Found while making my way to Mildura. Meeting a friend at the half point. Seriously,,, Nobody should ever expect anybody to drive a 10 hour return trip without caching on the way! So here I am. Many thanks Aussie Fun Seakers for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura, Australia
Found on a beautiful sunny day after spending the night in Cohuna. Great welcome sign. Thanks Aussie Fun Seakers for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment. #2457
Last time I was here looking for this cache it was missing. So I have stopped today as I seen it has been replaced. Finally turning the frown upside down! TFTC!
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. A quick park & grab at a very interesting welcome sign. TFTC
#4248 Third of nine finds while travelling from Echuca to Mildura. Found after a short search. TFTC
Thank you so much to Aussie Fun Seakers for your caches during my short visit to this area. Tamagotchi key word for my none geocaching friends who embraced my searching on a lovely weekend away celebrating milestone birthdays. One came with me to this cache to see what it was all about. Love the entrance artRegardskbucky
Today we left Echuca and traveled the short distance to Cohuna with short diversions into Gunbower and Leitchville with a number of other stops for caches as well.We have a fantastic camp right in the middle of town in Cohuna with a grassy sight on the lake. Couldn't ask for more!We spent the afternoon catching up with family after a bike ride round the area.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Aussie Fun Seakers.**SKI Pair****
Checked cache today and found it missing so replaced with a new cacheAll good to go once more
Put my hands everywhere I could and nothing found. And we were probably distressing mummy bird too.
My coordinates were a little bit out, but I did manage to find it after a quick search
Kids had fun with this one, fighting over who get to climb up high. But it was keen eyes and not the strongest that had this cache in hand first.

A day out n about, driving the backroads hunting down the "out of the way" caches. Also on the agenda was to visit the Torrumbarry Weir for the "A Handfull of Weirs" Ad Lab.
Took a bit to find as there was so many logical places a micro could hide.

I stopped here and suddenly, traffic everywhere, that seems to be a theme for today. Once it settled down a short search lead to success. I havnt been here before, it will be fun to explore this little town.
I was driving past today on my way north to find a few caches. I didnt really have a plan for the day and decided to start off finding a newish mystery in Rochester and then see where i ended up from there. I havnt made a particularly early start so it wont be a mammoth day, nor am i targeting any particular caches or locations, so just a relaxed cruise. The sun is shining and surprisingly warm which is putting me in an even more relaxed, slow travel kind of mood. The geopooch was getting ratty at home so she is excited to be getting out and exploring once again, come to think of it, so am i, in a sleepy kind of way.

Out for a Sunday afternoon drive along roads we haven't traveled down before, family Perpetuallylost made the most of the calm, mild weather today and also tried to find a cache or two along the way.
No trouble locating this cache on this very well crafted "Welcome to" sign. CIGC TFTC.

Our last find for the day was here. Groping around GZ in the dark I luckily made the find quickly. Nothing else of a more sinister nature was found as well and we could get on the road back to Echuca.
Today, we were awakened to the sounds of an arsenal of shotguns as the annual duck season opened.
After doing a few chores around our accommodation, we headed out geocaching for the day.
+Wife found a nice safe parking spot, and I took some photos for our extended ANZAC Day Long Weekend break album.
A short search soon revealed the cache, and our stamp was placed in the new log book.
Thank you for placing this cache, Aussie Fun Seakers.

Stopped for this, our last cache for the day and our huge trip. dalerious already had this one so I jumped out of the car, signed the log and hightailed it back home to Tat ready for work.
Thank you Aussie Fun Seekers .
The Trip
We talked about planning this odyssey months ago, but put the finishing touches to the plan in the last couple of weeks.
We were hoping to undertake two challenges. One was to log a cache in as many counties in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales as we possibly could, as well as logging caches that were placed on the pages of the UBD Victorian Road Atlas as well.
dalerious got to work strategically picking caches that we needed. No easy task, but he is so adept at it. I get the car and supplies ready, and drive.
We had only 2 full days to do all this in, as well as an event to attend to in Mildura.
Quite an ask, but yet again dalerious and I not only marked of all the caches we had on our list, but we were lucky enough to add more.
We had an awesome time away travelling around hop, skipping and jumping from one state to the next. With the exception of hitting one Kangaroo, no damage to the Hilux or us thank goodness, I loved driving around this beautiful area.
Next big trip Tasmania........ Bring it on!
Thank you Aussie Fun Seekers .

After a little bit of searching, on this chilly Sunday winter's afternoon.
We found the cache, hidden in its special hiding spot.
Best to park across the road to get this one and walk across.

Road tripping with The Welder and have lots of kms to cover…. Challenges to collect and milestones to earn. BUT I can’t not stop here and collect a Gunbower cache! You see when I was 12 (yes 32 years ago) I started studying genealogy with my beautiful Nan… a passion that would follow me on and off in the years that followed.
It was then that I heard the many stories of my Nans childhood and the fond memories she had staying with her cousins in Gunbower island and the neighbouring towns. I had always wanted to go and search the old country towns and cemeteries for a further appreciation of that part of my family tree, put places with the old photos and soak in the ancestral familial lines… but years and decades go by and so too do generations. With the passing on my Nan, my focused changed to the raising of my children…
Now this weekend as much as I would love to explore and fulfil that dream of exploring the area, I can’t get distracted as it’s taken us too long to be able to get a kid free weekend to work on these challenges… but with the insistence of The Welder and the lingering dream of my Nan last night, how can I not pause for a moment, smile at my Nans memory and reflect on times go by.
My Nan and Pa loved travelling and visiting local Victorian towns and I am sure they were watching the Welder and I as we stopped at the Gunbower sign making the cache hunt harder than it should have been. They would be laughing at us from heaven, watching me try and scour the beams and The Welder pausing to kiss the fish! Oh the things that you do!
Thanks for the cache and a chance to reflect on precious memories from years passed by. I will definitely be back to discover some more.

#18498. Robmc and I are heading to Mildura via Cohuna for a week. First play of the day was an unexpected FTF on a brand new AdLab at the Winton Wetlands (thanks Team BGF) and just a few caches along the way to Cohuna.
Rob had found this one way back in 2012 but we stopped here for me to find it. Found very quickly but these days doesn't appear to be magnetic. Log sheet good. Nice welcome stop by the water (that looks like it can be considerably higher at times).
Thanks Aussie Fun Seakers

Day 2 of a trip to Victoria and targeting around the Wangaratta area. The afternoon consisted of traveling from Kerang to Goorambat meeting up with Bushfire and 6hinemoa2 at our base camp.
A few hides were targeted where we could with time permitting as we had to arrive at our base by a certain time.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Another quick stop and sign.

THE LATE TO THE WANGARAATA MEGA TOUR. [:o)]
We were booked for November 21. [^] Didn't Happen.
Booking transferred to February 22. covid
Booking transferred to May 2022. Yah - made it albeit a tad late.
DAY 2: Kerang to Goorambat:
Up reasonably early we decided to have a look around and ended up doing all the possible caches and started towards Goorambat. [^] Put in how long to see how much time we had for stopping at caches along the way... Bugger all. Oh well we did manage to stop for a few.
Once arrived at our digs we waited to be joined by Bushfire and 6Hinemoa2 to arrive. Then we set of for Benalla for some supplies, grabbing a few caches as we went...as you do. [^] So save space in logs we signed BBB6 or 3B6 or similar.
What a great little entrance. Stooped on the way out and I soon had the cache in hand.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks Aussie Fun Seakers for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

A quick find on our way through.
A mega jaunt with endeavour3 saw us caching this cache and writing in the log, then we moved on. A lovely place to explore.

LittleBoss2 and I had just enjoyed a couple of wet days around Cohuna, and were keen to continue our caching run on the way home today. This was one of many caches we completed that made a 90 Min trip into a 5hr trip. But that's caching for you. Our sincere thanks to all the CO's for the laughs while looking we enjoyed today
On our way home from a couple of days geocaching around Cohuna. Thanks for placing the geocache
Cheeky bike rider around town, stopped off at the cafe for a quick milkshake before finding this on the way out !

This is one of the caches we found, with a good early start, on a great day's caching south east of Kerang in the company of fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe. Oh yes we soon felt very welcome in Gunbower.
Our thanks to 'Aussie Fun Seakers' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Suscoe headed out today in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We had a big day out with lot of finds covering many kilometres.
The countryside around this area is interesting with irrigation, hills, water, crops and livestock that were looking great.
Thanks to the Aussie Fun Seekers, we had dropped in here once before but it was missing, great to see it today.
