What an interesting spot. I am looking at all the minutes missing nearby, and this was one of them. Mr10 had fun going under the way and feeling trucks running above his head. A very special experience indeed.
Plenty of space to pull over, then a short walk to the cache which was not too hard to find. Thanks for placing the cache, we needed it for a challenge we were working on today so very happy to find it.
Parked my camper up off the road where suggested, and wandered down. Quick scramble and an easy find, cheers
Trouve ! / Found it ! Une petite T3 comme j'aime 5198me cache trouve.Merci HeyTopps pour la cache A small T3 as I like 5198th cache found.Thank you HeyTopps for the cache
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Tyfc nice easy find with Kerryowl and Suzy on way home, recommend coffee and pie from caravan at allied fuel stop. Yum
12:10 FITW GreenMenaceWho's Yapalot? Do they yap a lot!? Stopped on our way towards Lewis Pass. I was wondering how the place would look like after the big fire on Tuesday. Lots of burned stuff before the bridge but looks like the fire didn't really come too close to the bridge itself.Cache in good order, nothing melted This cache is in one of the two minutes I need to complete the 43 minute challenge Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, HeyTopps!#10230
Was a wee scramble but found empty container. Added new container and paper. Tftc
Logs need maintenance or needs replacing as someone took the Contents or something.
After exploring the trails along the river we had to make our way to black top and since we were passing by we thought we'd have a look for this. A quick find by my son. Thanks HeyTopps your cache is in good condition but the log paper is needing a refill. I wasn't carrying anything suitable but maybe the next finder is.
Another DNF after scrambling around the hill.
Call it quits for the day - clearly not our day.
Call it quits for the day - clearly not our day.
We picked off a few caches to fill in gaps in our table for the 43 South Latitude Minute Challenge, while on our way north to Motunau Beach for an International Earthcache Day souvenir. This was the third gap filled on our way north. TFTC HeyTopps!
A nice day for a bit of a scramble.
No problems finding the cache.
I left one of our homemade rattll coins.
Thanks for putting this here

I found the right place to park, then had to figure out which way to GZ. I congratulated myself on using Geosense, but more likely if I stayed up, there would be no way to apply the hint. On the way out, I finally figured out the cacher's name for this spot. TFTC.
Had fallen off it's perch so put it back in place with friends to stop it falling down again.
Looooong boring drive to Blenheim. Ohhh I know, I'll do some caches. Nice and easy. Cheers.
On our way to Hamner so thought we'd do a bit of geocaching on the way - TFTC
Off on a road trip to Chch for the weekend. With limited time and raining on and off. We still managed to get in a bit of caching along the way. Down the East cost and back up the West cost was the plan but stormy weather put a stop to that. With no roads open to get home on we stopped in Kaikoura for an unplanned extra night. So thank you for for the caches you placed out there for us to find we had fun and frustration finding them along the way. Looking forward to the next trip to find the ones we missed. Apologies for the cut and paste.
I write "WRITE NOTE" because it is a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits to New Zeusemad. Of this adventure in New Zealand, I only stretch Travel Bug. Writing "FOUND IT" is probably not right anymore, it wasn't today, but I was here before. And unfortunately I won't get here again.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

That was certainly an interesting scramble after a stroll down that brought us close to the GZ. We could see the cache, just had to be careful of our footing, reaching it and in particular coming back down.

Mum had Lion meetings all day yesterday in Hanmer Springs and because Monday is Westland Anniversary day we headed towards Rangiora to do some maintenance/caching. This was only our third stop in a few short time after leaving Hanmer this morning. There were some big puddles to negotiate but we got to GZ with dry feet and could spot the cache hiding place on approach. We could easily understand the cache name here. Thanks for placing this cache here for everyone's enjoyment.
Out in a 2 car convoy for an epic road trip, this one was our start on the way to Reefton. Log signed with team name of Hawkes Harem. TFTC.
On our way to Hanmer Springs as support truck for the St James Multi sports event. Nice and easy to stop here and then more fun getting to the cache. A very handy 'Y' for our January puzzle cache. Thanks for the cache HeyTopps.
Popped out after work with my own Yapalot to grab a cache for Day 154 of my current streak of consecutive daily geocache finds.
Tama my geohound wasn't too happy about the sound of the vehicles travelling over the bridge and definitely yapped a lot.
All good here. TFTC

Judging by the description I thought this would be a barrier cache of some sort, glad it wasn’t in the end. Parked as recommended, no issues there, then a nice stroll to the cache, found in good shape. TFTC HeyTopps.
Homeward bound to Blenheim after a weekend in Chch, I have targeted a few caches on the trip back. In the end I did not get away until the early afternoon, so could not do some of the short walks I had planned. Just park and grabs then. Thanks all COs. Not many found but no issues with any of them.

Thanks need the Y for May. Not many cache for me to choose from. Come up to Hanmer Springs to run the miler this weekend. Made a list of a few cache I need to find on my way.
Can't help wondering about the name... Is there a story? On the way from Rangiora to Hanmer Springs for a dip in the spa. TFTC
We were in a very long line of traffic after a stop/go so a good opportunity to stop and get out of the queue. Took the high level approach and was rewarded. Thanks for bringing us here
A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 4 Wakari to Ashley Gorge 54 caches found including 1 of the targets. Not all quiet but the passing muggles had no idea I was there. Thank you for the placement.

A tad damp at the base but a sidle round and I found it very quickly. Thanks for placing a cache here.
I chose a little longer but less steep approach - - - thought I was heading to a particular spot then thought no I'll look over there first and that's how I found the cache. Thanks!
#6238. I came up to Waikari to do the old cache up the hill behind the town. Now heading back towards Rangiora. It was along this area that I realised my GPS was no longer functioning. I had dropped it in mud earlier in the day and washed it off at the Waikari rest rooms. But clearly the GPS is no longer waterproof as the screen was now full of moisture and the GPS was not picking up any signals. So changed over to my smartphone app and used satellite view to see where to look for this cache. Parked up the road and walked back to the bridge. A short scramble from below and I spied a likely hiding zone. Soon had cache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks HeyTopps for hiding it here.
Found with NZDi on our way home to Blenheim after an overnight trip to Christchurch. NZDi and I had been in Christchurch looking for furniture and décor items to fill our new house which we shift into next month. Having scored a FTF on the way down to Christchurch yesterday, and only one other while in the big city, we decided to grab a few on the way home. As we wanted to get home at a reasonable time, we picked a dozen or so PnGs close to the State Highway. As expected we didn't find all of them and ended up with a tally of ten for the day.
From the satellite view and the hint, I had a pretty good idea of where this one would be and it turned out I was spot on. A QEF PnG, but I'm wondering who Yapalot is.

I was on my way north so no problem with the parking. No problems finding the cache either. TFTC
Strolling around the river bed, was no trouble getting to gz today as it is quite dry.
Thanks very much!
Thanks very much!
Found on our way back from hanmer springs luckily the birds had fled there nest so they weren't disturbed finding this one cheers
Heading north from Christchurch - chance for another stop. More water on the path than in the river on this side. No trouble getting to the cache site
There seems to be more water on the trail here than in the river. It was a careful walk to the cache location and Herts Skip went up for a quick find.
Found on way to Hanmer Springs while holidaying down south with 3kids and jillyvee. Nice to get some South Island caches. TFTC
We have driven over this bridge many times but never stopped for the cache. Today we drove down to the river bed for a morning coffee and to find a cache.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Found with Injeanious and The Burnsy - we signed the log as JeJeBu to save space. This was a quick scramble to grab the cache, and the log was signed. TFTC!
Burnsey was happy to stop and get this one. It gave us an excuse to get off road and get the Ranger dirty. We carefully made our way up to the cache in our jandals and signed as JeJeBu. There was a birds nest up top with some chicks in it, so we were careful not to disturb them. Tftc.
25/02/17 - Just got back to UK after 6 weeks in New Zealand during which time I found just over 500 caches. I'd didn't get time to log them all at the time so catching up now. Didn't get a chance to stop for this on the way north, but managed it today. TFTC
on our holiday trip through new zealand we are picking op some caches.
this is one of them. thanks a lot for making us enjoy our hobby, even far away.

Great place. Good parking on side of road after bridge but before passing lane on road into chch. Came up this side after signing log. This bridge has bad costly memories. Several years ago heading to Gore bay camp site to meet up with others. knew we were to arrive after 1am. At 5mins past midnight came down the hill cross the bridge doing 124km per h. Cop had just turned onto road off the highway 7, and got me.
#8619. A stop off Glasnevin Road in Glasnevin while passing through. Went for a short walk to stretch the legs. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. But unfortunately, Paulena was not in the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

After overnighting at the NZMCA site in Parnassus we are travelling south to Rangiora today, stopping to find a few caches along the way.
Parked up and walked back towards the bridge, keeping a wary eye out for the large trucks that whizzed past leaving a rush of air in their wake. No problem accessing or retrieving the cache, thanks.

A good spot for a cache, it was very exposed so I added a little protection and a couple of new log sheets. TFTC
I came over to New Zealand to meet my son, who is staying now for more than five months on the other side of the world. Our intension is, to travel now for 4 weeks through this fantastic land and visiting a lot of fine spots on both islands.
Met in Auckland, our first trip led us to the Far North with some spectacular locations. It was a lot of driving, but we think, it was worth the result.
The second part of our travelling route led us to the south. Going via Hamilton with some fine locations, Hobbiton was an absolutely must of our "unexpected journey" . Went then to Tauranga with a hard upclimb to Mt. Maunganui, visited Rotorua to see lot of vulcanic activities, have had a lot of fun with Zorbing and Claybird shooting and drove then to Taupa, to doing Skydiving.
Here we go: Napier with it's beautiful Art Deco district and the great Aquarium was the next stop.
Final destination on the North Island was Wellington, were we visited some great places and met some friends from Germany.
After crossing Cook Strait now we will follow the east side of the southern island down to the most southern point of New Zealand.
Blenheim with its wine yards, fantastic dolphin watching in Kaikoura, the story of earthquake in Christchurch, following the famous coastline down to Dunedin with its beautiful and interesting places as well as the nice city of Invercargill were our main spots on this part of our journey.
Of course, even if it is not our main activity during this holidays, we will looking for some caches, which are laying beside our route.
So this cache was one of those, we've picked up.
Many thanks to HeyTopps for this fine cache and best greetings from Germany.

Out and about with some of the whanau for a days caching. Great fun all around. The weather was all over the show, mostly warm and wet. Signed log books as Team Polak, consisting of tunfisk, sonia26642, and Hinemoana today. Nice quick find here, TFTC!!
Heading south so just pulled over and walked across the road quick find as I try to finish the E 43 challenge tftc
All good things must come to an end so today it was time for a reverse road trip home to Nelson from Christchurch, finding a few more caches along the way. A nice short walk down and then a short climb up to GZ. Cache took me a bit longer to find than it should have done as I seemed to go straight past it at first. This was our last cache for today. TFTC, Biggles.
