Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Introduced a local to geocaching today. Thanks for replacing it. Last time I was out there it was missing.
(946) Found with Cache Hound while out on a Sunday caching trip. Second time lucky with this one. TFTC
Sailed in but handheld GPS packed up and pencil broke so pleased to havve clue and comments from logs so we were able to find it. Scratched SG in log TFTC
On our way to the Mega in AKL via Northland. What a blimmin mission this one was. Co-ords had us at the table but after a good search without luck we widened our search to the only other structure in proximity (+9mtrs). Spotted it almost instantly but far from our reach or gymnastic capability. After 10 mins at least and several long poking and hooking implements finally had it in hand. We replaced in a far more accessible position. TFTC.
#1336, Replaced Container as we were sure this was MIA. it is now hidden top right towards first aid post. (may need a lift up).
Quick find, bay very quiet today, did not see one human despite finding three caches, spooky.
The "salty mermaid who rides a bike" did such a good restoration that we took quite a while to find it. Must admit we were looking for something smaller...well, that can be our excuse for the day.
Nice wee hide and most interesting info thanks. Found with Hokiangler.Beautiful place .
It seems the cache was muggled; I arrived to find 1/2 the camo & the log covers on the ground and easily spotted the cache perched nearby, seemingly stripped for it's anti-gravity device. Alas, the logbook was still inside, albeit crammed & jammed into the dented container. Perserverance helped to extract & perform a bit of reconstruction to the log & to reapply the camo. I would have done a better job, but was travelling light as I'd pedalled from Teal Bay. Signed log & tucked back more discreetly. TFTC & my cycling goal of the day whew- those are some tough hills! Oh, p.s. 1st time I've seen the tsunami evacuation chart - that was interesting.
Found on our tour of Northland from Te Anau with The Italian Job from Auckland. TFTC
We came via dingy which got us muddy but persisted and found. Not many finds on this one so we're happy.
