Another daily find to retain my streak. Hint is vague yet helpful. Really slippery if not careful. Thought I lost one half and kept searching GZ to no avail. Off to work and was about to head off elsewhere at end of the job. And you know what? It was buried safely somewhere in my clothes. Now back in play for subsequent geocachers. TFTC apw75
I have been informed part of the cache canister is missing and it should be fixed up in th next few days
#7784We spent the day cruising across some Sydney extremes, with the main objective of filling in our LGA map for the city, still chipping away at some challenges and other goals. We got 8/11 LGAs we needed, we just ran out of time and daylight. We spend most of the day in the car, seemingly at red lights too, and after starting in Newcastle at 0500, then a CITO at 0830, are exhausted. 20 caches including the CITO, 2 trigs, 1 DNF and those 8 new LGA's, all in perfect cool caching conditions too - a top day really. This will add to our tally for the 1200 3's we need for an ACT challenge cache.... and 3/1's are very cool too.Cheeky hint! Thanks for the cache!
#7784We needed something to do today, and we had a lot random missing LGAs in lower Sydney, so a trip down for a CITO and some LGA hunting sounded good, so that is what we did today! end of copy paste Nice quick find in the second place I checked, o-ring missing but still all dry. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache apw75
Took a while looking for this one, but then we found it in a quite logical place.
Coordinates changed from:S 33 51.927 E 150 56.529Coordinates changed to:S 33 51.935 E 150 56.530Distance from original: 48.8 feet or 14.9 meters.Just refining the coordinates as it has displayed around 14 m north of actual position in apps
Found it with my girlfriend today with the help of hints from the wonderful owner and his father. Very kind people that explained the cache and its history to us (look at the smaller pole)
There has been some maintenance done in the area of the cache if you have been before but the cache has now been returned back to where it should be.
There are some changes happening ATM so will be a bit hard to find today but it's not far from its origin location as a temporary location
Found on a short trip to Sydney from Adelaide.
Today I was out this way to have a look around where my grandparents once lived. There were a couple of nearby caches, including this one so I thought I’d give them a try.
The cache was found after a short search. I felt very conspicuous with a neighbour cleaning his car nearby. He didn’t seem concerned - perhaps he knew what I was up to.
Thanks apw75 for the cache.

We’ll yes that was indeed one of the most awkward and uncomfortable caches I’ve found, but as with every other log here those feelings went away when I found it ??
Initially took a stroll down the driveway where GPS wanted me, then read some previous logs and the hint again and it made a bit more sense.
Yes I’m assuming this is the COs driveway or at least someone they know, but you definitely don’t have to go down it to retrieve the cache.
Signed the little bugger and replaced as found; TFTC!

Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 4. Today was caching in and around Penrith mainly targeting the PGA caches. Today the group was made up of Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Isopeda and Smitten Granny. The group signed CDI23 the same as yesterday. The day was raining on and off all day and that made dome of the walking caches a bit of a challenge, but we managed the WIGs and even a few other local caches. We had a late lunch and worked out what was left to do before breaking up for the trip home for some and for me, I headed to Strathfield for the night doing two counties along the way leaving nine more for the next day. It was a great trip and so many of the caches and puzzles were interesting and tough challenges. I know I will be back to visit the are again !
This was the second of five caches targeting counties. I have a fear of Sydney caches and this one is why. people all over the place and the neighbors took ages to get into the car and go. Surprisingly, once I had a clear run at the cache I put my hand on it very quickly.
Thanks for the cache apw75

Our etrex wanted us up a driveway to someone's house. We had a look at the start of the driveway, but weren't good enough to find the cache.
After the DNF i checked and the cache was missing so i have replaced it with the original nano container in the correct position.
Had a quick look and saw a muggle come out of their house. I went back to my car and waited for them to drive off. After they were gone I went to have another look and started to rain. I will try again another day.
Waiting waiting waiting for the muggle in the car to stop chatting and leave. Takes a good while but rewarded with an official log book and an official geocaching sticker
Found today with some help. It is NOT on private property as the map would have you believe. The hint was helpful, well camouflaged.
I am a fan of. Urban caches they. Can be challenging to. Find a place to hide. Tftc
Very clever little hide. Spied it from the street but definitely would have thought twice if I wasn’t looking for it. TFTC.
I was in the right spot, just looking at the wrong pole. I'm assuming the owner of this property must be the owner or knows about it to be in that location. TFTC
An easy find on the first day of Spring.
Needing to find a cache for my streak before heading to work i headed out early to take advantage of the clear Sunday morning roads.
Im usually a bit hesitant about private property caches but this was a sufficiently quick find thanks to the clues given that it didn’t cause me any anxiety about being seen by a muggle who could interpret my actions as casing a house for a robbery.
Im surprised this cache sees so little action.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

I was last here in December 2015 for the DNF. Back then, I had issues with caches on or close to private property...and I still kind of do. The hint was a good one and I felt okay once I saw the cache. TFTC.
Yep, this is definitely out in the burbs, but so different to the burbs where I live.
Its pretty flat out here and they could do with some more street trees.
I worked with someone whose ancestors owned a very large portion of the land around here when it was farmland, and before the land was bought, subdivided into residential blocks and streets put in.
They said they believe this street was called Station Street as it was intended to go right through to Fairfield Station. The section near the station these days is not a straight throughfare and has been named Ware Street.
The cache was a quick find.

Found at 10:59hrs. First time caching in Fairfield and this was a simple park and grab. GPS wanted me to walk down the driveway, however GZ was closer to the road. Found cache after I tilted my head to the side . Added 2 little rings to container, and took a coin. TFTC
I found this at 4:20 my phone died im sorry and this is Christopher u can check if you want.
Out having a night cache with some of the crew before they are due to move interstate. We'll miss alucierahi! TFTC
That worrying feeling of trespassing was replaced with bragging when I found this one ahead of the crew. Our second floor the night. TFTC
OOps, there's the sound of gravel.. back we go but it was too late as AWTYOW was already bragging of her find! TFTC!
Well that was another odd experience. Met the CO dad, who by the way is very nice. Had a little chat about where I'm from (home town) and where I live and what I an hubby do for work. Odd because I really don't like caches in drive ways. And get muggled out. He gave me a little fright at first but such a nice chap.
Took nothing. Left nothing. Tftc.

Out today with Snoopy1976 doing some caches that fill in some hidden date finds. This was our 5th and last for the day. As Snoopy1976 had already found this cache a number of years ago it was my turn and once at GZ was an easy find. TFTC
Found on NYE before the big celebration. Wanted me to go visit the house but clue made more sense then GPS. Quick find, thanks to 2017.
#1460 this is the 3rd time I have look for this cache the first 2 times I came from one direction with the GPSr and both sending me 10 metres down the driveway. The second time had a neighbour sitting on the verandah. Last night the hint clicked, this time I parked the other side & I could see the cache as I got out of the car, no one about so a quick grab and took back to the car to sign.
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache apw75

On our way to the geocaching nsw Christmas party and stopped for this cache as it fills a missing hidden date for me. We were super stealthy to avoid muggles, thanks for the cache tnln sl

Last minute decision to come out for a cache. Met the CO's dad. Thanks for tip! TFTC!
Not comfortable looking through someone's driveway lol. Good hide regardless tftc
Driving along the street approaching GZ, I was on the lookout for a park, large footpath tree or laneway so questioned gps when it beeped “here”. Re-read the clue and bingo, CIH!
Maybe just bad luck, but found place and searched and searched... I hoped this will be my first Sydney one!
First find for the day while out bike riding.

I had been here before and posted a DNF. Tonight before the sun went down and with a partner in crime so to speak. Card lady and I made the find together. We had to leave it and walk back to the car as we heard muggles approaching, once they had passed card lady went back to grab it. I can't believe I missed it the first time. I must have been having a boys look. TFTC.
Found this with wraccie while out with her doing a heck on her caches and trying to get this one. between us we got it.
Tftc. Another uncomfortable retrieval in someone's front yard. Log book only has 2 or 3 pages left.
I had similar problems as a previous DNF, with the device telling me to go down a driveway. I was not game to follow...
This one took me down a driveway and I was to nervous to really look. Could be there but I was not hanging around.
A quick find (with master Q) when you read all the hints; ) The rain must have interfered with my gps signal as it pointed somewhere completely different. When I signed the log I noticed the police signed the log too.
After finishing some work meetings not too far from here I had a bit of time to find a few caches before I had to head off to the airport and home. Like the previous finder I also encountered the CO's dad and had a nice catch up - unlike the previous finder, this wasn't my first cache... After a bit of initial hint interpretation confusion I stood back a bit and spotted the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
I was scared to go in at first when I saw a man raking leaves, but he then asked "Are you looking for a Geocase?". He then helped me find it and I later found out he was the owner's dad.
A quick find for Goosie today as I was in the area for work and wanted to find the cache before heading back to the office. Had a muggle walking pass as I got to GZ but quickly found the cache. TFTC!
A quick find with no muggles around. Our second cache in a row on private property today. TFTC.
Driving thru the burbs on my way to a wedding. Realised I had plenty of time up my sleeve so detoured off the main drag for a cache.
I was a little confused with this one as my map showed it on private property beyond state lines, but when I arrived and all the clues fit together O had the cache in hand and signed in moments, neighbouring muggles none the wiser. Thanks for the find!
