six traditionals, five adventure lab locations and two mysteries. I also found my hundredth adventure lab location, hundredth mystery and eight hundredth overall find. A fun day out with a few milestones achieved.
We first looked for this one last July, almost a year ago now, but couldn’t find it. So today I returned with Zozetta and after about five minutes of searching the very sneaky hide was at last found. It’s good to turn a few blue faces into yellow ones. This was also my eight hundredth find. Favourite point given for the amazing camo.
Thanks for the cache Norms quest!

After a failed attempt a month ago using phone app, re-read logs and headed back with gps. Gps put me very close to what was a nicely thought out and disguised cache. We enjoy these types of efforts being put in to the hide , so fav from us. Andrex228
A slight detour to grab this cache.
1. If found, it will go towards a challenge I’m working on
2. Many sparks my curiosity meaning and check it out
Today we are heading off to Bruny Island for a couple of days to do some exploring and find more caches and fingers crossed, we may get a 1st to find

Brilliant, hide found after a short search weren’t that many muggles

Whoa very good, geo hubby looked in unlikely places, keep telling him it’s got to be somewhere here, and soon something moved. Very good. A fav from me. TFTC
Broke a tooth yesterday having breakfast, on my way to the dentist! Only positive being this cache was close by! Really good cammo, nice construction, appreciate the work put into it, worthy of a Fav point. Thanks for maintaining the cache
This isn't my cache but I've made an attempt to restore it to its former glory. There's been some damage that I'm unable to repair but this one is too good to leave broken. New container and log now in place. I've been in touch with Norms Quest to let him know.
Passing through here today on the way back from visiting family. Have passed it many times before but it’s always been too busy. Thought today would be a good opportunity to not only have a look when it’s quiet but to tick off the day of my calendar.
As per many other logs, I’m going to log this as a find. I found what MUST be the cache but no logbook/missing the container where the logbook was. Didn’t have anything on me to fix it. I’ll send a photo through to CO to make sure it is the cache that I found.
Fantastic cache hide. Really clever and well deserving of a favourite point. TFTC

Found this one with Eviloffspring on our way home from a day of geocaching. This one is very clever. No log though. TFTC
Found the cache, with Shashabear9, but no log book available to sign, shame as it is a very well designed cache.

Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip
Day Four: New Norfolk to Hobart Airport via all the LGAs.
Weather: the big wet happening in the north of the state yet to arrive here.
I chose this cache for Kingborough, as it helps me with a challenge cache back home. Took a significant amount of time, but I hung in there and got there in the end. There are red herrings in the logs, but also in there somewhere is the sentence that helped me make the find.
Still no log, and with being in a hire vehicle, I’m afraid that I can’t help out here.
I wish I had time for others in the series! Next time. Thanks Norms quest.

Pretty sure we found it, looks like it use to have a mirror tube or something with it for a log book, but that's not there now, still an awesome cache and very clever hide.
Found the location of the cache but no log book, still a very clever location! TFTC
Pretty sure we (Ja1m3_Cee) too found it. There is a spot where a micro log would have fit, but not there. Considering the way that specific item is set up, there is no way that is not the cache. Sadly no log.
I think I found it… no logbook or anywhere that it could be, very cool spot! Thanks
Amazing! We think we found it, but no log book or even a place for a log book? Not sure but greate cache! TFTC
After spending about an hour here in 2017 it felt like arriving at a very familiar location today. Back then the best I could come up with was a sad DNF. Today with hellyonfire we were able to turn this frown upside down. An extremely clever and devious hide indeed. TFTC
Exploring Tasmania with hellyonfire cache by cache. The weather has kept us on our toes and our ears frozen, and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks to all the cache owners for the creative hides and/or great locations.

Aaaaahh! this one made me scream, it took about 5 tries to finally find the area unoccupied, as they hire Coles smokers to guard it. Found it, I don't understand how people can fit logs in here. Thanks for the Cache! (found in the rain)
OMG!! I've been looking for this one for ages. Took the walk from home in the rain today with my son and had it in hand after about five minutes. I hoped that a rainy Sunday arvo would keep the muggles away and give us time for a decent search. Great hide Norms Quest, a favorite point from us! The log is full so we left a "TW" in black sharpie in a little gap. I didn't replace the full log, sorry!
This one was very tough, luckily as we were about to give up geomum made the find. Tftc!

Found it!! Didn’t think we would given that it hasn’t been found in a few months now, but it is there! A very sneaky hide and like none I’ve ever seen.
Took quite a while to find this one, we were looking at the wrong object! Log very (now completely) full and my pen was not cooperating but I managed to scrawl some sort of 25/7 ProjectL.

While caching in the area we found your cache along the way. This took some time but after reading previous logs Mrs"T" came up with the goods.
A very clever hide, original, cache and contents were in good condition and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I'm so confused! I want to find it but there's so many muggles! May return another time.
A great hiding spot! Didn't think I was going to find it in my lunch break. Had to really study the area hard while keeping mindful of muggles. Keen to seek out the other Shopaholics.
Thank you Norms quest.

Well finally can tick this one off, high muggle area so finding the right time to look, as all have said sneaky hide TFTC
Mummy Cox and the girls were lucky to get away to Hobart for 4 nights thanks for the Government for releasing travel vouchers to inject money into the tourist industry after Covid 19.
We had a very long tip as their was a Major accident on the high way that we escaped as it was only 6 cars in front of us. Google told us that the detour was only going to take 33 min that was way out as it took 1.5 hours to get from Ross to Oatlands, so the trip took 5.5 hours from Devonport and I didnt get to stop for caches I had marked along the way.
While in Hobart we didn't do much Caching as it was raining most of the time. But did get to do lots of other things including a lot of Shopping so it was fitting that we find the 2 caches in this area
Nice Hide very tricky, Easy find thanks The Norms for this cache

Too many Coles workers being paid to smoke for me to want to look. Lekker_Ding find it though. Thanks Norms quest.
Yeah, found it. Spot on with GPS, but to us a little while. Great cache hide, thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for placing the cache.

Fantastic hide. Well done. Took us about 45mins, tried looking like we were waiting for a pick up. So many muggles on break.
Hi Norms quest, thanks for the caches.
I've been geocaching for a while now, and every now and then I'll refer to a previous log of mine, maybe to see if what I wrote triggers a memory to help a fellow geocacher that is seraching for the cache, or maybe just trying to remember when I found a particular cache. Whe I reread these logs, I'll often see other comments that trigger another memory - who I was caching with that day, what I saw (birds, snakes, echidnas, yachts sailing up the river, a dolphin swimming along parallel with the beach), a particular event that happened that made me laugh hysterically, or what my dog did.
In my logs for today, I wanted to note that right now life is pretty scary - for the whole world - due to the virus Covid-19. The current direction from our state government here in Tasmania, is that as of 6pm yesterday, we are not allowed to congregate in public or private places in groups of more than 10 people, and that we must maintain social distancing between people of 1.5m at all times, and only undertake essential travel. We are allowed to still go out and exercise, and walk the dog, and do our groceries, put fuel in our cars, and make any other essential trips to pharmacies, work, seek medical attention etc. So where does geocaching fit in to this? - well, it doesn't, to just go out and go geocaching, falls into the 'not essential travel' category. However, it does fall under the exercise category; so today RLD4963 and I headed out with the GeoGSP for one trip - doing all we needed to do, taking the GeoGSP along for the ride so he could get his daily exercise as well.
This one is nice and close to the supermarket - one of those places where everyone still needs to visit (and for future reference, I know by writing the words 'toilet paper' I'll remember one of the more ridiculous aspects of Australian behaviour in the early stages of this pandemic).
So, a quick stop was required here, so a search for this cache was made. It took a while, but the tricky hide was revealed. A favourite point from me.

We looked here, we looked there... and finally I recognized something „wrong“. Yeah here it is. Nicely made, add a favo. Greetings to the local cacher who welcomed us with „are you looking for the geocache?“. TFTC
