Unfortunately I was unable to attend the event as I was away in Nepal, but as agreed with the Co my son and I spent half an hour today collecting garbage around the LHS of the dirveway, We collected 2 medium sized bags of rubbish each.
We also confirmed that the garbage from last week had been collected by the council for the CO.
Logged with permission form the CO.

My first CITO. A lot of rubbish was collected for an area that supposedly didn't need cleaning.
Thanks
Thanks
I picked an area that I thought had a bit of rubbish and needed a bit of a clean. I was shocked at how much we collected in the short amount of time. It was crazy! Thanks to everyone who attended and help clean the park. I contacted the council who said the park was very clean and didn't need to be cleaned. Everyone did a great job with more than 20 bags of rubbish all more than half full. I'm glad everyone had a great time and helped many people get a CITO Icon for the first time.
Was in the area today to attend the Annual Hill event nearby, and after a spot of caching in between events, headed off to this one. It's not too often these sorts of events are organised in Oz, so it was great to be able to help out to do a bit of cleaning up. This was a great idea, and a well chosen area that needed some tidying.
Gratias AussieCacher.

Sorry peeps, was looking forward to it but something urgent arose and couldn't make it. Hopefully next one ill aim to make.
It was good to give something back to the community with the clean up. Good to see so many backing up from the event this morning. Also managed to grab a cache at the park. Thanks
My first ever CITO. Surprised at how much we all collected from what looked like a clean area.
Despite getting slightly lost on the way due to navigational errors (sad but true lol), we made it just in time for the start of the event. Grabbed our gloves and garbage bags and headed to the SW part of the park along the fenceline and down in the bush near the Sydney Night Cache 2nd edition. Collected almost an entire bag worth of various rubbish - the worst of which took the form of an old up-and-go drink which had become home to hundreds of ants, who didn't appreciate being disturbed and proceeded to swarm up my arm @_@ Had the DT's for quite a while after that incident!!
Thanks for organising this CITO Aussiecacher ...looking forward to more of these sorts of events in the future! =)

After going caching with pjmpjm after the Hills event we were late attending this event and everyone had finished cleaning up. We were keen to help though so got our garbage bags and still was able to collect a decent amount of rubbish. Great idea. Thanks AussieCacher for organising the event.
After finding the new caches in the area then a quick bite to eat back home we turned up with gloves and bags.
It really is a shame that this is our home ground at it gets so trashed.
Met some new caches (bidgies) and enjoyed the chat.
SL and thought wow this was great idea.
Thanks for organizing this Aussie.

My first CITO ..... will not be my last. Was there with superslothsonya, and nice to meet other cachers wanting to give back to the community. Seems people there watching the baseball were very impressed with our efforts.
Attended after Hills event and finding 4 of the new caches released at the event and had time to go home, have some lunch and grab the geodogs. Thank you for organising today's entertainment AussieCacher, I had a very enjoyable day, as did the geodogs. SL #314
Thanks AussieCacher. It was great to meet some fellow cachers, learn some more about caching and to clean up the park. Funny how so much rubbish can come out of a park that looked relatively clean to start with.

The Hills Centenary Park was certainly a little cleaner for the efforts of the group of people who attended this after the nearby Rouse Hill event. Our first CITO event-makes you feel good inside! Thanks Aussie Cacher.
My first CITO event! Some strange peculiar objects were found around the area too. We found a road paver,
A toothbrush,
A sock,
30 VB bottles,
Macdonalds, (Obviously)
And a huge battery.
Thankyou AussieCacher, I'd like to try this unique cache type again some other time.

Arrived a little late after bushbashing our way to The Chirping Forrest with GeoSon and Cybermew3. We still managed to find some rubbish to bag though. Thanks AussieCacher.
What a great concept.
We need more of these.

I think these kinds of CITO 'clean ups' are a great idea!
Arrived a bit late on site due to a longer geocaching trek than I expected (to 'Chirping') but tried to make up for it by tidying up an area near the road, not yet reached by the on-time geocachers.
Many thanks to AussieCacher for 'Cleaning up the Hills' and for the earlier Fourth Annual Hills Geocaching Event.

Ooh dogs are welcomed, geodogs won't be much help they don't even clean up after themselves but we will be there for our first CITO.
Will definitely try to make it to this one =) Really enjoyed the last CITO I attended at Lane Cove National Park
This is my Local Soccer Club.
We will be there for sure,
Top idea Aussie thanks.
Go The RAMS!!!
