Looked all around the area, attacked by ants. Will come back wit re enforcements and bug spray.
WARNING: ACTIVE WASPS
We could not find this one as when I tried looking under a tree was bitten by wasps. Decided to leave this one and bring back some spray. Bites hurt big time.

I found it, when I had to go to the local police station :-/ Cache was clear and good, but the following action with police wasn´t so nice
Well, that looked really inviting. No wonder there were quite a few kids splashing around today. And a lone sole with his bike at the basketball court.
I was attending a function across the street, but before it kicked off, I had some spare time to myself, and it was really nice to have a cache almost at arms reach.
Tried to look more interested in the vegetation, all little intricacies of it, so that the retrieval and replacement would go unnoticed. Retreated to the other side of the trees to stay out of sight, out of mind while signing the log.
The logsheet is very damp and going to disintegrate. A new logbook would be great.

Tried to get this one a while back but was beaten back by games being played nearby so didnt attempt it. Today, having dropped Geoson at Skillstech, was able to quickly locate this one with no one in sight and sign the log. TFTC
Was hacking portals in the park for the game ingress & thought i would give this a go while i was there tnlnsl tftc
I was out geocaching for the day with Bristracker. Quickly found, signed and replaced. No-one was taking a dip at the time, but with the high temperature it looked very inviting. TFTC
No-one around this morning but it was before 7am. Looks like a great park and pool.

This area seems busy at times. Luckily came with Hinemoana so could look a little less suspicious. TFTC!
I set out on a mission today - 50 different caches in one day (sounds easy enough I know) but at least 1km apart from each other, as a partial requirement for GCQY6Q over on Rangitoto Island. My first thought was that this should be much easier in a new territory where I have not found many caches yet, plus we could turn it into a nice drive south to get a NSW souvenir /dev/gc0c made an excellent navigator, carefully choosing cache after cache to satisfy the challenge requirements, and calmly putting up with a few wrong turns as I was getting confused between my right and left... We started just after 6.30am, and got back just before 9pm having completed the mission - and not forgetting about the one extra for the 50 consecutive days - plus one more just for good measure. We had great fun along the way, even though it turned out harder than expected to find them all and keep tiredness at bay - coffee (or hot chocolate) in suitable doses does help! [^] Big thanks to all the CO's of the conveniently placed caches, they contributed to an excellent day!!
I was very envious of all the people in the pool - no time to stop though, even though I did have my togs with me, just in case there is a swamp to cross for a cache TFTC!!

Found nearly spotted by a muggle all good the cache wasn't covered I had it logged in rehid it and I was on my way tftc
I was passing this evening and stopped to get another cache. No one about, so muggle free. TFTC
After trying this one a few months ago I managed a quick find today, I'm sure I looked in that spot last time. Nice hide. TFTC.
The pool did indeed look very inviting but there was a fence between me and it Happily the cache was a quick find, as the temperature was in the mid 30's TFTC, Newcacher#2.
Very quiet here. Pool looked inviting but no one there - too windy today. the log book in plastic bag is wet so I used the little piece of paper and left another piece for future logs. Decided not to remove the wet packet because it was dry outside and cache owner can see who has visited. Thanks for the cache,
Day 6 of the August challenge, and no one about, found the cache in quick time. Signed the log, and off to the next location. TFTC.
It would be a very cool dip indeed today At least this meant there was absolutley nobody around GZ. Why are they always easy to find when there is nobody looking and you have all the time in the world ;-D
Parked near aqua centre and took a nice little stroll through the park, got to GZ, one muggle on a bike, oh well I hope he wasn't wondering what I was doing loitering around. Found the cache in good condition. Tftc.
Out for the afternoon to find just a few caches, so close to a milestone I have to take things slowly. Parked nice and close, then a small stroll past the couple of skaters. I waited for them to busy then dove in to grab the cache. Log signed and back to it's hidey hole.

Found this one quickly whilst gathering a few caches in the area. The log book was a bit wet though.
2nd cache JooJoo57 and I visited today with success - this park I passed many a times years ago when going to and from work. TFTC
Searching with Richmond Lad on a short visit to Brisbane. Went out looking in showery conditions and therefor there were few in the park. This is a lovely park with lots of activities for children. Easy find - thank you Newcacher#2.
Heading out with Whird on the way to meet Hot Wheels Duo and Geobuster today, this was not in the plan, however traffic and using my own sense of direction led us to this cache.
After making the u-turn at the lights pulled up and wandered over, all I can say is I am glad this was winter and the pool was totally free of any muggles.

Out for an afternoon with OrionJ for some caching fun. A short walk past one place that would have been ideal but alas was not the GZ, found shortly after getting to GZ. Log inside bag was wet but inside cache was not ??? placed a page from my note pad into cache and wet log back into wet bag... TFTC
Found it!! My first one.. It's gotten wet so bring some new paper and a sealable bag to help preserve log
5200. Out for the morning geocaching with no maps and no GPS. Just hints and past logs. This was a relatively easy find even without all the other information. Just used geocacher instinct. no sign of wasps or any other nasties! Thanks for the cache, Rodney and Iris.
Eventually - have driven past this hundreds of time - either lack of time or muggle population have prevented any serious attempts before
Have actually been zeroing in on GZ a couple of times to have a bunch of kids arrive to play basket ball.
Today the coast was clear - maybe the showers taht were just clearing may have helped.
Anyway cache was quickly spotted & soon in hand
Log signed & container replaced with additional cover to make it less obvious.

Thanks Newcacher#2

Cache was in clear sight. After signing and adding some things, we camouflaged the cache. Beware of people at the pool! Tftc
Missed this one......the place was packed with regular-folk, and it started to really bucket down. We gave it a few minutes scrounging around in the mulch, free from the gaze of the recently departed muggles (due to the rain no doubt), before we gave in and headed home for dinner, soaking and empty handed.
Should of read last log. Do not go along the fence as the wasps will sting you , and it hurts as I found out. Go in from the skate park side nice and low.
A quick drive by and grab. Cache and log nice and dry.
If your intending to visit with children - watch out for the wasps nest on the fence alongside the cache.

Went with Dad, Mum and my brothers to have a look for my very first geocache! Still dry and safe even after all this rain. TFTC.
Had to wait a while.some young people skate boarding, they left & I was able to have a quick search unobserved.Cache still dry & safe,TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:47am. The cache was found after a few minutes search. The cache is in good condition. TFTC

Out and about caching with Net88, aiming to get ourselves the 2915 by Day series. We were starting to get a little over the heat by the time we reached this cache on our way home, but since it looked like a quick find with easy parking, we stopped in for a look. When we arrived there was another guy walking around near GZ, so we thought it could be a possible cacher, but he left pretty quickly so we don't know for sure.
Net88 made the find while I wrestled with the tired and hot Geodaughters. The pool would have been lovely, but we didn't bring our swimmers with us for the bushwalking we had done earlier.
Thanks for the cache Newcacher#2.

This was cache number eleven for myself whilst caching with the Ninnes Family. We were on our way back and i would have liked nothing more than to go for a cool dip but we ended up just grabbing the cache and heading to a friends shop for lunch. The cache was a little difficult as the lifeguard was doing laps around the pool. Got there in the end though. Thanks for the cache
Such a hot day that I wished the cache was in the pool. Sadly this is not the case nor was there a hole in the fence. We settled with a quick find and heading on to the next one. TFTC TNLNSL
TFTC thanks for the tip on the broken glass, as baby chick was with me. Also helped me ferret out the location in less than 30 secs.
On a public holiday during school vacation I would have expected this area to be swarming with juvenile muggles, but they were apparently afraid of going rusty, so had the spot to myself. What a magnificent way to spend council money, but if it keeps them off the streets and out of the milkbars. . . . . . . . !
Fossicked around, and nearly gave up, so sat down to read through the logs on the miniscule gps screen (need a microscope for that !) and decided to have one last look. A touch of a different colour, and all was revealed, signed, and replaced. TFTC, Newcacher#2.

This was my first find for the day while working in the area. I was a little concerned when I came accross a fence. A fence can mean I am on the wrong side of it
I fossicked in some likely areas and initially couldn't find anything. Was using my boot to search - no need to get pricked by some needle Then I looked beyond my search area and noticed something interesting. Upon investigation, I found it to be the cache
It was in good condition. Thankfully the nice park was totally abandoned today. TFTC Newcacher#2

Following an extremely frustrating and painful DNF at Ugly As in the morning, I was not in the mood to fool around with this one. A kid was zipping around on a skateboard for a while, but took off when I arrived and put my gloves on, perhaps sensing that someone was going to get buried!
I started at one end and worked my way across without success. I then went back and crawled in further and really gave it the scrub turkey treatment (without spilling any bark outside and without leaving roots exposed etc - I'm not a complete vandal). Sure enough, up it came at last. After relaxing to do the biz, I replaced it a little closer to where my GPSr had pointed and in what you might call a more conventional spot for experienced cachers, perhaps better reflecting the intended level of difficulty.
I could have used a cool dip beyond the fence after this one, but I was keen to stay on a roll. TFT N#2!

Finally back in the area today with Gambler2000 {just passing through} and stopped off to see if I could grab this one at last.... started searching but after about 5 minutes I still came up empty.... decided to try something a bit different and soon had the little sucker in hand... under a bit more debris than I expected but all good... signed log and went on my way

No luck today, with the limited time that I had. I didn't realise that BC had only recently found it, or I would have PAF. The PQ in my Garmin is a couple of weeks old now, so the log wasn't there. Another day maybe ... Thanks anyway Newcacher#2
I thought day was going to be wet...but the sun came out, so I quickly packed the bike and on the train. Another day out caching.
This is a cache I have looked for without success in the past. After a bit of searching I found it under a pice of bark Though the location was about 5m from my GZ, not far enough away to cause any problems this time.
All dry and in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Left a TB.

Checked and is definately still there.
It was buried under the new mulch so I repositioned it.

Having driven past this one, council has done a lot of work here, including adding mulch. Cache may well be gone and will need a check up by the owner.
I think this one needs to be checked by the cache owner.... Alot of new mulch placed here.... Spoke to two previous finders and was told exactly where to lookout still no luck.... May need to be checked to make sure it's still there & findable under all that mulch
Pretty sure we were in the right spot, but recent gardening/mulching efforts imply that this may have been a casualty, or better buried then we could dig for. May need checking.
Out and about with the lovely Pprime. Too much mulch was dumped in GZ and it could have been buried underneath it. Will come back another day when other fellow cachers find it. Thanks anyway Newcacher#2. This area is quite nice.
Meet up with an old hag and Amelia n co after I ran into bill ay one of hags caches and adked if I wanted to join them as hag was off work at 9pm...so off I went...tftc...kinda hard at night to find but lucky we had 4ppl with light..think last cacher placed in differrnt spot...anyhow tftc
Looked for this one in the early morning hours and couldn't find it.
saw a really cute fluro frog on a leaf, and a pair of stick insects mating - poor bugger didn't realise he would soon be dead - but no cache.
I have now sought help, and I believe that we must have overlooked it because it should be in a place where we were looking - will try again with the new info at hand.

after finishing work at 2100 I raced back home to pick up amelia and co., to try and find this one again, after getting a hint about the location.
We also searchd with aussiegirlz and geopoppy, and it was geopoppy who found the stash, with the help of the clue, even though it was slightly off mark.
I believe that previous finders may have gradually moved it further and further from it's original spot.

After my recent DNF I acquired a hint as to where to look. Applying that today I parked closer than last time on the main road and not a muggle to be seen so grabbed a pointy stick and set to work. The co-ords were pretty good for me and after some scratching around I turned up the cache. Seemed to be in no mans land but I replaced it back how it was. I still think the clue offers no guidance more than looking at the map would, but glad to have this one done, another smiley for the count TFTC.
Hmm 30C fine Sunday to attempt this one? I don't think so! No way to search without drawing undue attention. 'Til next time
There was not a sole to be seen today as I grabbed this one. This would have been a lot tricker if the pool was busy, but I was lucky today. TFTC
Found by R this afternoon while L was at gymnastics nearby.
Log is a bit wet but cache otherwise ok.

Muggles galore at GZ today but the way of the world was with me and they nicked off as I approached. Perhaps I'm scary looking or just ugly. Soon on the hunt and looked all over the place within a radius of about 10m of my GZ. No luck. The hint gave me no narrowing of the search field and told me nothing that the co-ords did not, useless. I tried a PAF but no answer. I think time to give up, I felt there are much better places to hide a cache in this park but will be back for another try.
Last cache of the day, as gpsr battery about to die. An audacious hide...not sure how long this cache will last as quite exposed, or could be. Thanks for the cache. XN, SL.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We had attempted this one several times during the week, however muggles seem to love this spot We headed off under the cover of darkness and in the rain late in the evening We searched around, but nothing stood, out and even after widening our search, we just couldn't spot it... We eventually spotted something in the ground, and soon revealed the cache Logbook signed, and off we went

Failed to avoid the watchful gaze of a muggle, luckily tree cover prevented them from seeing exactly what we were upto. Good practice for caching in high muggle areas. TFTC
This cache was one of the ones I grabbed while in Queensland for 40 hours. I arrived in at Queensland Airport and then grabbed a hire car for the next 40 days. I had time to do some caching in-between attending a sad family matter in Noosa. While in Queensland I had a chance to cache just the south side of Brisbane, Around Noosa and along the Sunshine Coast. I was pressed for time and chose to forgo sleep one night to maximize my time while in Queensland. The Majority of my caching was done at night and I could not believe the amount of toads in the state now. All in all I had a great time caching up here before heading back down south. TFTC
I thought I might be faced with muggles at this one from either side of the fence, especially as it is school holidays... But, all nice and quiet and I was free to hung in peace... [^]
I checked a couple of places I thought might be obvious but came up empty handed... Hmm, time to widen the search a little then... As I moved over a fraction from where I was, voila, there was the container...
I stayed put for business and tucked it away with plenty of camo to keep it safe. As I retreated back to the Gunniemobile, a car pulled up behind and a couple got out and headed toward GZ. Naturally I stayed where I was to suss out the situation... Turned out they were muggles letting their puppy have a toilet break from the car... [:o)]

So we dropped back (again) as J of PJATPAC was obsessing about how she could have missed it. A decided she would like to take the froggies on a journey so we now have them for tonight.
Mrs PJATPAC sent me over to this one after a DNF. Got to GZ and saw 2 trousered legs poking out of the garden so suspected it to be another geocacher. It was Crew 153, nice to meet you. Couldnt find in the immediate vicinity so widened the search, no luck. Came back to GZ & spotted something different, there it was. TFTC TNLNSL
Arrived at GZ after jumping across the water to get there.
There was not a soul around on either side of the fence so I started searching.
I hadn't been there long when I pulled out from under a bush to see someone approaching. Luckily they had some electronic instrument in their hand. Said hello to P of PJATPAC. We both continued the search and it was P who came up with the goods in a spot which I probably would not have searched for a while.
I dropped in the Triplets GCA frogs (GA4034) who will probably like being near the pool. TFTC.

After getting the notification we raced out in the race for the FTF.
We arrived & after checking the details another car pulled up....... ah no i hope this is not muggles...... nope Goldielover, Stairman & Zac.
With but a small torch & some much needed guidance from Zac we had cache in hand.
Note: When looking at the map of a recently published cache i realised we had not logged this.

Joint FTF with Stairman1 and Jimmy Project. . We saw this one pop up tonight and decided we would grab it. We loaded geodog in the car and off we went. As we arrived we saw another car there but hoped it was someone parking . Out jumped our nemesis Jimmy Project and our search started together. We quickly located the hide. Thanks Newcacher#2.
